This is an incredible guide to Vietnam. Thanks for sharing. I was supposed to be there on an official shoot with Rakuten Travel and the Vietnamese Tourism Bureau but of course, COVID19 postponed the plans until later 2021 but seeing this gives me a couple of things to consider when shooting so thank you so much for taking the time to make this!
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for

Thank you Alexander, such an inspiring video! 😊
I am from Vietnam and I love traveling, I have tried to find a Travel Vlog to improve my English. Your voice is very clear and slow, easy to hear. It is very helpful to have both travel knowledge and lẻarning English . thank you
Thanks so much, I appreciate that. Thank you for watching 🇻🇳
DALAT! Do not skip this gem, it's amazing! Waterfalls, mountains, food, views, greenhouses, some history, and not too touristic :) plus strawberries and avocados haha. My absolute fav

Thanks so much for sharing, my wife and I are planning on going to Vietnam for 3 weeks but where a little overwhelmed on what to do.
Your video has given us so many ideas.
It’s been a great help, thank
You 🙏🏻
You’re blatantly right when you said people can explore different things in every corners of Vietnam! So many things to do, so I recommend that you can add more must-do things in Vietnam including mountainous areas in the North and Quang Binh as the King of caves in Vietnam!
Thanks for comming Bro 🌷🌷🌷
Love from Hue- Central Vietnam 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳
Thanks for watching! Going back soon to see more
Dont forget visit Hue-my home town bro 😁😁
hahaha, 30 seconds in and already subscribed! Never would have known about that Halong Bay view, but I'm definitely going there next time.
Great video!! Very helpful
Loved this! Great content, as always :D Thank for the suggestions! We're planning on spending a month or two in Vietnam next year and can't wait to see some of these sights for ourselves. Not sure if I'm up to renting a bike though...I feel like I keep hearing stories of travelers dying in wrecks over there haha
Yeahhh, it does happen. But I’ve also met a TON of people who have done it with no problems. I think it’s just the odds. Many more people travel Vietnam that way than you would think. It seemed like 80% of the people I met in hostels were traveling that way. But, the other options are pretty goood too
That's good to hear. I guess the bad stories make headlines:/
Really looking forward to when you buy a bike there and all the great motorcycle road trip videos which are happen as well! :D
Thanks @Alexander Travelbum so much. I'm Vietnamese and I love travelling so much, I like this video and this, at my target: Make a video about discovery Vietnam by English. This video makes me motivation to do it. Thank you again!
Awesome things to do in an amazing country.. We love it!

Thanks a lot for watching my videos, and I’m glad I can help, hope you get back to Vietnam soon to get to Mui Ne and Halong
I haven't been there too even I'm Vietnamese 😂😂
i really love your video. Your voice is easy to understand and it helps me a lot to improve my English. Actually i am a Vietnamese and love travelling, but i haven't come to these places. It is wonderful to watch a video introducing about my country from a foreigner

I was in Vietnam a couple years ago. I would recommend Paradise Cave. It's quite majestic
Thx for the video man. I love it
Thanks for watching 👊🏻
going for about 6 months - thank you so much!
Paradise Cave is breathtaking but few travelers mentioned.
Vietnam is such an amazing destination to travel
I am here the 5th time now. And i always have ridden without any police ckecks and accidents.
But this time, as i arrived, a good friend send me a picture, where he suddenly witnessed an accident in Phu Quoc. A western guy lost his lower left leg. This totally shocked us, in fact it shocked us that much, because 1: His eyes while watching on his lost leg and the look of his friend standing aside. 2: It told me, how careless me and my spouse were riding all the time.
3: This time we make a reflection.
Meaning, never feel to sure about how good you can handle the bike, always keep your brakes and at least left mirror properly mounted. And, be, be, be, please be always as careful as you were during your first bikeride.
Holidays must not end like this.
And Vietnam is really worth to see.
I love your videos! so well done and interesting! And doesn't hurt that you look like Captain Jack Sparrow!!!!
Thank you. Leaving in 4 days. Ant wait to experience Vietnam. Great tips.

Almost October, good luck!!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Indeed I am heading to Vietnam next May and some of your destinations are in my itinerary. i have some couple questions for you... 1 Where did you buy one day pass for Halong Bay? The hotel where i am going to stay offers much more than what mentioned in your video. 2.. How did you get upto the mountain? Once again, thanks for sharing and look forward to hearing from you.
You are awesome. You have beautiful personality. Love your videos.
Thanks a lot! 👊🏻 I appreciate that

Hi Alex. I enjoyed watching your video! We are planning on heading to Vietnam in a few weeks and this has really helped us plan the activities to do! Is there a short motorbike trip you recommend in particular? We will have 3 weeks in Vietnam and would like to fit a lot of these activities you listed, but also want to maybe do an extended bike trip (
Great videos man! Been to to almost every country in SEA but never Vietnam. Just booked 7 weeks and lookin forward to it. Do you have any good sites or tips about where you can buy motorbikes in Ho Chi Minh? planning to drive north up to at least Hanoi along the coastline. Cheers!
Thanks, have been zeroing in Vietnam for quite sometime but I have been facing to make definite order. Your video will be helpful in choosing the good places, hopefully with lesser tourists.
Backpacking with Me some place with lesser tourists : ha giang , Cao bang province ( it is near sapa ) , quang binh , cam ranh ( in the middle Vietnam ) . Very tranquil and wild !
@@ngocquynhhs5716 : Thanks for reference. I have decided to visit Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Ninh Binh and Cat Ba.
Hope these are beautiful places with less tourists.
So beautiful 😍 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳

Awesome video man !!!
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Nice - thanks!
I think your video is actually useful for someone who want to travel to Vietnam 🙂👍👍
Thank you 🇻🇳 ✊🏻 I appreciate the comment
@@AlexanderTravelbum thank you! love your video! Need to see more of your videos! Great job! ANd very cute to boot!
Love this! Which company did you choose for the one day halong bay tour?
Breathtaking places in Vietnam
I look forward to seeing Vietnam for the first time
Extremely helpful video. Seriously, one of the best guides to Vietnam I've come across. Thanks much! Subscribed.
Thanks sir! Appreciate that
THANKS,DUDE
omg thank you for the tip about buying the bike, having a great trip, and re-selling. Totally gonna do this, and give the money away at the end!
Sounds perfect ✊🏻
Excellent video...
🙏🏻
Thanks for this vid
Any time, glad it helped
Welcom to VIETNAM!!!
Also recommendable is the Island Phú Quốc, and Island just to the south of the mainland. Good connection through the air with the other big cities in Vietnam. Lovely beaches (if you manage to stay away from the majority of tourists;)).
Hi, Great video. With Halong Bay tours, did you prebook them or did you go out to the area first and then booked a tour ? cost wise Id imagine doing them in Vietnam would be cheaper but worried that there may not be much options when we do end up going
You can just go to the port. All the tour owners will see you and try to catch your attractions. Look up for the average prices before you go so you can make sure not be scammed to much. Prices can be flexible though.
Anyway, if you get scammed in Vietnam, find some locals for instant helps, and contact the local government, and maybe find some journalist to back up the supports you would get. Vietnam is building its image so any scammed tourist can get good treatments by the government. Better have some Hotlines before you go there.
Good video. No bullshit 👍🏻
If anyone ever goes to Hong Kong, I think the view from the Dragons Back/Shek O Peak(?) is one of the most awesome views I've seen(maybe outside NZ) and you get to go to the beach after. : )
That sounds awesome
Thanks great info, does the mobile sim card you buy in Vietnam work in Combodia ?
Nice !!! :D
first of all i really like your videos and hope to see more :D keep up the good work :D
i am planing a trip to asia , Vietnam & laos or Philipines ...
i am asking for your advice , there will be my friend and me,. plus in one moment 2 more for 2 weeks ... we are looking for original experience , the real culture , eating 8 local meals a day haha , exploration on our own , amazing landscapes , camping , hiking , lets call it a small expedition :D
Nature is more important than cityes !!!
first of all would you recommend us to go to Vietnam or Philipines ?
and where exactly , cause we do not want to travel all the time , chillin is also important .
we have 30-40 days and roughly 1200 euros per persone for all of that .... airplane tickets are on the side :D
tnx in advance
Nice video 👏🏽
Hi ! I fell upon your video and I loved watching it! Amazing ! I was wondering if renting a scooter or a motorcycle in Vietnam is legal ? As in, what happens if I get into an accident ? Is there a kind of insurance I must get before travelling to Vietnam ? Also, I've heard of cases where papers were "fake" and people got in trouble because they were going around with a "stolen" scooter... I am just so nervous but I really do want to rent one so I can be free and wander where ever I want !
Hey hi Alexander.. thank you for sharing the places.. I will be doing 1 day halong bay tour, as you mentioned we will be covering caves. I was also planning to do 1 day phong nha cave exploration from hue. Do you think I can skip this as I'm already covering caves in halong bay tour. What you think?
Superb video...
Thank you Mary ✊🏻
You should try bali and Lombok, pretty sure you will love it
Hi Alex, thanks so much for the useful clip! Amazing stuff!
I am currently in Cambodia and heading to Vietnam tomorrow morning, I will have 10 days there. Is there a particular “loop” or tour you would recommend me doing in this short time (considering that I am flying back to Europe from Hanoi)? Considering I won’t have the time to do everything, i was considering arriving in Da Nang from Cambodia, and move up north. What do you think it’s best? Thanks so much, any tips would be very very useful and appreciated :)) keep up doing the great work !
I got your email! Emailed you back,
Welcome to Vietnam you guys.
Hey man, really been enjoying your videos as I get ready for a trip to Southeast Asia. One question... how do you figure out how to get around all these places on a scooter and know how to get back into a big enough town to track down a hostel or hotel at the end of the night? Especially all the off-the-beaten-path or more rural areas. Do you buy local maps, use phone GPS...? Seems like either could be tough to use in a totally new place where you don't know the language on the road signs.
I brought a phone from home that works overseas, but most people get a cheap SIM card and then use a maps service, or, the app Maps.Me
Hi, you’re videos are very helpful!❤️ I was wondering if you travel Vietnam, can I go with a suitcase or do you recommend to take a backpack? I am planning a big trip through Asia, but I would prefer to use a suitcase. Just not sure if it will hinder me in my travel? Thanks😁
I made a video or two about packing for Southeast Asia, you should watch! You can go either way though. Backpacks are easier for further travel on foot between places, but a suitcase can be done. It just could be more difficult at times if you have to walk around with your belongings
@@AlexanderTravelbum I'm traveling SO-Asia since 9 years (constantly, not for holidays only) and I have decided to go with a trolley and a small backpack. trolley under 20 kg and backpack (for laptop, cables, adapters, etc. and food) about 7 kg, thats convenient if you fly cheap. normally I don't go trecking with all my luggage ;) the times when I had 50 kg on my back are definitely over :)
Thank you
Ban Gioc is another worthy hidden gem imo :)
I didn’t go, but going back in a couple months. I’ll make sure to spend time there. Thanks!
New sub, love your stuff. Do you remember what sleeper bus company you used from hanoi to laos? Want to experience this but scared from the horror stories i have heard? xx
Horror stories? I used different companies many times and they were all about the same. I would just ask your hotel or hostel if you don’t see tourism or bus stations when you get there
Just a few people telling me things, haha ok great, thanks for the advice :)
@@AlexanderTravelbum
"go to hanoi" great hidden gems,,,
