33rd comment gets pinned. To sum up, the "Whip" effect is the fastest and easiest way to do this transition but it doesn't give you many way to adjust it. The push effect with a directional blur on an adjustment layer is a nice compromise to give you control of the effect. To get the best manipulation of motion and blur then you would want to overlap the clips and use the transform effect with adjust the shutter angle and bezier between your keyframes.
Dude that intro 🤔thought I’d clicked off the video and I was in a commercial.
This video is so helpful, thanks Javier!
Super useful! I accidentally followed an older tutorial that complicated things so much unnecessarily, so this is great, thank you!!
This was exactly what I needed! Thank you so much Javier. I'm sure this is going to improve my videos a tonne. Subscribed 👍
Great tutorial, Javier! I like your friendly, easy-to-understand delivery!
Thanks! I tend to find simple transition templates online, but it feels a lot better knowing how to do it within premiere.
Thanks bro, this was super helpful !!!!! Appreciate it.
This is actually going to really help improve the quality of my videos, thank you !!
yup me too
Love your videos! Awesome! Thank you!
Keep the videos coming! Love your style of tutorials
Thank you Ryan!!
thank you so much for this tutorial!
Muy buenos tutoriales! se aprende de una manera amena.
thank you for this tutorial man
Excellent! I'm re-learning Premiere and there are some tricks in it now that CS6 didn't have.
Always learning something new. Thanks for another great video!
amazing
Pretty cool!
thank you bro
Awesome comprehensive info. Love the 4 ways. I definitely need #4 for the control.
I am adding in an adjustment layer the length of the transition with directional blur at 250, and it adds another nice whip pan look. I just keyframe 0 at the beginning, 250 at the fastest point of the motion, and then 0 to end. Easy-eased.
Question: When I add 180-360 motion blur, it seems like the sample rate is too low. Doesn't look creamy enough, I even see lines in some places. Is there a way to increase the sample rate like in After Effects?
Thankyou 😊
thanks
This looks great. Now just let me watch this 17 more times so I can figure out what the hell you are talking about ;-)
My shutter angle was bugged for some reason so I put an adjustment layer with directional blur. A mix between the second and the third form. It looks cool.
Transform Effect = After Effect window :)) _ great tut vid! also looks like with the transform effect there's no darkening of the frame border which always ruined the directional blur. I'm def. going to use that one THANKS!
Love from Mars...
once i created a non linear custom curve for the upper layer how can i copy it reversed for the bottom one so that they stick side by side??
I’ve seen this animation on a photo, is there any way you can make a tutorial on how to do that? I can’t figure it out.
Hi, can you please tell us, how did you make the text spacing animation (kerning) which you used from 0:25? (without After Effects?) Or there is no way to animate it, without after? THX
Yeah this is the next video, right Javier? Looks cool. I need to play more about with text and animation or buy some presets.
When I add the push transition there is black space between the two clips as the transition is happening. Any chance you would know how to fix that?
Nice
First.
When changing velocity of one clip, how do you get the exact same velocity on the next clip, is it a simple copy paste?
Cmd+c to copy, then right click next clip and “paste attributes” and make sure all the right parameters are selected to get the exact same velocity.
@@JavierMercedes I knew it was something like that, for some reason I couldn’t copy paste correctly, thank you for responding on a 3 year old video, much appreciated!
Love 💕 from Kerala ♥️♥️ India
Ayyyy thank you 🙏
@@JavierMercedes make a travel video about kerala😁😁😅😅
🙂

I honestly don't get why adobe doesn't implement interpolation settings into all transitions. Instead of spending minutes on making stuff nicely easy in and out, it could be 1 click.
Yes. This comment so yes. Life would be so much easier.
@@JavierMercedes I'm giving DaVinci a go, could be a great alternative to Premiere.
