Get out of your feelings. Clearly, you've never been on the other side of having your property lived in, destroyed, or simply had folks moved in who weren't on the lease. Imagine buying new appliances, new flooring, hiring and paying thousands to contractors for repairs to walls and doors because of fights 😳. The landlord has nothing to do with your personal finances. Business is business. For your bleeding heart imagine it was your property and you need to be paid by your tenants who can't pay you. How long would you let it continue? Some of yall hold grudges over 20.00. Quit it
People always feel so bad about what happening on "other peoples property" but will not lift one finger to help themselves. Ask any of them if the evicted can come stay with them for free for six months. The answer will be, "HELL NO!"
"No, they can't come to my house and tear it up. I was just feeling bad that you wouldn't let them stay in your house - it's just money you know." smh
It’s kinda funny people keep talking about you should not have recorded this. This clearly shows people do not know that in certain states what you do is so a sheriffs office does not have to do it because it would make us look bad and someone has to do it. What else is bad is that even though they didn’t know they should have questioned him when his friend paid the $3,000 for the bankruptcy paperwork. Last thing who I’m the hell gonna speak about posting a video seem like this video is to show people the you don’t pay we kick you out. You destroy other people stuff and don’t pay we kick you out. I see both sides of this situation but get over it people it’s because everything is public record even you’re address your job how much you make and so much more. I can find out how much debt you have and more. Public record not only the cops are posted everything is public now cause everyone wanna cry and wanna be nosey here you go no one is safe.

So true! A coworker gave me that advice as an 18 year old on my first job, and I am forever grateful to her. She said you could get 7 dinners from 7 neighbors but you won’t get any 1 neighbor to house you for 7 nights. As soon as I could I bought my own place.

@@SuccessfulladiesSoftLife Ewww, you’re so masculine…but anyway, He clearly called the attorney, who stated that he paid 5,000 after refiling bankruptcy. If things haven't been stable in my life, and I haven't been on the same job for nearly 10 years, I am not moving into a nice house such as this one in this video. Always, always, always get something affordable to where if something was to ever happen, or you get down on your luck, then you will still be able to at least pay your rent. I've unfortunately been in that situation (I was young, and dumb), but even if you file BEFORE the eviction process, Landlords, or rental properties don't typically brush off bankruptcy's, because to them it looks like you're a high risk for screwing them in the long run. In darker days for myself, I did the same, but in time, and still got kicked out on a technicality within the lease, trust me, filing for bankruptcy doesn't just screw you for 7 years, but it also puts a black mark on you for anything that you're already in. Thankfully, I'm in great shape now, I'd tell anyone young, live within your means, the big flashy house will come, and always PAY FOR YOUR ROOF BEFORE ANYTHING!
Entering a house on eviction day and discovering that NOTHING has been getting packed up in preparation for the big move, just demonstrates that "renters" believe they have every *right* to stay there rent-free forever.
Not knocking anyone's struggles because I have struggled too. I've been homeless.. lived in my car, shelters, transitional housing and now have section 8. But I could just remember seeing people getting evicted, or after the eviction with all of their things sitting out on the street. I just couldn't. May they all find respite, relief and opportunity to use the wisdom they gained from this lesson. May they continue to be covered until they can arrive to that point, and beyond.
Another thing don't wait until the deputies come to put your stuff on the curb. There are enough people there to have rented a storage space and truck to get that stuff out before they come to move you out. Dismissal of a bankruptcy means they did not pay those payments either.
You know you stuff, that's exactly what it means!

Memphis has a terrible housing shortage right now. My sibling moved out there and luckily found a apt 3 weeks later.
It's funny how some of y'all think that the rent is or should be forgiven once an eviction goes through, I've evicted many tenants even after they caught up on their rent, I'm owed that money, I want my money and I want them out. 90 percent of landlords have mortgages, utilities, insurance and taxes to pay on these homes plus the massive expense of refurbishing the apartment to rent it again but we should let you slide? Nope, pay your bills or get out!
If I was that young man and all them grown people living in their knew rent had not been paid and there was a looming eviction, and did not help me pay rent..they betta not speak to me ever..
When filing Bankruptcy it does not negate your payments to rent or mortgage. The court will tell you that your rent or mortgage payments must be kept current.

I don't even feel right commenting on someone else's situation it feels so personal. So I will just say prayers for them 🙏 and I hope that they come out of this okay.
I agree
Agreed
They're young clean , and well-spoken, because they're young , they probably didn't know that they had resources available to possibly help them stay in their home. I wish they would have got help sooner from friends , family members.. I wish them all the blessings in the world.
Seems like these folks did what they were told but were given faulty information. Happens way more often than people think.
Often people sign things without reading. You have to read and ask questions. No one is going to take care of you except you no matter how much you're paying them. Read and ask questions.
bankruptcy lawyers file bankruptcy. thats how they get paid. divorce and bankruptcy are supposed to be the last options when there are problems. many ppl use them first to just get out of situations they could've easily prevented or solved
@@elreytritonExactly. Some people have heard of the word "Bankruptcy" and believe it's a way to get out of their obligation of paying their bills.
They had the fireplace going. That messed up their day. I am sure the owner/bank are happy to have this process done.
It sucks, but they don’t just come out of the blue to evict u! These people knew they were being evicted! Nice property thou!
OK, let's state the obvious. It's pretty bold when you KNOW that you haven't paid any rent and you have a fire going in the fireplace. BANKRUPTCY WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM BEING EVICTED!!! At best, it will slow the process down, it won't prevent it.
Eviction = you don't own it.
Foreclosure = the bank lets you claim it as yours.
Either one, if you don't pay for it, you WILL be kicked out.
You’re amazing, your demeanor keeps everyone calm.
By the grace of God. That could be any of us. Many of us are 1 to 2 paychecks away. So. I pray 🙏. They were able to find another home 🏡
im humbled. and thank god for being in a comfy position
Everyone is feeling sorry for them but what about the landlord? They paid 5,000 dollars in bankruptcy fee's to avoid paying rent. Where does that leave the landlord who is probably paying mortgage on that house, or could be depending on rent money to pay mortgage on a house they live in. People are so selfish
And property tax and homeowner's insurance
I will never pity people who dont pay their rent. I see healthy young adults who can work hard to afford this place... No excuse. if my poor immigrant parents who speak no english did it so can these Americans.. stop enabling them. . you wouldnt like it if someone was not paying their rent for YOUR property.
This almost happened to me and more than once. (Eviction). It is hard to get things straight, but it can be done. Sending prayers to this family and things turn around for them.
Weird how knowing this is coming, theyre just living like things are normal, nothing packed or anything.
This kind of makes me think they actually thought everything was handled like theyre saying.
Exactly…you can tell that he thought things were taken care of. He paid the 5,000 to the attorney. The Attorney advised him that things were settled. I definitely agree with eviction. However, this one was sad…
I would of used that $5K to give for my house
So respectful... I feel so sorry for them, meanwhile the guy is trying to be nice nasty with the comments he’s making to them
Exactly! I thought he was very very rude and condescending smh
Honestly if I was the owner of the house, I would just let them have a few months of payments then let them keep the house as theirs
I'm use to seeing the property ruined because tenants know they have to move. This was a very well kept property. Sad they were evicted. Smh
It’s unfortunate he hasn’t been taught the process and he already filed Bk.
His Attorney should have address this issue.
Most of what he's saying is bull$hit just to stall
So funny when officer Penn tells the workers ANDALE !!!😂
This one I definitely feel bad about. They were respectful people and the house looks well kept. I hope they are in a better living situation now.
When somebody get when they give you an eviction notice you should have enough sense to get your butt out or they're going to trash your stuff they can also take your stuff if they want to so if they tell you you got two weeks to get your butt out you get out
I remember I watch my neighbors get put out they told her that they was evicting her they put her and her kids out on the street in the rain process servers are not responsible they work with the sheriff department and the courts their job is to put your stuff on the street if you sit there and don't handle your business like try getting a new apartment you shouldn't be surprised when they start putting your stuff on the street and they cannot take your payment you should be handling your business
@@twanawesometv7969 😭
Got to be the worst feeling in the world to have your stuff put on side of the road because you didn't pay rent.Smh!
You don't need people decorating the house you need a sense of priority to keep your home at any cost..
They are so respectful and polite. Their home is beautiful! I feel bad for the guy evicting but this is heartbreaking for this nice family. God bless.🙏🏻
Looks like he was living above his means. It’s sad but it’s a good life lesson. Don’t let people move in who don’t help pay the bills, either. When I was 18 my boyfriend and I had a bunch of roommates move with us in a big house, but then we ended up being the only ones who payed rent and bills. Luckily we were able to struggle and make ends meet bc his Dad was our co-signer and we didn’t want to let him down. We ended up deciding to buy a house when the lease was up, and it was so gratifying leaving those dead beats sitting on egg crates as we left. One of them asked if they could live in our garage at our new house lol. We turned off the utilities, left them sitting in the dark with no cable or water, and never had room mates again aside from family here and there. He will survive this, and not make this mistake again.
It's great to hear that you got out of that situation and learned from it 👍. I made the mistake of allowing evicted friends move in temporarily with me. I will never make that mistake again. It became obvious really soon that they were in no hurry to get their own place. I had to get rude to get them to leave.
Too many people don’t want to act their wage because they want to portray the image of money to everybody on the outside. For him to be that young & already filing bankruptcy shows that he’s very irresponsible.
Just pay your rent or look for a cheaper apartment or house, I know he feels embarrassed. I hope everything works out for them.
Man that apartment rent be high too, but yet at the same time I do hope things settled up for them
Anybody else ever wonder how it is that everybody is always at home/not at work? No wonder your bills arent paid, tou atent at work!! Good god.
I know someone has to do it but I couldn’t do this job. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night. I pray for this young man.
Facts it's that humanity in you & all of us with good hearts ❤
Can’t people do rent to own plans for houses?
Why does everyone act so surprised after not paying rent, they have to leave?
Yeah this one hits me because their home was actually a home. They kept it clean and all & were sweet people. Bankruptcy definitely messes up the chances of moving elsewhere so I really hope one of them in the house stepped up and got them in something better.
Being "sweet" doesn't get the rent paid 😂. Even "sweet" people know that they have to pay to live somewhere. Everyone is the same when it comes to paying the rent.
How you don't know if you're being evicted? You get notices. Ignoring notices don't absolve you of your responsibilities. This is someone's property and he had a contract that he was unable to pay. All them people in the house and no one can pay rent on time? I feel sorry for the people but life is not a game.
Wow. It takes several weeks, sometimes months before it gets to this point…as sad as it is, they had plenty of time to get this right! My next thing is…Al these able-bodied adults and monthly rent Couldn’t be met??
There are people 2 to 3 times their age who struggle and go to work every day in all kinds of weather. There is absolutely no excuse for these young people not be working. What a powerful lesson. They lost everything trying to be slick. God bless all of you ❤️
These type of people don't see it as a "lesson learned" their mind automatically starts thinking of how to get "something for nothing" again 🙄😒. I bet one of them said to the other "Get on the phone to your grandma and see if we can stay there. I need a little time to find us another place to squat in 🤔.
Oh be quiet you don’t know the back story so don’t be judgemental !
This is a sad situation to be be in. To be evicted and have your things put out on the street by complete strangers. I pray they find something quick.
I was a process server and had to stop doing evictions when I got evicted. I was always sympathetic and super nice when I had to do it. It never feels good though.
Lmao your job was to evict people and then you got evicted lmao
Did you serve your self?
Isn't it ironic.....
@@Relaxedjack lmaooo. wow
The brother was stunting like he had it like that. He probably is a UA-cam Influencer. They quit their 9 to 5 jobs, get these mansion type houses and expensive car’s to show off on Instagram.
Interesting
People know when they have to move you cannot stay anywhere free. They put notes on your door several times.
When I was a child and we got evicted the folks through our stuff out of the window and broke all our furniture. At least the moving folks are respectful.
Why didn't his bankruptcy lawyer informed him of this?
He definitely did
I hate that happened to them I admire how pretty and well kept the house look my heart goes out to those young people trying to keep a roof over they head so sad they had to get out💗
I empathize with them because I've been there. More than likely he overexceeded his budget. Filing bankruptcy was the wrong thing to do, unless he has a tremendous amount of unsecured debt.
They seem to be good people who just made poor choices. Neither of them cut up and caused trouble. I wish them the best.
* If any of yall from the video see this, by all means, live within your means, especially in this crazy economy. There's no reason to impress anyone but yourself. This eviction is only a testimony, not a downfall. Blessings on yall next place.
There was no Covid in 2017
@@marshaymiddleton6369 great catch! Just noticed the time stamp in that corner.
This just broke my heart. I know it’s a old video but I hope they are living in a better situation and learned from this
makes me feel good. hope they are in a tent by the river.
Me to.🙏🏾
Why is it in every video of an eviction, they always act shocked like they had no idea they haven’t been paying their rent for months??? You can tell she is telling lies based on how she is answering these questions about her bankruptcy. It is ludicrous that they actually believe they are exempt from paying their rent and other bills? And…two able bodied adults are at home? Why aren’t they at a job? all the effort going in to finding ways NOT to pay your rent could have been put into a JOB!!!!
First of all when you file Bankruptcy you know when you filed you know the attorney name and have the information available because you have been providing this information to all of your creditors. If you don't pay the trustee, your bankruptcy will be dismissed and all of your creditors will begin the collections process again on all accounts. Period. Advice: to to work and stop trying to beat the system and be productive citizens.
I am 18 years old and this is so much motivation for me. I personally have been fortunate enough for my mother's upbringing and to live in a stable house but the thought of being kicked out of my house due to being late and unproductive is a nightmare. You either work hard in this world or this is the outcome. Sad but so real
First of all you are on the outside looking in, people make mistakes stuff happen! Don’t judge a situation like this because your never know where life will lead you !🙄
@@Deniseeee84 I wasn't judging them at all though I understand not everyone has perfect outcomes in life and things never go as plan. At the end of the day, you either have the money or you don't 🤷
They're decent people. However, when you fail financially there's no excuse. It's heart wrenching when you have to get out and have no place to go.
I legit thought he was talking to a woman until he turned the camera on him.
I was listening from the next room and I was certain that this was a heavy set woman with a house dress on. I was shooketh when I realized that wasn't the case. Lol
It's gotta be really tuff to do this job in some cases..This was a beautiful home, obviously well taken care of with decent people living there, it's sad...edit: I'm sure the man doing the eviction takes NO Pleasure in doing this...but unfortunately if you don't pay your bills this happens, and I get it, people have problems and it tough out here in this world..IM struggling to make my payments every month..I pray for the homeless
That's what you call living beyond your means when you got something you can't afford.
I been here. My first apartment I was there almost two years and kept job hopping so I missed rent and got behind. I moved in with my grandma for started going to school for my phlebotomy license. I had 4 thousand left on my old lease but a collection company called me to settle for 800 but I only had 200 and they took it and took it off my credit and sent a letter stating the debt was closed out. I been in my apartment for close to 6 years . I only moved in with my grandma for 3 months but I was hustling to get out and back in my own spot.
That’s a blessing $200 payment instead of $4k
