As a father, I would be very proud of Anna for being the person she is. Her chess skills are just an addition. So I congratulate Juan Manuel and Pia on their fantastic success 😉
For those wondering what happened to the eval bar at the end ! At 9:22 I've just looked it up, with engine because it's really not simple ! The best move for black (and only winning move) was Bc2 ! And in the game after Rf2 it's equal if white finds Rb8+ Kf7 Rb2 The check is important because the king on f7 blocks the bishop from coming back to e8 and h5. And the rook on g2 defends the knight on e2 AND prevents the bishop from rerouting by controlling both c2 and b5 ! The knight is pinned and white can't allow the bishop to pressure it or it will be lost ! Also there is a point to make about Rb8+ Be8 ( black can try this to force the rook out of play) Rxe8 Kf7 Rb8 Rxe2 Qf1+ Kg6 Rb1, white rooks comes back just in time and it's also an equal endgame 😂😂 That's because of that incredible defense that Bc2 first was the only winning move ! Going to play Bd3 and Rf2, white is defenseless (has to lose a piece, or get mated at some point)! Even it's not that simple there too ! Very interesting position, you can still analyse this on your own if interested !

@@maximepoca9396 Thanks! I did think of Bc2, but then got stuck with the follow-up. If the black rook was moved, I was worried about perpetual checks from the white rook, then if the white knight moved, the white queen might continue the perpetual checking, but I didn't realise that Rb2 would stop the queen moving.

If I am not mistaken, Anna, Errr, Ms Cramling, ~ Hello ~. There are no less than eight seemingly very interested, at least very attentive, young men focusing in on this game. Anna, I am serious here, What Game are you playing???? HMMM?? Oh OK, Pia is there. Well I suppose so. And all the fancy work with your Queen. Anyway. Thanks for sharing all of this. Always a better chess player with the lessons from you and your mother. Thank you. New Hampshire.
Ethan seems like a good guy.
Great win! Really liked the way that you first set him up with the queen check to get his king in the corner. Ethan seems like a really good guy.
The look of satisfaction for Anna's win from Pia was really nice.

"The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry" GG!
Oh Ethan, "Welcome to the family son!"
Mama bear just chomping at the bit as Anna keeps the conversation going and going 😂
I guessed two moves before they happened. It feels fun to get the basics. Not clueless anymore. 🎉😅
Mom looks proud.
Anna brings out the best in people!
Nice game. Ethan seems really nice! He was disappointed with his mistake. Pia smiling proudly - LOVE IT!
Happy I found ba4 when the 2300 didn’t. Was also looking at the transpositions with rf2
I can't believe it, I saw that bishop sacrifice to the queen before Anna actually made the move!!! lol
Speechless, it’s just so beautiful.
Congratulations Anna !
The Ethan killer
Stiletto high heel to the heart.
A3 costed him
Shout out to Tyrion Lannister 0:45

I like how you set that up.
He looks like Eric Hansen plus a bit of Jackie Chan
He was the guy whose playing your mom some time ago, you called him good in that video.
To be fair, Ethan is a scary name for you!
French defense by transposition and a pawn up. Good effort though.
Anna is so disarming and charming
go Anna go Anna!
What is the date of this match?
An incredible game, almost with Beth Harmon vibes over it. I nearly expected Anna to sit munching on chocolate pralines after the game. 😄
Hello, Anna! ❤
Did I see a small tattoo?
🎉

Button that sweater!
Ethan wasn't wearing a sweater.
