I used to work at a hyundai plant in West point and one payday i went to this gas station next to liquor store up the road and decided to go big or go home because everyone lately had been saying bigger tickets won more often, so i tried a couple of 25$ tickets and won 175 between the both, decided that was a good *start* and spent 25 more on all losers. Walked away at that point but still man what a day lol it was a fire weekend

@NerdorkNation the only game I’ve ever consistently beat I’ve tried to tell people that professional poker is not gambling in the sense that the world views technically sure but I’ve plaid Holdem since I was a kid my whole family is from Tennessee Pulaski to be exact they migrated to Vegas about 40 years ago and all of them did extremely well playing Holdem as job and though I didn’t stay on that path I played a lot and supported myself for a lot of years off of Texas holdem in my 20’s when I had a baby I put it on the back burner and took the steady check although the way things are today I’m not sure if I made the right choice I still play once in a while and I’m about 73% winner when I sit down those odds are always going to work for me the only thing is when you play no limit that 27% chance loss can cripple you but there’s so much involved money management is key live to play another day! It’s a lot of discipline and can even be very boring at times when doing it for a job as you will fold most of your cards pre flop if you know what your doing it’s a waiting game but when you finally get something to throw in the water and you see those fish dump there money into your pockets it’s a dope amine rush forsure ! Poker is a sport more like chess your just renting the table the house takes a little cut but the best chess player at the table is taken home the cash an when it comes to cards I can play the ish out of some chess! An it’s pretty simple math I can show you how I got the 73% winner but you have to play almost daily for about 3 to 6 months before the equation can form ! Buyin +number of hours played per day + amount of win / loss per day would be extremely simple and you’d be able to see if you could beat the game consistently over time I know a lot of break even players over time they don’t really win or loose but to me it’s almost as bad as loosing and you have to have the bank roll to take big hits every once in a while because it happens ! I saw people buy more then 3 in a row of any deck, I took a mental note of the corner sequential numbers, And finally iffff, I was sure those tickets were their losers. Co-workers wondered why I was digging in the trash bins outside by the gas pumps. I'll clock out, cause it's grounds for termination to gamble at work cause I'm responsible right... I never bought more then two cause if the first one was a loss then I go for the second... I have never ever seen 5 losers in a row. Usually the 4th was was that 1/4 winner of only getting your money back.... I always got happy when that fourth was a loser cause for whatever reason if I was lucky enough to snag a buy after four losses in a row it was always guaranteed of at least having my money back from my second buy from what is actually the fifth bought since the last win. If you see someone buy a few, it's always worth a little patience to wait and see if they stick around and check the trash after them... Look at the corner numbers and keep a mental note of the last one.... Look at the decks and ask what number is ' glittery camel two toe lucky catfish' on... Buy one scratch that number only in front of the cashier like just have them check it right away,,,, if it's a winner walk away even if it's a break even but your first one is a loser that's ok, Guaranteed your second buy or rather 'the fifth buy' (from the first known loser in a row) is and will be more then a 50\50 odds,,, more then a 3/4 odds,,,,, More to then a 4/4! Odds but is in my experience half the time I got my money back or more. 500 is my top win but I would never gamble with my odds being 1/4 that is like finding a robber and saying "Please, take, thank you may I have another?" If I'm going to meet a robber im making sure to catch him after he leaves the bank.
