Possibly my Favourite.. :)
Love the sweets. This makes me want to explore the world more.
One Day buddy.. You'll get here too, Im sure, follow your heart..
Thank you for using me so much this video, it was all amazing.
Happy Mothers Day Michele🎈
And each time I looked down there was a tiny scoop missing.. Thank you Leslie XX
Very cool TV! Omg Steve, yummy on those desert's and look forward to recipes. Thank you for showing us the delicious treats!
Thank you Tammy, these are the Day I do feel lucky :o)
All these desserts look amazing! Loved the rounded waffle!
Yes, that was heaps of fun to make too Thanks...
There is nothing better on this world than coconut ice cream. Love it!! Wonderfull video Steve.
Thank you Ken..
Man they look so good!!! You've enjoyed some of the vietnamese deserts that I haven't tried yet and I am vietnamese! As a viet, we love the traditional creme caramel haha
Toasted coconut ice-cream looked delicious ! Gluten free doughnuts too looked tasty. looking forward to the recipe. Thanks Steve !
Thanks Anjali.. It was tough trying them all, you could see the pain in my eyes 🙃💖
Steve's Kitchen ohhh. So sorry 🤗🤗🌹🌹
Great video and style. Lots of substances and info, and keeping it real unlike some other food channels. Subbed
Thanks and Welcome..
This and your street food videos for Hanoi were really really interesting to watch! I'm headed to Vietnam this August, and I'll be staying in the Old Quarter of Hanoi for over a week, so I'm hoping to get out and try some of your suggestions.
You have a great time Kate, I would love to know how you go with the food tour.. Enjoy..
Steve 😋
thank you steve and michele for taking us with you amazing place;];];]
Thank you too Patty
I give you points for your effort to speak Vietnamese 😅😂
Thanks I always try to speak a little wherever I visit..
Yum they all look delishes. i would love to visit overseas.
The best sugar cane refreshment here is made with a lime squeezed between the cane. The lime juice really sooths the sugar.
Jorge Bizarro I work in a vietnamese restaurant and sugar cane juice is delicious!
Love Ice cream.... the yellow one is very similar to a popular Green Corn (not ripe) ice cream we make here in Brazil.
I have never had that, I suspect I would love it too. Thanks
I love the bubble waffles. Cam on Steve & Michelle :)
Cam On Marie.. I liked that too but I liked it all :o)
Add lime to the sugar cane juice. That’s how my husband usually gets it for me.
I miss eating hoa qua dam in saigon when i was little
Sweet video, thank you
Thanks..
Makes me want to try the coconut huge dessert
They were pretty good, I'll do the recipe I think.. :o)
They all look delicious, bit I'm going with the soft-serve coconut high rise, lol.
Yes it was pretty impressive.. :)
I want a coconut right now, it looks so delicious!
It was... :o)
The Coconut jelly, looks to be my favourite. Mind you, those donuts. Mmm. IDK now. 🤔 Take care. ❤🙂🐕
We'll have them all then Maxi :o)
Steve's Kitchen LOL, I think I probably would. 😁 Take care Steve & Michelle. ❤🙂🐕
Thanks :o)
I really would like to try Vietnamese sticky rice
They usually add kumquat or lime juice to the sugarcane juice, did they not do that to yours? It helps give it an extra dimension in flavor and aroma. :) Love all the sweets you showcased. The banh cam has always been a favorite. Did you not find any desserts wrapped and steamed or cooked over coals that have coconut/peanuts/sugar in them? Those are delicious!!!
No they Didn't, that may have made a real difference it was way too sweet.. :o) and I missed those treat, maybe next trip.. :o) Thanks for all the great comment's you must like the Vietnam Trip.. :o)
The place I get sugar cane juice from add kumquat juice to it and it helps cut the sweetness.
uhg thank god I made an extra cupcake for mother's day or I wouldn't make it through this video haha.
Nice stuff!!
LOL's Lucky you and Happy Mothers Day :o)
I bought one of those doughnuts on the street!! They where so hard and horrible!! Dying to try the one you mentioned frying them up fresh!!
Fresh they are so good.. Get down there and let me know.. :o)
I would have to say my mouth was watering with all the desserts!! Have you had the banana cake/pudding type dessert?
Thanks, no, is it from here?
Yes, it is called Banh Chuoi Nuong. Hope you can find it and try it if you like bananas!
I love vietnamese
You and you're wife are so adorable!
Aww! Thanks :o)
The things I like are the creme caramel and the sticky rice
So cuteeeeee !!! ❤️😍😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍😚😍
cool :)
Wow! All of the desserts looks great, but, when you was in that small shop, was I correct that Michelle had the coconut geletin and you had 3 there? Don't seem fair. LOL
No. no you are mistaken Ruby, I am pretty sure I had 4... 😀 There that's fairer. ☺️
Is it safe to eat the ice there?
hi steve i want to know where did you stay or what hotel did you stay in hanoi im going there next month 3rd week of october what hotel in the old quarter is best place to stay. thanks
We stayed in a Place called the Damsels, it was new and we liked it but you have to do your research based on your budget..
Vietnamese foods are so good that I always gain a few pounds when I go there.
thanks! c: im veitnamese
Mmm, black sticky rice looked intriguing. Did it taste like black treacle/burnt sugar?
The Black sticky Rice is a favourite of mine Sam, it's not too sweet but it so good, I'll make it on the channel when we get a Kitchen next.. Thanks
Hi, Steve. Those desserts look simply delish. What's the best way to get the best cucumber? Have a good day, Steve.
Hi Byron.. Thank you Buddy, do you mean to grow or buy?
Steve's Kitchen I am talking about buying them.
Ah Well Byron, then look for strong Green Colour, not dull and without Bruising or softness. If it's not firm, leave it. Store in the fridge or somewhere cool..
Steve's Kitchen Thanks for the tip, Steve.
Welcome Buddy..
hahaha Had to laugh at 0:45 - being served from a tin. lol.
🙃 Nothing but the best on the streets of Hanoi Ed, funnily that happens so often all in many parts, I didn't give a thought :o) How are you buddy.. Good I hope..
Steve
