Just for everyone's knowledge, I know there is no November 31st, so you can interpret this two ways:
1. Capcom made a mistake when creating the document or,
2. It demonstrates George Trevor's deteriorating mental state as he slowly died from starvation and thirst.
I prefer the latter because it's a cool subtle detail to Trevor losing his sense of time.
Additionally, I now know that the bomb used to destroy Racoon City was not nuclear. That was clearly a mistake on my part.

No worries! Overall the video was very very accurate! Made all sense! I remember I used to play this game a lot when I was in middle school, especially I enjoyed collecting the info and reading them. 👍

The Trevor backstory has to be one of the saddest in video game history. There is no happy ending. No silver lining. Just horror.
One of the few people involved in Umbrella's dealings who actually wasn't a complete monster. He just liked building secret agent houses.

I was 7 years old in 96 when this released on PS1 and my brother was 10..My brothers best friend had a wealthy family and he would always come over and spend the night on weekends..He would always have a new game his parents bought him and enjoyed every minute of it..He got Resident Evil for Christmas and when he came over he immediately pulled it out and said we had to see how scary this game was..I didn't think anything of it until the cutscene of the zombie biting Kenneths head off appeared and the zombie turned around facing the camera..I knew it was something different and was terrified, but I was so intrigued and invested..My brothers friend said he couldn't make any progress and had no idea what to do..I asked if I could try and he was glad to let me have a go at it and they went outside to play basketball..They came back inside over an hour later and I was at Richard and attempting to find the serum..My brother and his friend couldn't believe I actually progressed and his friend ended up spending the night..to my surprise the next morning his parents showed up early to pick him up and he came to my room and said Merry christmas while handing me Resident Evil... I couldn't believe it and will never forget how happy and grateful I was..He basically told me i knew what i was doing in the game a hella alot more than him and to keep up the good work

I honestly tear up and cry when I sit back and think of the fondest of memories and nostalgia..It’s hard to explain because it’s a mix of happiness and sad tears lol..I get extremely happy and overwhelmed with emotion, but at the same time I get sad because I miss the innocence of being a kid and not even knowing what stress or depression was..Computers & the dial up internet were all secondary and were never a priority..worries were Homework, chores, then off to play outside until my mom would yell time for dinner like clockwork..Then we would sit down together as a family and eat my moms amazing cooking, while telling each other about our day..Then it was off to whatever game I was annihilating at that point in time lol..There’s no words to convey how much I miss those times being much simpler and humanity as a whole didn’t take everything so serious and folks didn’t act like they knew everything..I’m actually getting emotional as I type this and the nostalgia is overwhelming..Time to chill out with my coffee and reminisce..I Thank everyone once again for their kind words
The game Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut came out for the Playstation 1 in 1998. I am unsure if that is the year when I got the game. I do know this was the first time playing the game. I was 14 in 1998 so I was at least that age when I first played the game. For the longest time whatever Resident Evil I was currently playing was my favorite. This changed with Resident Evil 6. After that this idea that the current game I was playing being the best went away. To date I have played 14 different Resident Evil titles. It was not until years after I had the game that Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut became my definitely favorite game in the series. I was beating the game 3-4 times a day on average for 3-4 months.
Thinking of George running around those dark empty mansion grounds trying to solve his way to freedom is somehow more terrifying than having to run through it while the dead infested it. Just dark empty halls with nothing but your own thoughts and fears to listen to.
On the bright side there's no zombies yet
I feel so much for Lisa. She grew into something creepy, but still so tragic.😢
She no doubt has one of the saddest stories in Resident evil history

That bald zombie eating someone was the first zombie I saw when i was 8. I still remember how terrifying it was.😂
That’s funny. When I was 8 the first one I played was RE3 original. And my first taste of horror was Nemesis killing Brad. Needless to say I didn’t beat the game until I was 28 and it made the child me happy. I played RE1 after that at 8 years old too thinking it would be less scary and that zombie scene made me shut it off lmao
Gave me nightmares all summer that. Felt like it was next to my bed. I was pouring sweat lol. I think that and Silent Hill shit me up as a kid.

Damn. We always knew Spencer was a cold and cruel bastard but I'd only gotten the barest details of what happened with the Trevors before. What a terrible man to use these innocent people.
This is fantastic. This is what the netflix series should be about. Focusing on the npc pov as they deal with the situation, writing what is happening, hoping for someone to see their notes. Ending the season when the game starts.

This is very good! The way you presented the story of the Spencer Mansion is very interesting and touches on how tragic and horrifying it is. Also, I like when the voice actors read the in-game documents. It made the story feel more real. Good job to all of you who made this.
Imagine needing the bathroom but you gotta through a dozen death defying traps and puzzles just to find the key to the bathroom door😅😂

The only drawback I see to the end of George Trevor is that when you jump down into that hallway where his tomb is you don't find his body. It's likely they had umbrella staff go up in remove his body after he died. I just think it was an interesting thing that you never find his body in the game

This has got to be one of the best, if not the best Resident Evil documentary I've ever watched. Especially on the voice actors, where for a moment I felt like they were the real characters going through the incident. Can we hope to see more Resident Evil lores like this? :)
Thanks for the vid. Brings back memories. This game came out when I was 4 or 5. I got scared and thought a zombie would come out my closet and eat me. My mom told my dad to stop playing the game in front of me, but then I wanted to watch it once I was told zombies weren't real. Been obsessed with the series every since. Crazy how time flies.

Do you mean REmake? I got the original for Christmas when i was 11 and still remember the Cerberus jump scare at the start like it was yesterday. I didn't have a memory card at the time either so i had to keep playing the start until the shops opened a few days later to get one.

Crazy that nobody's made a film truthful to this terrifying lore - the story of the spencer mansion is akin to the original night of the living dead with more behind it & a fan-base already there for it yet nobody has done it justice yet...
The way everything was edited and presentrd, it reminded me of the old series "Unsolved Mysteries". Very chilling and captivating, it held my attention to the very end. 👍
How people can't make a good RE movie adaption with so much lore and material to hand is beyond me!
Yeah my opinion on this subject never goes well with old time horror Resident Evil fans.
It’s simple to me the reason why no one can’t make a good movie adaptation, is because directors try to make a movie on the wrong part of Resident Evil, that’s why.
Everyone always wants to start with the events of Remake and I’m sorry but that is too horror heavy.
Sure it makes horror fans happy, but the huge problem is action sells, action brings in the box office numbers.
There needs to be a Resident Evil movie based solely on the events of Resident Evil 5 and maybe 6.
Guess what the events of 5 consists mainly of action.
I’m sure there will be someone that will grumble with my opinion, if not you, but I’m convinced a movie adaptation based on the events of Resident Evil 5, done well would make 400 to 500 million at the box office worldwide.

This could be a prequel to both zero and the first RE. Focused on the Trevor's demise and leading up to the outbreak at the mansion.
Must have done some work on the police station and parts of racoon city too, given the puzzles in re2 and 3
Also, great presentation, really sells how horrifying the Trevor's fates were.
I love the way you told the story. I've heard the stories before but i never get tired of hearing them. Honestly the scariest thing in my opinion is that somewhere in reality, experiments like these could actually be happening
They have clinical trials where they give people pills or whatever for compensation money. I don’t think it’s as deep as RE but I wonder if that messes with people mental and that’s why some people trip out in the streets mentally Ill damn near street zombies lol.

@professorwsgamingchannel I can only imagine the strain it did on her vocal cords, and not only the sound she really nailed that hysterical crazed banter and laughter, gave me chills. Thanks for creating this video, one of my all-time favorite franchise, I grew up with Resident Evil and seeing the lore being still discussed and appreciated to this day, is amazing. It really shows that games holds just as much history as a book or movie, people sat behind old computers and created art that we still love, it's beautiful 😌

Yeah personally I’m way more of a fan of the action Resident Evils 4,5,&6 and I still found this video interesting.

Trevor should've thought ahead and made an insurance policy that if anything happens to him and his family the plans of Spencer's mansion would be released to the media. So he got what he deserved for his stupidity. It's unfortunate what happened to Jessica and Lisa though they didn't deserve that

This was fantastic. Enjoyed the voice acting, some of them were creepy enough to make me feel uneasy listening to this in the dark lol. Felt like a true life crime documentary.

Someone needs to make a show or movie with all of this. It would be awesome to see how it all came about.
What i really like about older Resident Evil is that the plot isn't some extreme supernatural scenario, zombies are obviously not realistic but its just realistic enough to be scary without being over the top. The later games in the franchise where the antagonists are basically anime villains made the series lose a lot of its scare factor in my opinion. For example in RE1 Wesker is just some guy plotting behind the scenes, and in RE5 he has super powers and red glowy eyes.

Amazing, absolutely amazing. Brings me back to the very first day I got to play RE. My aunt worked for Sony’s development department in NYC, so I not only got PlayStation before it released in the States, I got RE a whole month before the game released! Although I’ve played every single RE game, there will never be any experience to me like playing thru RE1. There was absolutely NOTHING like it before it’s time, and it’s still absolutely insanely hard to top even these days. You captured the horrific vibe PERFECTLY, cheers! 🤤
