    Without gloves the grader has tactile dexterity but it doesn't take much moisture to permanently damage a card. It's natural to sweat profusely when handling cards with 5 or 6 digit values as they often do at PSA. Any employee finger prints on our heirlooms can and will be used as evidence!

    I would also add that it seems strange that during the sealing process they put the card in the PSA holder first, and not the sticker first. I say that because when you put the card in first, there's still a chance that the sticker could fall down onto the card and damage the card. we are dealing with human error here, and it's some thing I'm sure they've changed or at least I hope so.

      I also want to use gloves bc Im afraid Ill leave some oil, body fluids or dirt on the cards but it seems to be a pain in the ass to find good gloves (Im buying very thin cotton gloves with very precise and small stitches at the fingertips)

    What would be the most accurate card grading would be a card machine that wouldn’t be biased in anyway in grading. Also, this stupid assumption if psa not being able to afford this or that is absurd considering they’ve been in business for 30 years and they are constantly back logged with card grading. Considering this is an old video of them grading, there process may have improved, but if they haven’t and they’re using yellow tint lighting to check your card, that would be scrary and i could see how that would impact an accurate grade on cards sent to them.

      @RattlePokemon So, if you had a primo, very in demand card you thought there was a very realistic chance it was a PSA 10, and, if so, would be worth, say, $15,000+, and you wanted to sell it, you still wouldn't get it graded?
      If that's the case, how would you go about getting anywhere near the amount of money you felt very strongly it was worth?

    • @3TNT3
      @3TNT3 6 місяців тому

      Then how do you get anywhere close to the right amount of money for a very valuable card you have?

    I don't get things graded beacuse I can't afford it 😅

      @RattlePokemon  2 роки тому +2

      It's not about not being able to afford it. If it's not something you like, why spend money on that instead of cards? I know plenty of people with raw cards with values that dwarf graded collections.

    You're basing the PSA grading process from an investor video from the early 2010? Huh?

    I think they are too busy counting the enormous piles of cash they take in and have no time to grade cards fast enough. They have to make an extreme amount of money. They will never get any of mine though.

      absofuckinglutely. The trick has worked. The pigeons have all bought in and now, we will make them pay more and more and we will reap the massive riches of this made up thing called grading.

    Learn to grade on a photo copy of a possibly photo of maybe a real card or multiple printings, or reliable not, or mostly fakes or involved on fakery for a number of sub or older acquired card houses.

    • @godofsounds
      @godofsounds 2 роки тому

      @@Clovud This grading thing is so overvalued...all of them. The high prices for grading PSA and BGS makes the grading thing untenable, and so many got burnt. But BGS is fair in grading. I've seen so many PSA10s in eBay that I would not consider a 10 for me....can see obvious flaws.
