No kidding, I was bingeing the third ep last night but fell asleep before I could finish. Opened UA-cam today to see this one and just had to say adios to the last one bc I don't wanna miss this!!! 😅

I think that is due to the fact that most news sources and journalist aren’t focused on news anymore. It’s all about catering to corporate interests, making one political party look worse than another, or otherwise pushing someone’s agenda.
@@creescrossgaming7256 Especially considering all major media companies are owned by the same 5 people. All the news we see on tv is decided by no more than a handful of people. Imagine the control you would have if you were one of those people. You could make the entire world believe anything you wanted. We have all seen the video of all the different news stations saying the exact same thing word for word.. it's called a television program for a reason.

I keep thinking this was a long con, but I've probably watched too much tv. Has the seller from Canada been positively ID'd?
They're all in on it. They'd have to be. The attempt is to get enough transactions behind it until the deal self-validates. They just weren't expecting it to blow up in the public realm so fast with it going to LP.
I feel like the Sellers thought they could get away with it because Logan Paul lacks real collector knowledge. He has a ton of money he throws at expensive stuff without understanding the intricacies and market. He is not part of the collector scene who are the real experts (likely because it takes time to gain knowledge and experience in a specific subject and he doesn't want to devote the hours required to do it.)
Thus he is a perfect victim for these high level scams. He doesn't know who to ask and so called "experts" like Collectable Guru can fool him into hiring them. They tell him not to do something (like open the box) due to a reason that seemingly makes sense and he believes them. Thus he is likely not going to find out... unless something like this happens where the community he should have talked to blows the whistle and he hears of it. Question is will he take the proper steps to verify the purchase or once again turn to self proclaimed experts who are also looking to scam him for bad advice?
For the scammers Logan Paul finding out this is fake is really bad. He has the clout, money, and lawyers to bury them if he wants. Logan does seem to have a temper at times so he might just do that if he takes it personal (also the whole process could also bring in a lot of views so that alone might motivate him to go on the offensive).

@@RattlePokemon I just noticed something when looking at the fake box(es) @48:00 . 2 of the boxes do not say 1st edition. When Logan Paul and them open the case the bbce guy says something about a couple of the boxes not saying 1st edition. Dont know if that means anything but it seems like it could definately be a link.
You called it bro. When I heard about it, first thing in my head is "I haven't seen a sealed case in 10 years". Unless it was a storage find, it didn't add up. It sucks that it was fake but anyone in the high-end market had questions because we have actively been in the scene and haven't seen sealed cases in years and know the few that well known collectors have. It's like if a sealed MTG Alpha case pops up, we are going to have questions.

I went down this rabbit hole last night. Buckle up lads part 4 just dropped!
I remember I had a Jordanian friend whose previous friends were scammers and he told me: "some people, if they don't steal money from others for a day, they won't feel comfortable and happy and they feel their day is not yet complete. They live on scamming others."
And this guy is an example. Running this for more than 7 years scamming people. Lowest of the low.

I don’t know how anyone could think there were even real cards in that box at this point, let alone base set 1st edition.
I think we're going to see unlimited base or something like that. Just because no one has been careful on this case doesn't mean the original scammer didn't expect people to at least weigh the box or something.

Saw the liveatream video last night where Logan is a little nervous
Logan jumped on an Instagram live yesterday with PokeJew and Gary King Pokemon and admitted he did literally zero research and just trusted who he was buying from because of the BBCE authentication. He even admitted that the only reason he was now concerned and going to open the box was because IGN posted that Poke Beach story they made using your vids. Logan should have you on retainer at this point, your investigation skills are too notch😂
I know nothing about Pokemon, but I really like your style and you drew me in with your investigative skills and presentation. You deserve a big audience. Good luck to you.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get crazier…if poke butler is really behind this I’m thinking there is truly 6 resealed 1st Ed boxes inside…Logan must open the case and a box at this point…if the BBCE end up doing the authentication behind closed doors or simply do an opening to peek inside and see 1st Edition boxes and call it a day, this will carry on and on. And sadly I can see that happening to save reputation. We’ve seen people as reputable as Rusty (TCA) get scammed, PokeRev scammed, the Dumb Money guys almost scammed. You cannot trust clear shrink wrap! So many empty boxes have been auctioned/sold in the past few years that I wouldn’t be surprised if this scammer took extreme measures to carrying this out down to each pack being resealed. Big risk big reward. And if the original buyers had their doubts but ignored their gut and decided to get it wrapped anyway and flip it shame on them. At the end of this if it’s fake I hope the scammer(s) finally get charged. The sellers will take a hit on reputation but will bounce back in time.
Even Steve has said he wouldn't authenticate the expensive clear wrap boxes. Never forget mid-2020 when he didn't know what base set 1st edition was.

I feel the exact same way...that if he just peeks inside that this will continue. In order for this to be TRULY finished he has to open it, take out a box and open it, run through said box and pick out a random pack in the middle and open it

I honestly think this should be reported to the authorities, FBI, because this is hurting the entire authentication world. I buy graded comics and I have to trust my graders. If my graders are being bribed so they can fraud people down the line then the feds need to step in and end it. Hope you guys are saving all this stuff in a zip file so you can just give it to the authorities so they can shut it down. I don’t want to see my collectibles crater in value because of fear of who’s a trustworthy grader.

I just wanted to say that your speech halfway through was amazing and heartfelt. I STRONGLY believe in what youre doing and trying to clean up the Pokemon Community because before Logan Paul made Pokemon boom, we were able to srill get cards on the shelves when we wanted to buy them, we didnt have all these lowlife scalpers and scammers resealing packs and boxes, and we had a Community that was into Pokemon for the true love and passion of it all and not just for the money. Having a card that is worth something is a beautiful thing and awesome/fun, but it shouldnt be anyones first purpose. Im here if you need any help with ANYTHING and i mean that man. I know it's not a huge deal but...I not to long ago bought a box of Vivid and the jerks resealed it. It was my first purchase I ever did on Ebay and the last..People need to be aware of this kind of stuff,Most people are buying resealed or fake cards and don't even have any idea and give positive feedbacks and help support these terrible people. I see alot of parents or grandparents buying for there loved ones and they are unknowingly getting scammed.
Down with these parasites that are taking advantage of people!
But be warned brother. When you are stepping on ppls toes and making waves.. People will go to extreams and could try to get revenge on you.

I watched the latest Impaulsive episode last night and after you were referenced, I had to search youtube for they keywords "Logan Paul Pokemon" and filtered the duration for "this month" to see who exactly Logan was talking about and I was able to find you and I watched all 4 episodes of your videos. Wow man. Great fucking job. You're a hero. I'm not into Pokemon, but it's great to see there are people out there like yourself that would go up and beyond. You should never need a lawyer. The judge is sworn to uphold the law no matter what. So by the judges upholding why would some prosecutor be able to lie and finesse the trial? It’s a set up.

Hey Rattle, I heard about your series from Rusty (TCA gaming) from his donut eating stream today/yesterday. I also saw you hanging out in chat. Great video series. Whether the case is real or fake, I think it's fair to say that you did a lot of research and overall provided people with a lot of good information.
