Cheers mate! :)
:) btw thanks you this i finally found out what equipment i wanted :) røde procaster, the arm, shockmount/popfilter ^_^
Thx
That's awesome knowing even people who are using professional setups are using audacity
audacity is extremely good for capturing audio over hours it's unique way of saveing audio files while recording tracks makes it possible to recover the tracks even in a crash or power outtake situation.
and that they're not that professional :) rode makes very good gear for the money, but for pro level some things should have been done differently
Awesome job everyone. Fully featured podcasting studio. #epic
Ray Ortega, thanks for the sending me here. I'd love a podcast setup like this! One day, who knows?! ;-)
Ray Ortega You are here too :)
Ricardo Mendes everywhere;)
Awesome!! Thats the dream right there
And the last element is the great aussie vibe you guys have in the room.
Man, the second you guys added in the foam, I heard the acoustic difference. I love it.
Amazing comeback after 4 years. Great job explaining the technical side (Ex: Mix Minus) and like you guys giving credit to other companies (Ex: Zoom with H5). I'm excited to see were this new updated show can go and I'm ready for more!
You guys are great. Thanks a lot for your video. It has very much inspired me to do what I do as further as my studio is concerned. Thankful for the power of social media. Keep up the good work.
please continue this serie
it's really nice to watch
You guys should really bring this back! I enjoyed these :)
Man this is great! Half a year ago I decided to purchase my first Rode microphone for my DSLR and boy was it a good purchase! Soon moving into my new studio and I will definitely get some Rode studio microphones!
What a great show! Going to use a few of those ideas in my edit suite for sure!
Omg I'm so happy they redid their entire set up for them!!!
I am trying to get started on doing my own podcast and what you've done in this video and posting it is just amazing I don't care about the people who said they don't like the video it is one of the best and most helpful videos I have seen so far on podcast set-up! EXCELLENT 👌👍 WORK
Wow, very helpful video on podcast equipment setup. Thank you :)
I follow you guys on my other UA-cam channel; I remember this video when it was posted. That is still my dream studio if you guys are looking to surprise a fan please surprise me. Even it's 3x's smaller I would be very happy. This video never gets old I so love it. Hope everyone is well on your end. Happy New Year. (I'm in NYC)
Glad to see a new episode for this awesome series! Job well done with this podcast studio.
I have really missed this series!
That looks like a dream! Well done!!
I’d like to see an updated version of this video with the Rodecaster Pro. It would be a lot...simpler, haha
Is that really you? Man you only have 1 like here!
I have my own home studio which I plan to make into a podcast thing just like what they have. Really gives me an idea of what should be in place. Thanks :) (y)
So glad Studio Rescue is back
and this year they release amazing RODEcaster pro that can handle all that in one device. I just love RODE!!!
Hey this is great guys - You should do an episode in Japan and get more RODE staff in it. Also more cats.
That is amazing! im pretty sure all viewers are like WoW I want that studio!
I do streaming and i wont need most of that stuff, but still i would enjoy such equipments.

Studio Rescue in Argentine? Its very necesary! Congrats for the video.
Can you do studio rescue more often, and what happened to Francis?
Great information from Ryan at RØDE Microphones on how to setup a studio for podcasting.
Also note that this recording was using Rode *Pin* microphones and Rodelink wireless kits.
#Podcasting #Audio
Drinking game: take a ahot everytime they say "mate"...you will be dead by the end of the video xD
Perfect option for anyone on a budget.
Great post guys - really nice setup too! 👊🏼
Great vid. Nicely done.
That's an incredible set up!
Fantastic work guys, great setup..
I wish you fellas would have mentioned the brand of the headphone amp you mounted to the desk.
Wow blown away by what Rode did for the boys at Radiio Hub. Now how much for the Varsity Jacket to go with all my Rode microphones? Time to come Rescue my Voice Over Studio and get it to Podcast level awesomeness for this radio veteran.
damn that is cool, i wanted to start a podcast too, but i don't have the money, AWESOME VIDEO and fabulous purple pattern
Those Varsity Jackets are the ticket
Wow! Come to México!! I´m from a little town in Guanajuato, i´m a radio host and want to start my podcast studio
How do you paste/glue the foam acoustics on the wall? I appreciate this kind of videos :D
+Sergio Rodriguez Belver (BEATTHECINEMA) The Auralex kits come with the adhesive strips to stick them up
+RØDE Microphones Alternatively, you can use 3M velcro strips so you can easily reposition/remove them if necessary.
+RØDE Microphones thank you so much!
+Sergio Rodriguez Belver (BEATTHECINEMA) Velcro strips are shit if you have a draft. Use self adhesive spray.
+Sergio Rodriguez Belver (BEATTHECINEMA) VELCRO :)...they use it on th other episodes of Studio Rescue (America) :)
As an amateur podcaster, this is pretty much my dream.
Woah!!! Awesome comeback!! Nice job! I can't wait to see more!...
Super dope setup
What make and model is the headphone amp? Very nice.... Great Studio! Great info!
This is so bad ass. Love the studio
Very cool thanks RØDE
looks like complicated kit but probably more so as it allows a lot of expansion as needed.
Please make a Professional Broadcast Microphone Headset ND, something like the Audio Technica BPHS 2 but with that same Rode sound in the new Rode Caster Pro mic
Awesome video! How much was spent in equipments?
beautiful work
You could have gotten rid of all the cables on top and used proper cable channelings for that below the table with a few holes though. And also shorter cables .
i want to build myselft a home studio and i will use for sure rode
Thats a sweet podcast setup!
Dear Francis! Please make a video about someone who needs his attic fixed. I'm wondering how to apply bass traps in a non box-like room.
I wonder where you got the idea for the RODEcaster pro... ;)
Definitely stole a few tricks from this video even in 2021 cheers guys.
This is a great setup, how ever, is the Zoom H5 used for recording all audio from the output on the ProFX16 ? So that means no audio will be recorded on Garageband or other similar audio recording software ? Is that in case of the computer crashes or something like that ?
I have a cable from my RCA output on the Mixerboard to the input on my Zoom H1. Thats how i record my podcasts.
Am in Kenya and used to follow your videos, did you stop to Rescue?
yeah, love this series. i have a studio that needs some fixing..... would be good
i actually have used an NT1a for years and an sm57.... but been crook for a couple of years so just starting up again.... gotts say the NT1a is the BEST mic i have ever used.... just awsome.
Podcasting gear has come a long way.
awesome videos guys! Love It
Bring back this series!
What was the headphone amplifier used in this?
I love the Rode Procaster!
guys got sorter really good :D
IM SO GLAD THIS IS BACK THANK YOU :D:D:D (please save my studio... seriously...)
Im addicted to this show. Im the CoHost of Buck The System in NYC. Id love to be someone that gets a rescue from you guys.
We are located in Rockaway Beach and we interview celebrities.
We are small, but, we are fortunate to know a few people and have some great guests, but we have been having alot of technical issues.
We converted my basement bedroom into a studio.
How do i go about applying for a rescue?
Wow that was amazing what the cost getting this
Will like to have such plan to set up such
Can it been shipped 🚢to lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬 and teach me how to set it up
Thanks 😊
Rode Studio Rescue pleeeeease, come to my home studio. I need your help!!! Your work is fantastic, great! The transformation provided by you in the podcast studio (RADIIO) was awesome!! Come on, come to Rio de Janeiro - Brasil, come to my V.O. studio!!!!
is Rode actually proud of that cable management? Clean up that table yo
Was wondering why they didn't go for the Rode Procaster II .. then I noticed the year.
Does the RodeCaster Pro replace that massive plug in board thing now?
I have the Pro caster and love that mic!
looks good only one suggestion I know it is a old video but cable management works wonders and the rode guy should have known better.
Now place the ad for the sound engineer/tea maker !!
oh my gosh! i wished i would have all of this equikements
What song is that at the beginning?
Nice job.
What of a Job. Awesome
You guys are great
Positive energy
Hey, Everyone! Can anyone tell me what kind of headphone amp are they using?
Are there new episodes of studio rescue coming up?
COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GOT ALL OF THAT????? WHEN ARE YOU GUYS COMING TO SOUTH AMERICA MAN??? LOL!!!!! A MACKIE, RODE MICS, ACUSTIC PANELS, NIIIIIICEEEE!!!!!!
Stunning! is all i can say!
awesome!!! Hi I don't know if you can give us some help here in Venezuela. With all the troubles here, there are not really many people doing podcasts and we are trying to do so but don't know where or how to start.
awesome set up!!
What happened to Francis Buckley?
It took you four years for another episode and you get rid of the main guy?
I'd love to see Francis setting up a studio with two flat screen monitors. I have that issue with positioning my big speakers.
That would be nice!
top quality stuff guys.
You are awesome .
Hi there, What did you use to attach the JK Audio THAT-2 to the back of the telephone box. I have a similar set up and would like to have a cleaner desk. Cheers
Good job mates
I've watched this video several times.. The big question I need to have confirmed, is with this Mackie proFX16 you can record two mics from the mixer SEPARATELY into Audacity on different tracks? And also, you can use you a Zoom H5 to backup on separate tracks as well. Am I seeing this right? I want a slightly lesser version of this setup. I don't need multiple phone and Skype Lines but I do want ONE line I can either Skype someone or call them on the phone (and be able to record)
Great video. What headphone amp was used?
this is amazing
What's the name of the headphone amplifier?!?!?!?!?!? That you used in these video
I would love to know!
its...
*MATE*
I'm buying a house and moving into it in May 2020. There's a TuffShed in the back that I'd like to turn into a recording studio. It's a little bigger than 9'x11' inside. I have several years of experience as a hobby-level music recordist and voice actor, but want to make this space totally professional. It would be GREAT if your Studio Rescue team would come out and make it happen. I'm in southeast Kern County, California, about an hour north of Los Angeles. We could make a super-great video together. LLAP!
