Loved Vietnam 🇻🇳. The traffic in Saigon chaotic 😊. The food ❤ and the people, friendly and hardworking. Da lat, Hoi An, Hue and Ha long bay. Loved Hanoi😊.
😁 Saigon has some really diverse activities to get up to. Definitely one of the funnest 20 days of travels we've had. Soon as we were leaving I was like I wanna go back to Vietnam 😅
That is really good to know that food quality is good everywhere, I can't stand when you go to a place and they don't have good food but they are in a touristic place, so no matter what they get people in.
That's a blanket rule in all of Vietnam. I really struggle to find anywhere that serves bad food. I think cause there is just way too much competition. You gotta be at least good to survive.
Yen started getting claustrophobic too which is why we pulled out at the 25m mark but props to her for giving it a go anyway 😁👍 was an interesting experience for sure
The artistic museum was incredible. Peter going into the hole gave me anxiety. Than you two went into the tunnels giving me a full blown panic attack😱😱 You two make everything look good and fun❤❤
😁👋 yen definitely got claustrophobic in there. Can you imagine that the holes used to be even smaller back in the war days. Was a really unique experience though n we're glad we did it. It was fun 😁❤ Saigon is an awesome city to explore.
I wish I'd spent more time in Saigon last time I visited. I had been there for a year when I was younger, and my family lives about 8 hours outside of the city. Will have to go back soon and see what's changed.
It's a great city, vibrant and lots of things to do and delicious food. Really enjoyed our time there. Hope you get a chance to visit again soon with your family 😊
@@PeterandYen Last time I was down in the Củ Chi tunnels there were no lights, so had my own flashlight, but I turned a corner and right next to me on the wall was a huge spider bigger than my hand, and a small bat. Along with those giant red centipedes all over the floor. All part of the experience for sure. LOL. Also I don't think you mentioned that they had widened the tunnels for Western tourists, and that Ho Chi Minh got the idea for the tunnels while studying abroad, and learned about the Maori people, who dug tunnels and lived in them during the NZ Land Wars. I remember this being mentioned in a documentary but I should research more into it.
Ooo Saigon Opera show, that's awesome you guys get to film the backstage, thanks for reaching out to the them and get some shots, you've convinced us to visit the opera house if we visit saigon!
The team at AO show were awesome so friendly to us. Definitely should check em out when you're in Saigon. Such a cool city we would love to go back one day.
Mekong Delta is huge! nice aerial shots! hahhah disco party in the coconut trees! hahahha pete amazing body and you know some magic! always love 3d art museum, so funny! Chu Chi tunnerls looks really interesting especially the underground setup! amazing how they managed that.

So cool you in Saigon! I love the most Artinus museum specially at 3:082:33 and 3:33. You guys had so much fun there! it reminds me a screen in Planetarium museum in Tromsø, but Artinus no comparison! Love all those places, love your yellow dress Yen and the "nón lá" 😄 Very interesting video as always! TFS! ❤️

Absolutely love Vietnam markets and I would have stayed overnight. Lunch looked yummy and sugar cane drink yum. Artinus looks like so much fun and a must try. District 1 delicious food, watching both of you eat made me hungry. Must visit Saigon Sky Deck. Yes! The top things to do series is here! Love it! And yes, Vietnamese love to sing karaoke lol. How many days did you stay in Saigon for this trip? Did you try many different Vietnamese food?
We tried tons of different vietnamese food, best eats coming next week 😉 vietnamese is one of my favorite cuisines in the world. We stayed in Saigon for 20 days but could have easily stayed for much more. One of the coolest countries 👍😁
Love that yellow dress, Yen!! Would like to check out that floating market. That's cool that the boat tour comes with a meal. Oohh, is that sugar cane juice? First time hearing about these Cu Chi Tunnels, definitively our kind of place. I don't know that we would fit like Peter though. Hahaha But super interesting.
Thanks Maria! I bought it in Vietnam last year, it made its way home haha 😁👍💛 it was sugar cane juice! Thanks Mandy! It was so interesting to see those snake wines.. Saigon is such a cool city, took us awhile to compile and create this video but lots of fond memories now 🙂👍
Who is your hubby if you don't mind us asking? Please say thanks to him and thank you to you too for watching and dropping us a comment! 😁🙌 Yea it's a bit of a bummer and it's been challenging but we got our health and each other which is more than many have so we're grateful! We're hoping we'll be able to make it back.. airnz has announced that they'll be cutting routes soon and ours might be on that list coz they mentioned Taipei so fingers crossed we still make it out 😅 It was the first nonstop direct flight to Auckland that we could get so yep 🤞 Thanks again and take care too 💕😁
Peter and Yen He speaks highly of you two calling you guys his Asian brother and sister he laughs like an idiot sometimes and I’m thinking he’s chatting on Facebook to some girl which I know for a fact he doesn’t have an account Hehe. He is a bag of laughs. 😊
Ahhhh you guys make us miss VN so much. You guys did a fabulous job showcasing a bunch of must-dos in Saigon. PS - great pronunciation of 'Cu Chi' by Yen 👏
HCMC is such a cool place! Wow I haven’t been to a lot of those tourist attractions so was cool to see them in your video. Cool museum at the start! I also visited a tower when I was there I think it was called the a&b building? Can’t remember, but all you had to do was buy a drink at the bar and the views were so good! HCMC is really bustling, so from above it was beautiful 😍. Your meal looked super yummy and fresh too 😋. I love the architecture of the last museum. So much to see there seems like you guys crammed it all in though ☺️. So many districts there. Will you be doing videos on another district also?
Ooo nice! Love places like that where you can get awesome views just for having a drink there 😁👍 yea we crammed a lot in, had a blast! Tbh don't think there's a lot in the other districts but we did go all the way out of one to get to Mekong and Cu Chi but we also spent fair bit of time in District 3 too where we were staying :) maybe we'll need to go back to check the other places out in the future 😁👍 Thanks Lana 💕 Our countdown to get back to NZ begins.. hope airnz doesn't cancel our flight and route before we get back 😅 they've already announced plans to but end of the month.. our what was to be next stop has gone into lock down and would've been on the day we were suppose to fly in.. so crazy things right now 😕 Hope you guys still all good.. take care! 💕👋🙂
Hai... i'd like to know how can we explore HCM city like you did. For exp Ben Thanh market, post office, 3d museum.... I need all information as I am planning to visit here soon... Tks
Nice review of this amazing city. My favorite city is.........Hanoi (I lived and worked there for one year). I am looking forward to watch your report about that city as well as Danang?
Thanks Erik, glad you enjoyed the video! We've made quite a few videos from Vietnam before (Hanoi and Danang too). You can find them in our Vietnam playlist here UnPHOgettable Vietnam: ua-cam.com/play/PLyvOF1SGpdVNlFuVlqOrcfqh6a2axc0Gr.html hope you enjoy them! 🙂
Awesome vlog. Really informative. Can you Plz let me know about drone rules in Vietnam? As I googled, we've to take permission 2 weeks prior. Is this true?
Do most people still call it Saigon. I think it sounds nicer than HCMC. We only got 2 days would love.to spend more time there. Lol Peter flexing in the museum. That place was cool! Really cool that u got to film the acrobatic rehearsals. I really wanted to do the tunnel tours but Naz is claustrophobic so big no there! How are your guys' haggling skills? Mine not so good 30 percent off not too bad! Really nice mix of things u did there. We just got back from Paris and u can totally see the French influence on the streets there. Nicely done guys!
Thanks guys glad ya enjoyed this one. Ooo sweet needa check out your French vlogs. My haggling skills are pretty decent but yen's a bit too shy for that. I can usually push for 40% but it takes too long not worth the effort usually. interestingly quite a few ppl on here seem claustrophobic 😯
Oh and btw, we wondered the same thing but in the end reached the conclusion that most locals in Saigon will call it Saigon while people outside of the city will call it Ho Chi Minh more 🙂 Both acceptable!
oh guys! this brought us good memories of HCMC! good times there! but we have to ask you (and you can answer separately if answer is different): What did you like more: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City?
@@PeterandYen I don't feel alone anymore lol when in Paris Daniel and Naz went to do the catacombs alone cause the thought of it got me anxiety... smh I am the worse
Nah it's totally understandable! Even I was feeling it a bit being in there and we weren't even in the smaller tunnels AND did a short length 😅 I don't think I would've enjoyed going further. They said tourists use to pass out in the lower levels that they had to shut those tunnels off 😅 scary stuff! Imagine how the soldiers did it for years @.@ - Yen
That looks like a fun, colorful market. Love the selection of foods that you guys ordered. I LOVE tassels, but Nabol hates it! They do have a very unique mix of architecture. That bookstore! I would spend a few hours there for sure. Take care guys. Stay safe!
Sounds like Vietnam/Saigon is definitely a place that would suit you guys 🙂 maybe can add it to your travel plans for the future after all this coronavirus madness is under control 💛 hope you both are doing well and plans aren't too horribly affected!
Whoa you did the floating thing on the stick peter. So what is the secret? This place is awesome! I went to a Russian museum in nha trang that's similar to this place

Saigon is super cool.. really enjoyed our time there! :)
Ahh how fun! Love how you guys pack so much awesome info in your videos! Definitely makes me want to visit Vietnam 🙌
Thanks hun! 😁💕 This took awhile to pull together but they're fun to do!
I miss Saigon so much ...
Us too!
I’m New here at the request of my husband it’s a pity that Coronavirus has cut you guys short. Safe travels back here in New Zealand 🇳🇿🙂👍

@@ladybuzzkiller3726 aww so cool!! We love your hubby hahahah his comments always crack us up 😁💕 thanks heaps you two!!
Aw thanks guys!! And thank you..we tried our best to pronounce it well but Vietnamese is a tough language haha 😁
We had a great time at the Mekong Delta day trip! Remember ordering the fried elephant ear fish there 🤤
Oooo yes they were definitely hyping up that elephant fish how was it?
Peter and Yen Yup! That was the up sell - really nice and crispy. #Notfinessed 😂
Hahaha at least it was tasty 😂
Hello I like the Saigon very beautiful
That is what I am going to make for lunch today, rice, egg, tomato, and that is it because we dont have pork here lol
😂 you guys on that vegetarian diet?
@@PeterandYen just on diet, food is too good here, so when at home we keep it as healthy as we know hahahha which is not very healthy
😂👍💕
Tbh don't think there's a lot in the other districts but we did go all the way out of one to get to Mekong and Cu Chi but we also spent fair bit of time in District 3 too where we were staying :) maybe we'll need to go back to check the other places out in the future 😁👍 Thanks Lana 💕 Our countdown to get back to NZ begins.. hope airnz doesn't cancel our flight and route before we get back 😅 they've already announced plans to but end of the month.. our what was to be next stop has gone into lock down and would've been on the day we were suppose to fly in.. so crazy things right now 😕 Hope you guys still all good.. take care! 💕👋🙂
Peter and Yen Safe travels home guys! We hope your flights don’t get cancelled as well! 🙏😊
definitely need couple days to stay in Saigon to check out these great places, how many days did you guys stay there?
We were there for around 20 days? Maybe a bit longer? We try stay put in cities for a decent amount of time 🙂
Hai... i'd like to know how can we explore HCM city like you did. For exp Ben Thanh market, post office, 3d museum.... I need all information as I am planning to visit here soon... Tks
Ooohhh Yen you look gorgeous in your yellow dress💯
Aww thanks Seliama 💛💛😁 I actually bought it in Vietnam from our first trip but didn't get a chance to wear it then so it's made its full circle back 😉
Well it’s worth the full circle. Such a beautiful colour💛Gorgeousness at yah finest girl😊
What is your recommendation for the hotel while stay in Saigon closes to the city Thank You 😊😊😊
Do most people still call it Saigon.
Oh and btw, we wondered the same thing but in the end reached the conclusion that most locals in Saigon will call it Saigon while people outside of the city will call it Ho Chi Minh more 🙂 Both acceptable!
oh guys! this brought us good memories of HCMC! good times there!
but we have to ask you (and you can answer separately if answer is different):
What did you like more: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City?
HCM for both of us ❤️ it was like.. all the good stuff of Hanoi but more variety, cleaner and wider walking spaces lol 👍 how about you guys?
haha Yens comment about disco music😂
It was so random hahah 😆 really didn't expect that out in the lil boats!
20 meters? That seems like a tough activity for crazy claustrophobic Maria lol
😅 it's really surprising seeing how many ppl are claustrophobic in the comments
@@PeterandYen I don't feel alone anymore lol
when in Paris Daniel and Naz went to do the catacombs alone cause the thought of it got me anxiety... smh I am the worse
Hahahahaha peter in the museum omg this is so funny
😂 when you hang around with me too much you'll see I'm on a different level of dryness yen's gotta put up with this everyday 365
Whoa you did the floating thing on the stick peter. So what is the secret? This place is awesome! I went to a Russian museum in nha trang that's similar to this place
Hahahaha the secret is kinda silly. Just a seat you hide with your body 😂
Cập đôi bạn rất đẹp
Welecom Peter and Yến to HoChiMinh cty
I like your bright yellow dress. You guys look like one of the locals. Interesting Art Museum. Good video as usual. How does the AO show compare to the Kung Fu show in China ?
Thanks dad, the art museum was lots of fun 😁 I think I still enjoyed the king fu show a lil more but overall A O show was super cool.
