    are you measuring down from the belly of the bow or the back for the inch marks ?

      @@BurningRiverBushcraft Ya I also hadn’t understood exactly what that means. Seems you make a line an inch and 3 quarters above where the back would lay. Why is that? Just wondering if that 6 inches was from the raised line or the bottom where the back of the bow lays.

      @@BurningRiverBushcraft Does that mean the skinniest part of the grip? it’s confusing since different bows could have different dimensions.

      @@ChopinIsMyBestFriend From the deepest part of the grip to your anchor point is the draw length. The back of the bow isn't what you measure off of. Don't sweat it as long as you aren't over drawing the bow it doesn't matter.
