Would love to know how you sourced and custom did your countertop, we're not crazy with anything we're finding ready made and the gray beige you landed on is beautiful. In the meantime congratulations to you both on your progress -- the fresh air of freedom is so close : )
Same here. We were so unhappy with all the options that we actually used the same roman clay we used for our walls, but on a 3/4 inch piece of birch plywood. Then we did a few coats of epoxy and a matte epoxy sealer to give it a matte finish. We’d love to make a patreon resource for this… we didn’t film the process but maybe we can put together a blog post or something fun like that!

Would you be able to show us how you made the roman clay and which color you used? I haven't seen it looking this amazing anywhere.
The color is piano room and we purchased it from portola paints! It is a 8 stage application process with the sealer (which we highly recommend for a van) so it takes ✨FOREVER✨ to apply but is worth it in the end!

Is there a particular reason you are incorporating the Roman clay? Does it provide more advantages like sound proving or thermal properties, or is it just the aesthetic?
Purely aesthetic! It’s not any heavier than regular paint and we love how much dimension it adds to the space.
Wow, soooo beautiful. I would love to learn from you two. Can you share how to make the screen? I noticed you painted and then applied the roman clay, can you just apply the clay and then the epoxy coat? What color did you use for the paint? Roman Clay?🎇🌞Bright inspiration and ideas!
Thank you! We bought the screen from Dometic and had it shipped from Europe. Primer coat needs to go down first before the roman clay can. Epoxy can happen after 2 coats of primer (paint) and then 2 coats of clay :)

The screen door is awesome! Was it custom or an off-the-shelf item?
Off the shelf! But we shipped it in from the UK. It’s made for a Ducato or boxer van which is basically their equivalent of the US promaster. We just had to make sure we ordered the right side (passenger or driver).

I really love the look of the roman clay in the bathroom. Have there been any issues with cracks in the corners due to flexing/movement from driving?
Not so far! We have a patreon post we did all about the shower and finish! We did a lot of extra steps to avoid cracking and any water issues.
I left a previous comment under a different name cuz I have multiple gmails trying to sort out my mail. Then I was gonna leave you a private message on Patreon, but could not and that's because I was on the wrong gmail, then I got on this gmail and same can't sign in, keeps asking me to join, but I know money was transferred, hahahahaha, SOooooo, I'm just gonna say. You both are doing just fine. It will get done when it gets done. Rest is good, pace yourself is good, therapy is also good. Bangs are good too, when I get my hair cut I won't let them touch them, I do myself cuz I have a special method to get the poof I'm looking for.Would love to see what a lil gel spiking all over style (don't put the bangs in a mohawk, not talking that, haha) would look like. You are unique with an elegant style and I love that.Cheers!
