But why is the rum always gone?
I fall asleep to this every single night. It is crazy. I don't usually fall asleep to anything, but this, this puts me out like a light

Look, i use these in my D&D campaign to add some nice ambient sounds/music... Dude, my players LOVE it, because they say it immerses them deeper into the world than just talking about it would have.. Keep it up, we love it!
Also, i dont upload videos of the game at all, and it's 100% private use between myself and the players.

D&D is Dungeons and Dragons. It's a tabletop game that involves alot of role playing.
I came looking for these types of videos because I'm running a pirate's of the Spanish Main game. Nice to see I'm not the only GM trying to immerse his players in the game world!

Works great if the ship your players are on have a big crew, and dont want JUST ambient sound, but ambient work music too.

those squeaks were most likely rope being pulled, keeping the sails steady
pullies spinning on their heads. they spin freely at the top, sails are most likely at half mast, theres some baggage.

roustabout kinsella I can still enjoy it for something other than sleep. I find it's an especially useful tool for setting the atmosphere while writing so I will not "go away"
+Killing Clowns There a many pirate ship ambiance videos on UA-cam and I believe they help thousands of us to sleep.I am an X RN sailor and the sound of a ship in a storm is strangely enough relaxing for most of us.It's the same with thunder storms and howling winds.Nature sounds are very relaxing for the majority of us.Try a babbling brook or rain on a tin roof or glass roof.They are the sounds of nature and very relaxing.Maybe you have some sort of problem.If so I am sorry.
With a raging storm you’d think you hear more rain or thunder or wind or crashing waves but you more or less got a ship sailing on pretty gentle water

No. This actually happens a lot. Musicians will take sound effects from youtube and put them in their songs thinking it's harmless. What happens though is that they eventually copyright their song and the effect they added ends up copyrighted along with it. The original creator of the effect then gets a copyright claim that he is violating the songs copyright. It's ridiculous. Its a huge hassle for both the sound effect owner and the song writer.
Thanks for asking though. Many musicians just do it anyway thinking its harmless and it ends up coming back to bite them.
