Thanks for watching! 💕
I know you made this tutorial 7 months ago but I've just now decided I'm going to give it ago today!
yay good luck!!
Allison, I love watching your videos. They are very informative without being looooong! Hope you can give me some help. I keep getting micro bubbles and can’t seem to get rid of them. Any pointers? I have used a tail on brush and my finger. Thank you!
Thank you or the kind words! You're probably doing a combination of these things: 1) using too much product 2) over working the product - apply in 30 seconds and then walk away 3) too much pressure when you use the brush. it should be barely touching your cup!
Yayy
I have a question. Doing something like this... how do you make sure the top of the cup is still smooth and flat? Where you drink from
This video was great! You gained a new sub!!Questions: would you add more Brite tone over decals for a smooth, sealed finish?
How do you prep a stemless wine glass? And is brite tone an alternative to epoxy? Meaning does it seal the same way epoxy does with the same rock hard finish? Is it food safe? Thank you so much!
I just bought a ton of food safe epoxy so I'm stuck using that for now.
Yay, so glad you found me! Brite Tone is an alternative to epoxy! the application is slightly different but yes it is food safe and gives a rock hard clear and shiny finish! I do seal with Brite Tone over my decals! I'm going to post a video on that soon!
Love the color of the glitter! May I ask the brand?
Can’t wait for my glitter glue to come...it’s on a bit of a delay for a bit, pretty excited!
Thank you for the video! You explain things so well.
Thank you! I hope it comes soon!! It's called Nebula from www.creepsakesshop.com
@@AlisonCrafts I probably shouldn’t have ask the brand of glitter....I just spent 50$ 🤣
I’ve watched a lot of your tutorials and they have been a great help. The problem I’m having is I put on the glitter glue wait 6 minutes and then the glitter. When I go to rub in the glitter it is only staying in some areas. What I’m doing wrong?
try waiting less time. It's hard to tell you exactly what time you need to wait - the temp in your room and the amount of glue will make a difference! I recommend practicing on some coasters
I know this video is old so I’m not sure this will get an answer - but I’m curious - it seems like this method is much quicker than how it’s normally done so I’m wondering why this wouldn’t always be the method of choice? Can it only be done with certain glitters? Thanks!
Can I use extreme protection to build up, then Brite tone at the end or do you still suggest Brite Tone all the way through?
You can use EP if you want! I only use BT these days.
Hi Alison, I was wondering if I need to spray paint the stemless wine glasses?
The glitter glue adheres to glass so you don't need a colored base coat unless you want it! I just recommend having a matching for this method.
Crystalac is taking forever to process my order 😭😭😭
I have orders due!
Took exactly 23 days to arrive. 😞😞☹️☹️
Hey! I have already applied the glitter via actual TACK-IT product. Do you think I need to seal THAT before applying BT?
I recommend sealing with clear spray paint and letting that dry 48 hours
Can you use the original track it over and over glue with crystalac brite tone? Is there a specific wait time for degassing afterwards? TIA!
It's not really recommended because it's not a permanent glue however some people have used it and it turns out okay.
Alison Crafts Thank you! okay, so that being said, would you run the risk of the glitter shifting by using the tack it glue as opposed to the glitter glue?
How long do you wait between the base coat and applying the glitter glue?
4 hours!
If I want to add fabric over this, do I need to BT it first, before adding fabric? Or can I add the fabric right over this since it’s flat and then BT?
And can I add another coat of glitter if this first one didn’t cover good?
Nice! So will this glue work on plastic cups? Crystalac always peels on me.
This glue adheres to plastic. The problem with plastic is that if it's bent, whatever is on it will crack.
Do you need to sand or prep with alcohol wipe before applying base coat?? My question applies to plastic and metal cups and ceramic tiles (I use them to make coasters)
Ola boa tarde, queria muito aprender a fazer esses copos , porem estou com dificuldades com o idioma, não consigo entender todo o processo.
What do the glitter glue look like. I wanna grab one from amazon.

Thank you for the video, it’s safe to use?
sure is! non toxi0c & no hazardous ingredients
@@AlisonCrafts thank you
Can you use crystalac over a coat of epoxy resin?
Yes as long as the epoxy is fully cured
Do you have a video using glass with holographic glitter
tack it method on glass? Like this one but with no base coat? no i don't. but i can work on doing one!
Hello. Can I use the flitter flue on a wine glass?
yep!
What is Flitter Flue??
Do we let it cure for 30 days before using cup?
5 days!
Did you list the items you used?
Yes, everything used is in the video description!
My glitter glue just came yesterday and has a cottage cheese consistency... I can’t get it smooth for the life of me. Is this normal?
shake it up super well!!
Where did you get that glitter?
It's called Nebula from www.creepsakesshop.com
Hi it’s me again! Is this the wine glass video? I thought maybe this was a tumbler.
It's a wine glass from dollar tree!
All sold out dang it!
Should be more in the next week or two!
