I love Banh Ra so much! It reminded me to the first time I ate it when I was 5. My father took me to the market and a woman gave me some Banh Ran. I never forget the moment. It is a piece of my soul!
Hi Van! 2017 was my first trip to Vietnam, and Vietnam turned me into a foodie lol! So I was excited to learn about new desserts. Both of your first two deserts I have not tried, and will save your videos so I can find them on my next trip. Are these same deserts found in Hoi An, Saigon or Can Tho? The ice cream doesn't excite me because for me it is not Vietnamese enough lol. On my first trip my solo food tour guide asked me if I would like to try "sweet soup" and I said no, because for Americans, soup is savory and I don't like main dishes to be sweet. She didn't tell me it was a dessert. But on my second trip to Hanoi, I discover Che, which I found is what she called sweet soup, and I love it. Is Che also available in the places I mentioned above? I would love to see another video with unique Vietnamese desserts! BTW, from your accent, I presume you are American as am I?
Che is kinna a our unofficial national desert dish, you can find it every where in the country, each area has their own unique flavor Che, but for me the best one is in the Middle land of Vietnam, like in Hoi An, Hue, Da Nang. Bo bia is sold every where, so don't worry. The Vietnamese sweet donut might be a little trickier, like I find it hard to find a good stall selling the sesame wrapper one in Da Nang, but their salty one is quite good. You could ask the local for good place.
The ladies are so cute, the ice cream is so yummy, and the day is so beautiful. Thanks heaps to you girls for refreshing my mind after a busy hard day at work 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love Hanoi so much! It reminded me to the first time when I was 6. My lost DOG was found in the dog meat market I was crying and a butcher woman gave me some THIT CAY . I never forget the moment. It is a piece of my soul! MANY THANK TO MY ANCESTOR
Miss Hanoi so much. I have left Hanoi for over 1 month, but I feel missing it. Study and live here near 10yrs, it cannot say my feeling about hanoi. Hopefully I can come back Hanoi one time again. I miss Bun cha, Bun dau mam tom, pho,... everything in Hanoi.
Please explain how much it cost and how to prounce the name of each desert!!! Looks soo9 good !! I am very hungry to try your desert, sweet and confectionary yummy 😋
Hey Van. I'm gonna visit Hanoi in July. Can you suggest a couple of good restaurants and places to visit? It is not that easy to find them in tourist guides because there are many. I just need some addresses. Thanx.
I wonder if the banh ran coated with honey is actually coated with just sugar syrup or brown sugar. i have tried all 3 types of banh ran when visiting Hanoi. my favorite one is banh ran man dipped in fish sauce. so yummy!!! all the sweetness, sourness and savoriness of dipping sauce and crispy texture of banh ran harmonize perfectly. in hcm we don't dip fried banh ran in fish sauce like that, so i love it sm. hope i will visit Hanoi again soon cuz I miss many delicious dishes there :((
Omg! Finally! I never new what those little round balls of sweetness were called! This lady used to sell them on the street......in Hanoi! She'd wait outside my hotel room for me to come out. Every single day! They are so, so good!
Can't wait to visit 2Cream! There is a vendor in my neighborhood (Hanoi) whose bicycle says "bò bía" but he sells cotton candy. Can this word also mean cotton candy, or did he switch desserts?
I think the difference here is the filler, we tense to use smashed steam mung bean mix with raw sugar and some time a little mince coconut and coconut milk. Every donut has the same filler.
hey nice partner to hang out, all the dessert looks good and the pork one was a big surprise its a weird dessert but good one. i think both of you should go to a buddhist theravada temple i want to see, i saw many beautiful buddhist temples in thailand but i dont know how they look in Vietnam.
Nowadays, there are a lot of Vietnamese girls who speak English fluently. Vân Vũ here is one among them. It's good news for our generation. My best regards to Vân.
Many You tubers do food review already so you might want to consider presenting ordinary life activities to attract nostalgic Viet Kieu and curious foreigners : grocery shopping, hair service, karaoke bar, art gallery, bookstore, etc...
2 dragon statues in Ho Tay Lake are so ugly in my eyes, they block the magnificent view of the lake. The gentle ripple water view would be better without any bad artificial blocking. Hanoi town planners may copy the bad idea of the Singaporean Lion statue which is equally ugly. I love Hanoi anyway.
M cũng fl chị gái này trên Tiktok nè, dễ thương lắm.
博主很漂亮呀,I almost watched your all videos in this channel , So fascinating so cultural , Looking forward to visiting Vietnam in near future
Great collab!! I see here videos on tiktok all the time! Just found your channel the other day. Congratulations on the quality and consistency 😊

I love Banh Ra so much! It reminded me to the first time I ate it when I was 5. My father took me to the market and a woman gave me some Banh Ran. I never forget the moment. It is a piece of my soul!
I'm Turkish. We LOVE food! After watching this I really want to visit Vietnam. :)
Fun fact: There are 2 Turkish things that are very famous in Vietnam: Aziz Nesin and doner kebab XD Anyway, welcome friend.
Thank you :-))

Thanks Van, I will make sure I take my daughter there for an ice cream after we go to the water park

Need to have Vietnamese coffee with that. Normally with sweets like that I would need a double espresso or equivalent.
Omg looks so delicious. I have the worst sweet tooth and it’s satisfying learning about new desserts to try. The first one looked soooo good.

I’m going to make the croissant ice cream!
That is very interesting that the vegan ice cream is smooth with the coconut oil.

Vân studied abroad in the US for a couple of years, so it kind of makes sense that her Vietnamese is pretty fluent.
Wonderful
Wow!
I really like your Westerner guest with you on your channel.
You are so pretty.
So yummy
Respect !!!
"Why would you exchange the healthy stuff for the sugary stuff?" -- that's a question that answers itself 🤣

Do Vietnamese understand the basics of investing for the future? Education video on investment is good karma.

not sure i would eat any dessert if they not using gloves, not very hygienic.
Toàn đồ ăn ko tốt cho sức khoẻ
Get a life
I really don’t understand why people rave about VN food. Average at best.
Just my 2 cents, but you are enough personality for me. I don't think you need these guest.
Hy vọng anh sẽ được gặp em. Trước khi em lấy chồng.
Oh. Nice Video... Pity me, unfortunately I am Diabetic and I hurt through this one because I very much miss eating sweet treats. 🥲I envy you guys... 😪
