Oh I smile alright, but for different reason. People of my generation recognize these horn sound from the ps2 mafia game, haven't touched the game for almost 2 decades but that horn sound still rings a bell
Beautiful Model A, there's nothing like owning a Model A, they are fun to drive and easy to maintain, I've owned 3, have a 1931 TUDOR, hope you enjoy your COUPE, good luck and good health my friend, THANKS for sharing Beautiful Car!
I can relate to your story. When I was diagnosed with cancer for the second time (unrelated to the first!) I retired and bought a Model A Deluxe Roadster. Working on it and especially driving it has been great for my spirit. Hard to take life too seriously with 40 horsepower and a horn that blasts a-OOO-ha!
I've got a close twin to this car! Unfortunately, lots of life has happened the past several years so it's just been sitting. This makes me want to get back to it, thanks for sharing!
I had a 1937 Chevy 1/2 ton with white walls and all original reddish brown, had vacuum wipers and cranked out windshield, had the 6 cylinder with 3 on the floor, lock down tail gate guard, battery in passenger side floor and ran 65 but liked 40, sure wish I never sold her, Had the old horn and had the old grind noise from gears whining, Double clutching is 100% or you can destroy these transmission, clutch to take out, Repeat clutch to put in. Enjoyed your video, best wishes to you
I'm turning 59 in October and getting ready to get my first model a, actually trading my Audi tt convertible for one that's all original restored, saving it from being chopped up into a hot rod 😁👍
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video and my family owns an original Studebaker lark V8 4 door with black exterior and red upholstery V8 engine 3 spd manual gearbox on the steering column again it has a manual choke no ac am/fm radio manual windows
Thats a pretty convincing film filter you had there! Only problem with it was the picture quality was too high for 1930 but still, i thought it was real footage until i saw the modern hipster glasses 😂
Note:. When the fuel gauge shows empty, there is a 0 on the gauge. Old timers called that zero a "BIRD'S EYE". 🤪🤪🤪🤪 Another note. He had the "COWL" lights wired up for Turn Signals. Most production cars didn't have turn signals until about 1950? maybe. Some states require turn signals on all cars so this may be the reason. . .
Nice Model A. I did notice that the engine is only running on 3 cylinders. You can hear that in the uneven beat of the exhaust. Probably a fouled plug. If you fixed that you would have 25% more horsepower and be able to climb that hill with ease and perhaps even achieve the advertised top speed of 65 MPH. :)
The problem with Model A's are they are just too expensive. No kid can even afford a Model T any more, let along a Model A. Some of them cost 3x a house trailer. Hot rodders destroyed them chopping them up, and collectors drove up the prices of whatever was left in the barn. I got my spoked wheel fix on, by going with cruiser motorcycles instead.
Very nice car but get rid of the annoying thumping etc background noise/music?Do you get paid to put that background noise in? Can you not do anything without music/noise?
You mean all new passenger vehicles, and honestly, really, just brand new cars. That’s why we have so many trucks and SUVs on the road. The industry couldn’t meet the emission requirements set by the government, but trucks and SUVs were exempt, so they pushed consumers into getting those instead. But there will still be gas powered model As, 20th century combustible engine cars. You just may not have a gas station at every street corner like you do today. Supply will meet the dwindling demand. I already have to drive several towns over if I want ethanol free fuel.
It's on us to Stopp political and ideological histery, stupidity. Enough is enough, we, the people are the sovereigns and they are trying to impress and convince us to elect them. Let us show them, it is on us and not on them to give direction.
My grandfather and his brother bought a new Ford A around 1930. It was one of the first automobiles in the city of Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
If you hear that horn and it doesn't bring a smile to your face... something is very wrong with you. Proud owner of a 1931 Model A tudor sedan.
Brought a smile to our face when he pushed the horn for us! Model A owners seem to have a brotherhood
aWOOOOOOOOga

Thank you! This was a fun video to make.

Looks like a great car. They're loads of fun. And the more you drive them, the better they get. Drive it a lot and have fun. Good luck.
Nice car. 3:17 In germany we call this seat "Schwiegermuttersitz". That means mother-in-law seat.😂

I would love to have one
Hope You are well. I'm starting to go down the rabbit hole, myself. I'm thinking I would like to have a Model A. They just look like so much fun.
My dad had a 30 coupe when we were growing up. Similar paint scheme too
From the factory they all had black fenders plus 2-3 other colors. Some were all black.
I wanna own one of these one day, they look so fun and reliable!

You are living life, my friend. 👍she’s pretty. Better than any 2000+ car today. They won’t be around in 90 years.🇺🇸❤️
I have a friend with one. It is a surprisingly modern driving experience.
Ohh God, this is my dream ! I love Model A.

Lovely

Great video 👍 Hope you're doing well!!
I agree with you the model AI have had now for 9 years as my salvation and my sanity. God bless you, you're in our prayers.
Cool guy, cool car.
John Boy had one in the Waltons
Greatvideo! New sub
"You don't see many 90 year old cars on the road these days.", I see one every time i go into my garage. Love the Model A, mines a 31 Tudor Deluxe
I love to get it running for me 💕💕❤️💖❤️

I want a vintage car so bad
Back when car looked beautiful
I really really want a Model A pickup. Kind of hard to find in Europe and expensive too.
Nice Model A.

If you haven’t seen it yet - you need to watch Vice Grip Garage’s video on the model A.
Einfach nur geil.
Das ist noch Qualität.
Der heutige ganze Mist hält nicht so lange und schon garnicht der ganze Elektroscheiss.
A model A... Ahooga!!
Our favorite feature!

nothing like a deluxe coupe in my opinion.
I have a 30 couple also 😇🙏
You actually dont HAVE to double clutch, many back then learned to "float gears"...now basically only big rig truckers in manual trucks do this
It would look better with black wall tires
Very nice car but get rid of the annoying thumping etc background noise/music?Do you get paid to put that background noise in? Can you not do anything without music/noise?
Sadly soon all gas cars will be banned!!!

Cute!
Today's cars stink.
