I'm 46 years old this month. Just bought my first new skateboard in 25 years... ALL we had was street when I skated. We'd raid the new house construction at night sometimes to collect scrap wood to build launch ramps to kill our knees but that was about it. Schools were the best because we wouldn't get kicked out on weekends and after school. When somebody's older brothers were feeling cool, we'd load up and go skate street in Santa Cruz and go hit up the skate shops there. It's kinda nice to see some street.

FrogyProd this high school is Carlmont High School. I know cause my sis went there and I go to a school in the same district. One of nicest neighborhoods to cause it's in the hills.
I guess I was wrong its not really in the past. Just getting harder to do these days and kids are probably more wanting to skate parks. I duno thats what it seems like.
Yeh so shit. Also so many schools with awesome spots are now barb fenced off like jails and many spots with skate stoppers. If you smart about it you can still go street, just harder.
I was amazed to see this as well. I've skated there before, maybe four years ago or so. Heck, I took my SAT in a classroom right next to the spot at 14:44.
I get where you're coming from; Vinnie isn't top class best of the best. But the dude kills it way harder than most. So it's not as though Vinnie's not a beast.
