Question..... so heat pump supports the interior heat of the vehicle , heat aircon, etc, but does the heat pump support the pre heating of the vehicle batteries at all ? Test drove car today so in a dilema as some forums in Europe state the heat pump is standard not an option. Also what is the expected range benefit for the heat pump please? Also the Skoda websites states "Heat pump for battery" The heat pump system helps to keep the battery at the optimum temperature to maximise driving range. which is contradictory to the Video presented, please can this be clarified by skoda?
Be aware that the heat pump does not work as promised by Skoda previously. In some cases, the range was even reduced with the pump on compared to off. Probably, it helps a little bit if it is really cold outside. Thus, Skoda even announced to refund €160 in Europe meanwhile.
Heat pump should be standard on all EV’s. The more efficient they are the better they are for the environment. This is the whole point of going electric. Government should force manufacturers to make it standard like a catalytic converter or DPF has become on more modern combustion vehicles.
In video they say Heatpump will warm battery 1h before departure and 30min the cupe will be heated. But when I try this the heatpump never start 1h before, always 30min before departure.
It would be more useful if you could quantify the additional range users can expect at UK winter (and high summer) temperatures.

Everything about enyaq in UA-cam is paying extra. Is there way to know have my enyaq a heat pump?
It should not be an option it should be standard.
The Leaf has had a heat pump for years. So it’s not new. Just saying!
If put heat pump onto car's as standard, manufacturer's will just add it to car's purchase prices!

It’s another add on in an overpriced car , it should come as standard. Last Skoda I will buy this was my 6th Skoda but no more.
What a load of shite. Think I will steer well clear of ev until its unavoidable. .... by which time you wont need to think about all this.... 🙄
