I think Motor Trend is getting the hint that we aren't going to pay for content.
Seriously, I used to watch and enjoy their videos on UA-cam but once they went to a subscription only model I've found so many other car channels that are free and just as entertaining such as Donut Media. I already pay so much for streaming content from the big streaming services, I don't want to pay more for one that is effectively a UA-cam channel about cars.
zango010... I agree. And this video is a prime example. MT puts out a highlight video, and it's neither entertaining nor informative.
Imho when magazine company's try to get into making content it just turns into a movie picture version of a print article. And print articles are just long form paid advertising.

Zack and Ari from motorcyclist built a solid following behind their channel...they were swindled by motortrend to leave. No content was released for several months...then suddenly the guys announced that they’re a part of revzilla.
Finnegan left.
Fred and Dave should leave and start something of their own. They have the credentials, the contacts and the following to sustain a new channel through the early stages.
Motortrend needs to rethink the direction they’re taking their hosts and fans...it does not appear anyone supports them at the moment.

9:42 if you look closely you can all the oil that leaked out from a smashed oil pan. I remember that happened and dude was pissed.

Nope. Underpowered for a 5L. Too big and bulky for light trucks. Bad fuel economy. Assembly line probably completely shut and disassembled by now.
In line 6 or V6 Diesel is the way 2 go...Don’t Know why Cummins build this 5.0 V8 it’s JUNK....
I don’t know why Cummins tried to reinvent the wheel? They’re known for their in-line 6 6bt & in-line four-cylinder 4BT.... why not just make a in-line five cylinder.??
I don't know the way they disrespected that clean square body that one time....like who does that they treat a Jeep more careful then they do a desired body style
All ys need is a ac unit sticking out the back window hooked up to an 3000watt inverter to those duel batteries. Just move the fuel tank to the bed that's what it is for. Duh

That engine is a dog compared to other diesels in pickups nowadays, it got HORRIBLE fuel mileage due to the garbage emission systems, and it was a waste of an engine, really. Cummins could've done better when designing that engine, and choose better truck platforms for them.

Dual tires, witch we won't need. Dual piston calipers for our brakes witch we won't need! Yeah because if you're hitting your brakes you're trying to slow down and you can't live in the fast lane if you're using your brakes!

The 5.0 they used weighs 899lbs, not 1200.
