That was so cute when Mama said, I ate half, might as well eat the rest. Very low key way of a high compliment that he really liked it. Usually he only takes a tiny nibble of something.

I wouldn't serve that in my restaurant. For macarons, given the fluorescent color, it's clearly industrial and of fairly low quality. The macarons are colored, but not fluorescent! If you are looking for industrial macarons that are not expensive and good, I recommend PASQUIER. but homemade is even better! =) For crème brûlée, it's my indulgence, I'm glad you tasted it! =) I advise you to make another video with other French desserts like: Paris-Brest, clafoutis, les éclairs, tarte tatin, gâteau basque, opera, saint-Honoré

At 7:23 the translation is not quite accurate and the meaning of a good item is lost. The translation suggests that a man cannot change, however the real message being said (this is a literal translation) that "even if you drown a man in a barrel of sweetener, if their mind is bitter, the words will remain bitter and they will remain bitter"

I think Macarons and Crêpes are really the french desert with the biggest reputation and the crème brûlée is something all tourists try once because it's original and a bit of a show.
But if you look for french cakes, I'd recommend the tarte tatin (it's a caramelized apple cake that's eaten warm, flipped down, usually with some whipped cream), the Paris-Brest (which is famous), the Tropézienne (It's a big fluffy cake, filled with a layer of crême pâtissière) and Chouquettes (which are admittedly neither a cake nor a dessert but rather pastries that you share with others around some coffee/hot chocolate).

"It would be better without the choclate?" Well sir, I agree with you... That's why those crèpes are serve with cristal sugar, gash, jam, it's all good. Also, depending on region, the crèpe itself can be done with diffrent ingredients like beer in the north, for exemple. (it's good and since it's cooked, the heat just killed all the alcohol and just leave the houblon's flavor.

Nice reactions there and thanks for meeting our culture with pleasure.
It was one too to see it shared to you.
But please, be sure it doesn't allow bubble gum to be part of any desert recipe.
And les français don't speak english vous savez.
    Nous speakons le français.
2:43 We don't say "Excuse my english" or "Excuse my french"
We were saying "Excusez mon français" back in the 90s.

I love what that lady in green said at the end. As a French from Brittany ( our speciality)! Crêpes are best only with a bit of sugar, maybe lemon, there was too much chocolate here, hiding the great taste of natural crêpes 🥞
