- We finally get to take our 1929 Model A for a long ride. What fun, what a day. Come along with us.
A big thank you to Paul Shinn @ModelA for all the information he shares. We made very good use of it. - Авто та транспорт
Very nice to see a model a owner who appreciates the car for its history and simple beauty
Plus just the fun of driving it. Thanks for stopping by. I will post more videos as we first creat the garage, then we will start on the cars. Cheers
My father bought a new '28 Ford roadster for $600.00. He said it was red with black fenders. @@littleredhousehome
Fun video! Congrats on the successful trip. The best moment was when you said 'I love this car' then repeated it. It really is a wonderful machine! 94 years old, correct? I've rewatched several of Paul's videos - I bet you could do the same to the brake adjustment videos, including his latest, then be ready to fix those brakes yourself!
Thank you so much, we keep trying to improve, both our cars and how to use them, and our videos. Come back again sometime we will have more. Cheers.
Excellent work, men. Endorsed! Keep it up.
Thanks. one day I would love to come out to you and bring the car. You could do your thing on it, I could learn, and we could both get some great6 footage for our channels.
Thanks for the video, it was awesome. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. I'm trying to get my son interested in my A truck, but maybe some day. You are making memories for a lifetime.
That is exactly it. My son can look back at these videos and not only remember but maybe someday he needs and answer after I am gone and he might find something in there. Thanks and Cheers
Beautiful car I enjoyed the ride Thanks for sharing
Than k you.
Great family video. Memories are priceless!! Thank you for sharing with us. 😎🇺🇸
Thank you for stopping by. We love that car, and it is the most fun to take out and see how people react.
Great video - congrats! Waiting about 1.5 to 2 seconds after putting in the clutch before shifting will help avoid grinding gears - shifting slowly makes a big difference. I have a ‘31 Tudor Deluxe. Love your cricket turn signal indicator sound.
Thank you so much. The car is so much fun to drive. Cheers
I smiled the whole trip. Excellent! 🙂
Thank you, we hope to make more fun videos of the 1929 and the other cars in times to come.
Love your car, it's a peach. I've got a '28 Phaeton and drive it wherever I want to go, except into Houston. I've been 250 miles one way. It was a long, hot day but still lots of fun. Take care and enjoy.
Thank you, I have to work up the courage to go that far lol.
Awesome fun , try to give alittle more time between shifts. I think you'll have a better shift without the grind.
If it's not whined out as tight
@@garyaxsom1815 Will do, cheers
Very. Ice. You should get at least 150 miles from a tank of gas. If it starts to sputter, saw the wheel left and right, and you’ll get some more.
Yes thanks, she is running very well, so well I am almost worried. we went 84 miles and the gage did not move much, but I know the gage works, so we are running g well and lean.
I have a 1929 ford model a roadster pickup truck
You should post some pictures. Cheers
Nice cars
Thank you.
Molded brake linings eliminate the howl when you're braking!
Yes I have to do that. Where can I get some?
@@littleredhousehomeMost Model A supply companys have molded lingins availabe. I got the linings only from Synders
@@markzimmer232 Thank you, once we start working on the cars I will have that fix on the list. For n ow we are still focused on the garage. Cheers
Um, 1929 was 94 years ago, not 97…
Wow, my car is so young then!!!! LOL, thanks, happy thanksgiving.
Very nice video ! I'm surprised by the gas mileage you're mentioning in the beginning, I've had no problem driving 100 to 150 miles on a tank in a Model A, 40 miles would mean you're doing around 4 MPG given the fact the gas tank holds about 10 gallons. Model As should typically do anywhere from 12 to 15Mpg. Have you looked if you have any fuel leak ?
Yes you are correct. We had a very bad carburetor, and had just fixed that as we went on that drive. We get great mileage now. Cheers!!
the 1960 vw beetle only had 36 hp.
:)😂
How fast were you going on the freeway? Looks like you were keeping up.
At some points we were doing 65 right at the speed limit. It goes prety good for an old car.
2024 less 1929 = 95 years old aproximately ,not 97 years old but it is a very nice car.
Yes, somebody else also said that. Sorry about that, look at it this way in another couple of years the video will be right. Cheers
Its 1929......thats 94 or 95......not 97
Yes I am stupid
