      My father bought a new '28 Ford roadster for $600.00. He said it was red with black fenders. @@littleredhousehome

    Fun video! Congrats on the successful trip. The best moment was when you said 'I love this car' then repeated it. It really is a wonderful machine! 94 years old, correct? I've rewatched several of Paul's videos - I bet you could do the same to the brake adjustment videos, including his latest, then be ready to fix those brakes yourself!

      Thank you so much, we keep trying to improve, both our cars and how to use them, and our videos. Come back again sometime we will have more. Cheers.

      Thanks. one day I would love to come out to you and bring the car. You could do your thing on it, I could learn, and we could both get some great6 footage for our channels.

    Thanks for the video, it was awesome. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. I'm trying to get my son interested in my A truck, but maybe some day. You are making memories for a lifetime.

      That is exactly it. My son can look back at these videos and not only remember but maybe someday he needs and answer after I am gone and he might find something in there. Thanks and Cheers

    Great video - congrats! Waiting about 1.5 to 2 seconds after putting in the clutch before shifting will help avoid grinding gears - shifting slowly makes a big difference. I have a ‘31 Tudor Deluxe. Love your cricket turn signal indicator sound.

    Love your car, it's a peach. I've got a '28 Phaeton and drive it wherever I want to go, except into Houston. I've been 250 miles one way. It was a long, hot day but still lots of fun. Take care and enjoy.

    Awesome fun , try to give alittle more time between shifts. I think you'll have a better shift without the grind.

    Very. Ice. You should get at least 150 miles from a tank of gas. If it starts to sputter, saw the wheel left and right, and you’ll get some more.

      Yes thanks, she is running very well, so well I am almost worried. we went 84 miles and the gage did not move much, but I know the gage works, so we are running g well and lean.

    Very nice video ! I'm surprised by the gas mileage you're mentioning in the beginning, I've had no problem driving 100 to 150 miles on a tank in a Model A, 40 miles would mean you're doing around 4 MPG given the fact the gas tank holds about 10 gallons. Model As should typically do anywhere from 12 to 15Mpg. Have you looked if you have any fuel leak ?

    • @littleredhousehome
      @littleredhousehome  2 місяці тому +1

      Yes you are correct. We had a very bad carburetor, and had just fixed that as we went on that drive. We get great mileage now. Cheers!!

      At some points we were doing 65 right at the speed limit. It goes prety good for an old car.

    2024 less 1929 = 95 years old aproximately ,not 97 years old but it is a very nice car.
