I think putting multiple games in a single video, especially when those first wouldn't be worth showing on their own, is actually great format for this challenge. I absolutely loved it, the more chess the better!
Wait that pawn was not hanging? Since the queen was both threatning that pawn and the king if you took with Bishop and he defend it, he would just lose the game by just capturing no the king no?
4:11 Ignoring the enemy king: you could pre-block your queen from your bishop with the duck, meaning that the piece that captures the pawn would be defended by the time your turn came around, since the duck *HAS* to move.
Can tell the opponent in the last game didnt really know what he was doing. Continually putting the duck on E7 even though the black bishop is already blocked in and the queen can just move to d7 for development
That... is an interesting idea. But it would interrupt the rating climb so he'd need to use an alt account for it, so he'd be up against beginners again.
I don't believe that there was any quick checkmate (after taking the pawn with check the king would have 2 squares it could move to but only 1 of them could be blocked).. but he was losing a pawn and a rook for free with almost all of his pieces being in horrible positions (his king would've been forced onto the square next to the queen which isn't very safe for the king and also prevents the queen from moving without needing a duck).
@@asdfqwerty14587 Remember, the duck can only move after a piece moves. As Simp pointed out, none of White’s queen-side pieces could move in that position, and the Knight can’t be taken. The only move White had was to move their King to D1. Simp’s Knight would then be able to move to F2 and place the duck on E1, preventing the King’s escape.
@@JJ_R The king could escape because there were 2 spaces that the king could move to and only 1 duck. The king could either move next to the queen or back to its original square, and you cant block both of them.
@@JJ_R I mean the space where the duck is right at the end of the video. Once the duck moves it will no longer be on that space, and then the king can move to that space (or if he places the duck there again then the king can move back to its original space). EDIT: Also, it occurs to me that the opponent also has the option of moving his king and then placing the duck on the king's original space, which would always allow the king to move back (as you must move the duck, you can't pick the same square it's already on), which makes the position slightly less bad for them (but is still losing a pawn and a rook for free).
I can't tell if he is bad at chess or he is Eric Rosen who pretends to be low elo. Some moves and commentary were very suboptimal. Some were even acknowledged as suboptimal.

But if Bishop takes and then duck blocks the queen, then you can just take the king, no?
I shouted into the screen at that moment, i think that's correct
Pretty sure this is correct, was about to comment on it. He's better than his viewers tho.
yeah, Simp fails to acknowledge this.
I fail to see it. Can't the g pawn just block his queen?
If bishop takes, and duck occupies b4, queen can block with c2. Or king just sidesteps right.
4:13 You could have taken the pawn with the bishop. If he takes with queen and tries to block your queen with the duck, you can just take the king.
If he doesn't retake the bishop and plays g3 things'd get awkward tho
@@QuokkaWaka
You can just make sure they can't do that by putting the duck on g3.
@@QuokkaWaka
Then you'd just take queen with bishop, no?

Loving this duck chess evolution. What a fun series!
Absolutely amazing how you've managed to win 6 games in a row despite having only played one game. I need to learn this incredible technique.

if you're talking about 4:11 then yes, you're right
imho Duck chess is fun
well then, have a duck 🦆
we are eating good with this video which has multiple games of ducking

MORE DUCK CHESS PLEASE 🥺🥺🥺
This is the longest video of chess simp i have ever seen
They have been getting longer recently. I think he has discovered that you can make more money from those 🤔
These more competitive games are fun to watch. 100 elo chess is your bread and butter, but I hope I'm not alone in being down to see more like this.
Simp couldn't see a backwards move, actual 100 rated confirmed.
I love how they all just resign rather than play the game, either Simp is an absolute gigachad or he is just too annoying to play against

I like this format with ladder climbing. :)

You could've gone Qh4 and duck to g3, guaranteering the king capture on the next move
Duck chess, but you can only move the duck 1 square away from its current location.

4:12 Chess simp thinks his opponent is so powerful that he can sacrifice the king and it would still be a good move...
That was brutal!!
I don’t like how it is not proper as he has a extra piece I don’t know what it does so can not plan properly
I think your opponent saw the Checkmate in 1 (or is it 2?) with that last maneuver.
