I can confirm that Tiger Drop can still whiff completely in Dragon Engine-games. Specifically, Kaito's Drop Kick flies right over it and even punishes it. Good on you, Kaito, for mastering the Tiger Drop Dropping Drop Kick.
The flashbangs aren't allowed to interact with you again until the cooldown on the blind debuff comes back. You know how you can only stun enemies sometimes in YK2? There's a cooldown until you can stun them again. This applies to all kinds of statuses actually, and also to Kiryu.

Great video Counter-argument: Kiryu multiple times say stuff like "I´m not holding back anymore/no need to hold back" and stuff like that so we can assume that perhaps the instances where he DIDN´T negate all damage were the result of a little bit of what its called "sugar-coating". Another thing is that in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Amon can summon a fake Kiryu, and he can tiger drop the Orbital Laser, and while it doesn´t negate damage we must remember this is a faker so perhaps the real Kiryu with killing/protect intention could tiger drop an orbital laser (definitely) AND negate their damage (high probability).
The tiger drop (at least in kiwami 2 I never tried in yakuza 6) does not have I frames throughout ALL the animation seeing as how tiger dropping a rocket launcher will still hurt you no matter how you time it oh and in gaiden tiger dropping a shotgun also doesn’t get negated and in fact beats tiger drop

With that said, shall we consider that Saejima's headbutt counter is also fully invincible as well?
Bro gave 0 love to Dragon Drop:(
R1 + /\ negates all damage and R1 + O Beast style will hug kratos and kill him
Not sugarcoating it + skill issue + ratio + lack of real estate revenue
In Kiwami 1, you can Tiger drop Amon’s grenade throw. I don’t know how I did it. I don’t know how it was possible
Tiger drops negates all damage when yakuza 3:
This just proves why Akiyama is THE best character
In all fairness, getting I-frames on a counter attack is mad crazy, and in 3 and 4 it's actually been documented as the no invincibility on TD is a glitch. Since they did have I-frames on it in 1 and 2.
The Tiger Drop doesn't negate all damage in my hands, since I mistime it 3/4ths of the time lol.
Big fan of Mythbusters: Yakuza Edition. Would love to see more experiments like this
Kiryus r1 + circle move is better than tigerdrop, way too easy to land, and you get s
kaito's counter hook is just like k1that gives you super armor and defend but no i frame
I will say tiger drop does not broke the game because it needs precision to consistently land it. Another thing it makes the fight more shorter
Twist Counter , Komaki Parry rn : 💀💀💀
Great video
Counter-argument: Kiryu multiple times say stuff like "I´m not holding back anymore/no need to hold back" and stuff like that so we can assume that perhaps the instances where he DIDN´T negate all damage were the result of a little bit of what its called "sugar-coating".
Sure, Kratos might kill Kiryu, but then Kiryu would actually be alive again and Kratos would cease to exist in the next game.
Until Kratos has beaten Jesus, I don’t want to speculate on whether Kratos or Kiryu can beat one another.
Hear me out then
Can he beat goku vs Tiger drop negate any dmg
Unstoppable force vs immovable wall
I wanna see mario and luigi frame perfect magic window vs yakuza tiger drop
Tatsuya with Ancient Martial Arts/Extreme Fortitude using the reversal mechanic would beat both
