One time we had a break in and the cops pulled up when the guy was outside. So they literally caught the thief in the act, but he acted like this, so they left with no identification revealed. I was pissed. So you guys are missing the fact that this is private property and its the cops responsibility to protect private property. If you dont like it, then move on to public property or your own property.

With that said though, we live in a country that allows for freedom of movement without being harassed. No that's not the best way to handle that. A year ago I went out front of my work for a smoke. Cops where kicking some homeless out from the business next door. One cop starts pulling away and saw me. And he tells me to move along. I said what I'm on break, I work here. You move along. He didn't like that and threw his car in park and got out walking towards me. But lucky a co worker seen this and told my manager. She came out and said he does work here. That same night I was pulled over for some bullshit reason and got a ticket. It was clear retaliation.

Bro I literally got pulled over for 8 miles over and thought he was going to give me a warning. He said he cant because he had to make the monthly quota. They get bonuses writing tickets. They are after themselves most of the time. Now I'll admit there are many times they must be praised but a drastic amount of the time its for the quota.
Cops can not be the one who opens up a complaint of trespassing. So only the business or person responsible for the business can file a complaint. They cops cant SOLICIT a trespassing, meaning they can't ask the business do you want them trespassed from your business, thats against the law and a civil rights violation. The business would need to ask the cops, "I want him trespassed from here." If the cop SOLICITS anything like that in their use of chosen verbiage then file a lawsuit against the cops, you will win everytime. Unless the judge is stupid and then it has to go to the State Supreme Court and hopefully the State Supreme Court rules with the constitution or their just fecking with you cause they don't believe you will follow through till one of the courts gets it right.
