    Unfortunately a lot of people who have savings and currency would pay back all the debt which has accumulated since the past year, heavy inflation and currency devaluation will come in play to absorb these debts. For me buying shares and investing in decentralized assets would be a way to escape this already foreseen mess that is already happening.

      Helping others who are less fortunate is a nice thing to say. It makes a person sound like they believe in helping others with good deeds. Of the various people I have known who talk about helping others very few actually do. The people who actually help other's don't tend to say much. It's like that line in the Death of a Salesman, "He doesn't need to talk about it, he's doing it." Rev. Ike says the best way to help poor people to to not be one of them.
      The so called Charities and such are mostly scams. They spend almost none of the money they receive on the Poor. They make a living for themselves. Public Sector, NGO's Churches, etc. get a fortune per poor person and very little of it goes to the poor.
      People who actually employ, feed, house Treat the poor are Carpenters, Stores and Hospitals, etc.. The County Welfare office does nothing but support itself.

    14:05 Delaying paying off your personal home mortgage due to the inflation factor may be all well and good, but on your primary home, if you do not have the capability to cover the mortgage payments in the long term future (i.e. job security), it might be wise to pay down the mortgage while you have the cash. Establish a safety net of money in the bank and then pay off the house. This way you and your family won't be homeless if you lose your job.
    For any rentals you may have with loans, make the minimum mortgage payment. Currently U.S. tax law allows the interest on income property to be written off as business expense, which reduces your taxable income.

    • @erinfield1943

    There is a tug of war between deflation and inflation. Retirees paying off debt erases currency from the system and is deflationary.. however the FED is issuing massive amounts to counter the retirees .. if people save the currency it has a deflationary effect. It's when there is a high velocity exchange of funds very quickly you then have to much currency chasing fewer goods and then its inflation out the wazoo..

    My understanding is that gold really is what currency is based on. It has been since the beginning of civilization and it still is today. Like, our cash is a representative of how much gold a country has. Inflation happens when money is created without the actual physical gold to back it up and because theres no gold backing it up, the money is de-valued. I could be wrong because im not a finance expert but thats the layman explanation given to me a long time ago. So if youre gonna invest in silver and gold, the best way to do so is purchasing actual silver and gold, not on stocks that deal with silver and gold. The actual metals themselves will hold their value, inflation included. If im wrong please correct me

    • @SchoolofPersonalFinance
      @SchoolofPersonalFinance  3 роки тому +5

      Thanks Ninja! You are correct but the big issue is once the US stopped requiring dollars to be backed by physical gold the money printing exploded. It can just be created out of thin air without any physical gold to back it.

    The debt tied to assets sounds good; however, I recall in 2007-2009 banks were calling debt even that in good standing. If I were a banker, I would love for someone to buy and maintain the assets until such time as the assets appreciate significantly at which time I will call the loans en mass. It's improbable most borrowers can come up with the cash in a short period. Thus, I will acquire said assets at a partial price without the headache of maintenance in the interim.
