"Served it to British customers without telling them what it is, they like it"... Wow what a troll!
You never know some may have said give us something without telling us what it is after a few you know what we're like! ❤
In french, we do not say frog's legs but frog's tighs .
That sound sexy.
OMG...
Frog's legs is really delicious, seems like young chicken but more tasty !
I've always got a whole bag of them in my freezer.
Gi to youtube and search the importance of frogs

@Adhishree Singh South Asian ain't at all vegan including myself I eat pork chicken and mutton fish but not frog or snail but other than that there's no problem most of South Asia and India is non vegetarian
Sometime I feel so contented that I am a vegetarian.
Listen man , you are Indian, feeling contented for being a vegetarian is like being happy to see that the sun rises in the east
Do you like every vegetarian dish?No right?
A lot of them are not unique to France. For Example, the Chinese people eat frogs, blood (pigs, ducks etc), brains, intestines for centuries. It is only the anglo countries which have a rather limited diet.
Evan Shao that isnt true
In the past, tripe was quite popular in England.
Chinese will eat anything including bats
@@terrorfire8505 Chinese don't. That was Palau island near Indonesia, the girl was a tourist there.
@Nordic Tyr Indian holymen literally ate corpse. CNN did an episode on it.
Ewwwww.
EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
mantovannni but tell us how your really feel!
@Nordic Tyr I was thinking just last night about when I nearly ate blue cheese and how I'm glad I didn't bother lol.
It's delicious
Snails I like, a lot of African cuisines have snails in their delicacies. Frogs now that's something I never knew. Blood sausage I've eaten and didn't even know I ate blood sausage
That's probably part of why the French colonized so many places in Africa
We eat snails in Nigeria
eating frogs or insects would be much better for the planet and for humans' health.
many countries do it since thousands of years.
Excessive cattle breeding destroys earth and slowly kills people.
Insects produce protein without fat : exactly what humans need to be healthy.
And these kinds of farms are ecologically clean and very cheap,
and don't need land, chemicals, or even water.
It's the only option to keep a livable planet...
@@DogFoxHybrid dumb...
French taste is really peculiar. 😵
Thai people eating giant spiders isn't ?!
Oh, I didn't realize there are so many similiarty between my contury and french.
Your country's food is disgusting
@@vigneshyenaganti3764 i can agree
In Bolivia we also eat blood sausages, brains, toungs feets tails we eat all those too
that joke was so cute !
Food of the demons. Yuck!!
Should have listened the warnings for vegetarians (I'm strictly one from birth); oh no....
In Portugal we eat most of these too
I like French and Portuguese girls, they don’t expect you to shower beforehand. Peculiar tastes.
@@AYVYN yes, they are smart girls
In the Philippines, we have a dish called (BE TU TE)! But my point here is. in France, it is expensive, unlike the Philippines 😂 it's free! And the pig Blood we have what we called (Tid Tad) it's free as well. I just go in a slaughterhouse😅😅😅😅. At least it's free here.😅
We do call the French, french frogs on occasion.
But the french frogs legs l have seen are pretty nice looking.
😂😂😂😂😂
When your gastronomy gets mocked by Brits it means that there is something seriously wrong about your food
Don't mind me vomiting in the background, I may have a strong stomach but as soon as you said organs I lost it.
THE FROGS THE SNAILS SAY EAT THE WAGON WHEELS
ignorants talk about things they don't know.
I'd never eat an animal after it has been boiled alive. Very cruel and no animal deserves such a suffering
you mean like all seafood that billions of people eat every day ?!
it's cruel, but no unique to snails !!
Americans eat clams and squirrels, it's not that different.
Squirrels? Where in the States are they eating squirrels?
Yeah, they eat crabs in the US
Rattlesnakes in Texas and raccoons too
they eat chlorinated chicken and MacDo "beef" (real meat?).
snails are much safer and tasty.
Et les cuisses de grenouilles ;...... Holala !!!!Les meilleures c'est dans un restaurant en banlieue parisienne à Savigny s/ Orge : cuisses de grenouilles soufflées à l'ail..... Une tuerie !
Mmmmm...buttered and fried frogs, esgargots...so yummy! :9
Go to youtube and search the importance of frogs
@@uppensai390 they're farm raised not wild frogs
I had smoked duck when I was in Paris, taste like bacon.
could we have an episode on the 16/17 courses of French classical menu for the students of Hotel Management in India? I am a hospitality trainer myself and I have my UA-cam channel "Praveen Jha" where I upload educational videos of another sublect "Front Office". I was requested to make a video on French Classical menu by one of the viewers and I think I need expert help with that.
I am a regular watcher of France 24 (English) and would really be thankful if you could put together some great audio-visual content, keeping in minf ESL students of Asia-pacific region. I love the episodes on French culture made by the two graceful ladies and I expect them to listen to my request. Thank you for some really great content you have already hosted on UA-cam.
Much regards and appreciation...
offal is really awful.. ha ha haha🤣 gotta million of 'em
I'm Filipino and darkened pig's blood soup with chilis and intestine parts (dinuguan) is usually what I have for lunch. Also shreded pig's face (sisig) as a drunk food.
That sounds brutal
This sounds gross, why not just eat beans, rice, lentils, vegetables, ect. I understand the lack of food in every countries history and lack of access to food, but in this day and age
@@nostalgia545 eating vegetable is meh and boring
@@nostalgia545 vegetables don't fight...no thrills
no/!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yummy .. 🙂👍..
You omitted to mention the Animals that are tortured before being killed & eaten! Foie Gras for example where the Goose is forced fed until it's liver is monstrously bloated. then there are "Ortolan" Larks that are caught, they are then blinded by removing their eyes, this fattens them up as they can't distinguish night from day & so eat more, the live ( and now blind bird) is then drowned in Armagnac. Although this "specialty" has been officially banned, the practice still continues & can be found in Les Landes. Quite Barbaric! - but then I would think so, being Vegetarian!
from what i know about the ortolan we dont make him blind but just switch the light on but ye its a shame that ppl keep hunting them despite they are going to disapear the best way to save the specie would be to make ortolan farm
Faux,va mieux te renseigner le ricains.
You omitted to not spread misinformation about a culture you dont know.
95% of establishments that make foie gras are small farms that use the original process. They run at you for their turn and its nothing to do with being hungry or w/e since its the liver. They just want to have it filled while being pet on their belly. Like a child or a dog that you would pet.
Isnt the contrast absurd from what you've taken the time to spread and the reality? you had confidence to post this, i cant even imagine what people with less confidence can sometimes say about other cultures. There must be hilariously wild stuff said.
@@agniisourgod5690 When I pet a child or a dog I don't then kill it! foie gras production is banned & against the law in 15 civilized countries!
Sea water creatures only ;)
I am Australian, I have never tried Snails. I get too many out the back that I accidentally step on or they eat the food I am growing in my garden beds. I use Snail bait. They still eat my crops. When it rains, they cover all the grass and even the concrete and hand built paths. The only good snail is one that doesn't eat my plants or gets picked off by the birds, They are not for me. As for Blood Sausage, I have never tried it, but I WOULD love to try it, But I cannot due to some of the ingredients ( I am allergic to).
Frogs are my favourite animal how dare they eat them
@Gamer Paradise it’s a joke
Am doing vomit.pls stop
eat pills and nothing else. dummies don't need food.
I'm Chinese, and we eat all of these 😁
Including Bat soup!

oh what is wrong with Macrone and his Interior Minister, does he want the Muslims to eat frogs and snails.
"I served it to british customers without telling them what it was“ 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't know why there isn't much French restaurants hardly shall we say in England!
I'd rather eat snail than British food.
you're an expert in cuisine !
What about horse meat < la chevaine > ?
I think im vegan now
Lol I'm also considering it.
There is nothing more satisfying than not having to worry about if you got a disease or parasites from the food you are eating. Most case senario you get Salmonella or E. coli from unwashed vegetables 🥗 . Nothing beats salads, rice, vegetables, potatoes, beans, and maybe occasionally some chicken or Turkey.
How sick
And evil
Nah it's delicious
Moroccans eat more snails I’m sure…
Moslems?
Most Muslims do not eat snails@@tftfgubedgukm7911,you krwason
French delicacy is a shocking 😮
In thé Maghreb WE also eat snails its part of are cuisine
Both the frogs and the snails that people eat in France nowadays do not come from France any longer !!
Snails comes from east Europe and frog legs comes from Indonesia.
and this food is not typically french : it also comes from east europe and asia...
In Greece we also eat snails😍and other weird stuff!
Ris de veau sauce financière... Un délice !
Je ne te le fais pas dire :-)
I m french and don t like frogs😝
The lady in red is not french.
So french are from south-east asia..
So disgusting
Cuisses de grenouille - frog eaters
I'm guessing snails is like having sea food like oysters, mussels etc but that's just a guess.
its close to sea snails but since we cook them in a whole different way than other seafood its really really different nothing you can expect of a snail and i dont know if we can compare them to something else
Why are french people then slim
eating snail is so disgusting.
How often do French people eat this ?? Is it once in a blue moon or is it regularly?
i'm 24 and i've eaten snails only 3 times in my life, andouillette and it's big brother Andouille more often, like once a month, i dont like black pudding but it's a common dish in some regions, and frog legs only once. Also beef tongue, wich taste like boiled beef but more melty.
But most french people dont have such a varied diet and simply have a meat piece with carbs like pasta or potates and some veggies on the side on a daily basis
i used to have beef tongue a lot in school, i never ate frog, i tried for the first time snail at the age of 19 (and now i love it but its had to find) but the andouillettes and blood sausage its really common same for brain even if ppl dont always know they eat it
