Looks great! The moment with the light reflecting off the BBS badge. That was peak car modifying. Possibly peak humanity. I don’t know. But it was glorious
God, if I had the money I'd be getting my 330ci down to you guys for the works! Full overhaul, wheels, suspension, bushes, exhaust and maybe some cheeky forced induction... Dreamy
*Seeing how much of a difference this made on the car is making think about lowering mine and getting some spacers so I can get a better wheel profile* 🤔
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻, Wow, that just looked so awesome! Are you going to put LED lamps in the back as well? Have you ever tried to steam the car from underneath as well, they say, it makes it as good as new, almost.
Hello, Beautiful setup, i've been having a hard time tracking down a set of 18" in 5x120, would you mind sharing where you sourced the wheels? Much appreciated
Too low for optimum shoe to ankle ratio... On a serious note the best upgrade on mine was fitting a standard Z3 quicker rack (2.7 vs 3.2 turns lock to lock) The standard rack is pretty horrible! Not only is the standard Z3 quicker rack, but it's linear and much better feel about the centre. The standard rack is variable ratio, slow in the dead centre to make it less twitchy/more stable at high speed.
@@anidiotinaracingcar believe the sloppiness is due to worn components, shorter ratio rack will improve the sharpness of the front end and driving experience, making the car feel smaller and more agile.
A few comments. I would cut the internal bump stops to 40mm, or see if you can get the 40mm items from Bilstein. Rise it up a bit so you have at least 50mm of bump travel. leave the stock top mounts in their original location, or swap them if you need the camber for clearance and add a 5mm spacer. is almost perfect. H&R ride like crap out of the box in all honesty. I have them on my Z4M and the design is very similar, I did cut the stops and changed to swift linear springs in 225 lb/in, rears I have 600 lb/in but you may need to adjust that due to the different rear suspension design.
I know it'll settle out but at first it looked like the rear was a tad higher. Looks awesome though, these cars dont get the love they deserve. I used to have the soft top version. Great cars.
Test drove a 2001 Z3 Coupe (not an M) the other day and was so disappointed in the handling and suspension. Super weird driving dynamics IMO. I found it to be super soft, like a Miata but with a lot more power and weight, which just makes matters worse. And the front end seemed to hunt for the line on turn-in. I’ve no doubt that the softness can be corrected. Do you guys fees as if this “hunting” feeling is something that these cars suffer from in general and if so, is that something that your setup helps to address. I really love the car in so many respects but just can’t get my head around purchasing one if I don’t know before hand what will be needed to get it to behave better. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
Can’t say I’ve ever driven a non-M Coupé, we didn’t get them in the UK. If it was completely standard I would expect it to feel quite soft and need some suspension work like refreshed bushes or even an alignment, Love the M Coupé, suspension wise it must be somewhat similar. If you love the car you won’t find anything else like it.
One piece of input is that I don’t understand why you lads always find it necessary to put coils at their lowest setting straight away. That front looks about 10-15mm too low. Like some cut coil car instead of a true sports car. Just a multiple M owners opinion. As for the LMs, you could put them on nearly any model up the current M3 and they would look stunning (if they came in 21). As always, your products and content are second to none, in the last year I’ve added your air box to my RS6 and just ordered one for my son’s GLC63. Keep up the great work!
Ride height is personal preference! We often test fit suspension parts before making the video also (these were fitted for the Park Lane event and removed) and based on what we set it to before decided to go all the way down. Just love the tyre to arch look, like we have here.
Silver M car with silver LMs are perfect as I have on my bought new E46 M3, but I just wish they fit an LM set that wasn't modified - someone polished the lip thereby removing the one-of-a-kind factory BBS diamond cut coated finish which gleams like a Rolex stainless steel Submariner bracelet. Plus the front needs more wheel to fender gap than rear, OEM style. Else dragster.
When buying LMs in this spec it really is a case of take what you can find! The faces themselves in this size are quite rare to fit a Z3M nicely with it’s odd proportions. We were lucky to find this set from another Z3M owner. Personal preference but dislike the rear rake look of more gap on the front. We’ve raised the front 5mm since this video actually.
@@EvolveAutomotive I corner balance my cars and the Ms naturally end up with more front gap than rear per factory setup. The chassis side beams end up sitting perfectly level with the ground. There are good reasons why BMW sets their cars up this way. It’s too bad BBS doesn’t make a to spec LM for the clown shoe as they do the E46. Modified BBS wheels are a hard pass for me. Thanks for the content.
We can yes - It can be a little tricky to quote depending on condition of the car, seized bolts, parts that need replacing etc, but well within our skill set. - sales@evolveautomotive.com
Personally, not for me, those stock M wheels on a Z4 M are iconic - multispoke BBS wheels are hands-down the most boring wheels out there, it doesnt matter if they are performance, there are aesthetically pleasing performance wheels out there

I like the throwback music. It’s like something you’d hear during a montage on Miami Vice.
Smashed it, the aesthetic is now perfect. Loving the 80’s music 👌🏽
It looks great! Agree with your statement that the front may have a bit too much camber. But the rear looks perfect 👍🏽
Great video. The wheels and the ride height make it look so much better.
Great vid. Looking forward to more on the M Coupe
“But too stancey” really hurt me. 😂. Think the front camber is bang on. Car sits so well now. Good video, super nicely shot and those rollers. 🔥🔥❤️
We both know how you’d have your M Coupé sitting 😜
@@EvolveAutomotive 😂😂🤔

This is STUNNING !!!!! Love it.
Looks like it was designed to wear those BBS, even raised slightly for a little more comfort I bet it will still look so good! 👌🏻
When you want to check one of the best upgrades for your bimmer, Evolve should be the first handle them! Great content as always! ✌
Those BBS LM's spectacular 😍
Watching your videos when you take the M out on the road always freaks me out with oncoming traffic!!!!...LOL
Another great video with the shoe
Love this M COUPE❤
Proper job again 👍🏻✌🏾
Looks good. I did the e46 zhp rack and solid steering guibo upgrade on my 95 m3. When’s the eventuri and re-map happening?
All in good time. Unsure if Eventuri or straight to airbox 😜
Did you have to grease any of the coilover components? Shock mounts etc ?
I always love the vids bro.all the cars are amazing 💪💪 keep up the good stuff
Great car. Always loved it, never was able to afford one. Beside the car, really digging your Omega Speedmaster…👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
*Seeing how much of a difference this made on the car is making think about lowering mine and getting some spacers so I can get a better wheel profile* 🤔
Great video grown up boys with big toys... love it.
Awesome vid thank you! Can you please share the specs of your LM?
Such a huge transformation looks like another car...just stunning ❤️ yeah the front negative camber looks a bit much
Any update videos on the z3m coupe ?
My chrome shadow Roadstars are flaking apart. What size LMs did you get for this car?
how stiff is the new setup bro you cant adjust the damming im running same setup as you old suspension in my M roadster

i love the music...reminds me of 80's movies.
Amazing car - love it !
Always wanted one of these
You can't go wrong with BBS LM's on any BMW.
Look stunning with the H&R coilovers ! As an 2.8 Z3 coupe owner I'm wondering if you will sell your old bilstein/h&r b12 kit ?
Someone’s already taken it!
classic mate love it!
Niceeee one of my favourite cars
You know the spring rate on this kit bro I’m looking kit for my M roadster I have the your old setup

What are specs of the front wheels 18x??
Very curious to see what you're going to do with the steering. Are you going to attend to the "sloppiness" and the steering ratio with different mods?
Yes, we have a few upgrades planned at once.
@@EvolveAutomotive I meant one mod for the sloppiness and another mod for the steering ratio or both will be solved with just a new steering rack?
@@anidiotinaracingcar believe the sloppiness is due to worn components, shorter ratio rack will improve the sharpness of the front end and driving experience, making the car feel smaller and more agile.

Yes, we believe that to be worn components introducing play.
Why didn't you say what geo setup you used?

Go for M3 CSL steering wheel it's the tight size and no buttens on the wheel 👍
Why didn’t you put ball mounts with camber and caster plates.

Yes, it does.

Bit too much stance on the front for my tastes…looks like a scene VW 😂
Rear looks bang on and the wheels look perfect.
Yea front is too stancey. Rear is perfect tho.
I thought it was the M44HNY
All the money you're making at least refurb the garage to look presentable.
another set of LMs ruined
