china kid is a little offensive. I don't know why. but whenever someone calls chinese people china man my dad gets pissed

This is not a typical french breakfast. For breakfast we get a bowl of cheese and we pour red wine in it and we finish with a baguette full of paté. What are these stereotypes jesus
You forget the strike between each part.

lovemilkshake *cough* y’all have stereotypes for us too! Bet! *cough*
Random_shii Random_shii we do indeed, you only eat at McDonald’s and you don’t know what a vegetable is 🤭 more seriously clichés are fun, but it’s a shame that when you want to show a “french breakfast” you don’t give them an accurate French breakfast, or at least quality products, I wouldn’t give this croissant to my worst ennemy
lovemilkshake this is more traditional french food old recipes and stuff there’s also things in american that are old recipes from like 50 years ago that more modern things have cancelled it out

"instead of milk they pour hot chocolate into the cereal"
No we don't
Ghosty Smiley right like wtf?
Ghosty Smiley I did it all my childhood....
It's chocolate milk, not hot chocolate... Too liquid to be hot chocolate.
when i went to france normandie they did that with some chocolate flavoured cereal
I mean, why would they think that people around the world eat cereals differently from how they do it? Cereals are an American breakfast
Arayan. i personne mdrrr
Eventualy you have a bowl of cereals with milk AND a nice mug of hot chocolate on the side, but... No, no chocolate in the cereal bowls. If they wanted to make a french breakfast, more typical than the cereals or even the croissant (or pain au chocolat) would have been baguette with butter and either strawberry or apricot jam (you don't buy croissant every day, but bread ? Oh, yeah.) And nutella. Don't forget the nutella (I just love nutella with my croissant).
Ils disent des conneries ... "Allright this is it THE FRENCH FOOD ? " NON C PAS CA LA FRENCH FOOD GOGOLE ON MANGE PAS LA VIANDE CRU ON MET PAS DES CÉRÉALES DANS LE CHOCOLAT AU LAIT .
zeynel13 what about the raw cow meat and egg yolk?
@@sainanisa It's called a Steak Tartare and we do eat it. However it's not super common, it's something that can be served in a restaurant or for special occasions during summer. But like, it's not just raw cow and an egg yolk, there's usually a sauce with it some pickles, parsley and such
@@sainanisa raw cow meat exist, it's called a steak tartare, but it's not something you eat at home, more at specialty restaurant (the meat has to be particularly fresh if you eat it raw), you don't just eat it alone, there's usualy a sauce or it can be mixte with something else. And it's not something common, to give you an idea, I'm from a family where we growed up with very diverse food and trying lots of different regional food as well, yet I first tasted a steak tartare when I was 26. I'm 37 now and only had a tartare 3 or 4 times in my life, lots of people never tried it. A tartiflette or a boeuf bourguignon would have been better -those are things we actually eat, more typical.
Hatem Hannachi you don’t put cereals in chocolate milk? Well when I was in French boarding school WE HAVE CEREAL WITH CHOCOLATE MILK ALL THE TIME!!!!!

I'm a 20 year-old French person and i never ate frog, never ate chocolate milk and cereals, i eat pâté like once a year, plus cheese isn't desert but between the lunch and desert... we have delicious pastries and other nice stuff for desert that the kids could have loved... and never, EVER in my life my parents would have let me drink alcohol as a kid. I really feel like this video was made to make fun of french culture and french people. Most of the things are wrong or exaggerated.
Well actually, I don't know about French in the south, but in Bordeaux, kids often taste wine dilluated with water.
Also, as gen z and millenials, almost everyone in middle school already drinks and smokes kinda everywhere in the world :/
Laura Almario I Feel Really Bad For French People, Because They Tried Food That People In France Do Not Eat Daily
Dirty water on your face stfu , i honestly didnt even know about the Bordeaux thing ! And about drinking, thats another problem, depends on the child's education, the friends, the environment, family etc. But as you said it, it's not specific to France, it can happen all around the world, so it doesnt belong in this type of videos about french culture. It's just a wine cliché.
"In france children can have a bit of wine" my entire childhood was a lie :'(

"This is from we don't have dessert land" LMAOOO France has the world's best desserts do they think that crème brûlée, macarons, éclairs au chocolats etc comes from America???
Donnie Brasco Yet they give them tartare and wine?
Donnie Brasco Its quite known that french's gastronomy is one of the best in the world while America is way way behind have u ever seen worlds food contest? The thing is that here they didnt even give the kids any desert as cheese is not a desert but they still give them tartare aka raw beef and wine (idk what you mean you can clearly see them drink it and i didnt see anything claiming that it wasnt wine??)
A little butthurt from a child's innocent comment? Grow a pair
last kid said "this is coke", i'm pretty sure they didn't gave them wine but just coke cause wine dosn't usally taste good for kids and they all liked it (isn't illegal to give alcohol to kids in US ? Cause it is in France)
Blinky88 people tend to forget how closeminded americans are.. they think they are the only country in the world
Not even close to what a real French person would normally eat.
For breakfast, the most eaten meal is baguette, butter, jam (confiture) and coffee/tea.
And no sane personne would ever put hot coco in the cereals !! WTF America ?
Very rarely do French eat Boeuf Tartare.
Some do like it, but we mostly cook it (medium rare !). And no sane French guy would ever go from Boeuf Tartare to Mussels. Pick one you crazy people !
I guess that there are no average lunch in French. It's pretty diverse. And can warry a lot from one region to the next.
Dinner : nope to Frog legs.
Although Englishman like to make that joke, it's really not a dish that's eaten. Some fancy restaurant in Paris, and maybe on the Atlantic Coast, but that's about it.
Dessert : Cheese is not a dessert ! You missed the whole concept of what dessert / cheese is.
PS: you do realize that you have mold in more than just the cheese right ? The bread was also full of mold (levure).
I suppose the wine / alcohol part is kinda true. But mostly for special occasions.

We eat mussels occasionally. Like when I go to the restaurant, I generally take mussels but I never ate mussels on lunch
Dinner : Pâté is not at all a dinner, that's just the entrance. And for the frog legs.. Idk what to say.. I never eat that. I have 14 and I ate frog legs like 3 times in my life.

You could name this video “Adults try to disgust children describing delicious food in a way that sounds gross”
And wtf? Only cheese for dessert? France has sooo many amazing desserts and pastries and sweets in general please don’t be so ignorant!
I come from the north of Italy and sometimes we like to end the meal with a cheese platter (at least where I live) but is not intended as a dessert...
Lisanna right France is where a lot of my pastry chef friends went/wanted to go to study
ikr I'm african and i don't think these would even be that disgusting of they *were* actually dishes in France.
im with you
but, to be honest a cheese platter is offered as a dessert in france and belgium. I dont know how often or in how many places/restaurants but it is true. (from my little experience)
That being said i dont think that if you ask any french or belgian about desserts, cheese will be the first thing that comes to mind :P
@@professorhistoire5349 well... Really unknown even french people don't it those dishes they exist but they are not AT all part of the gastronomy
I am not french either. I concur.

@@justme4741 But I actually heared (or more - had it in my french textbook when the theme was eating habbits) - that you drink your hot chocolate out of bowls more than out of cups. Or your milk for breakfast. And actually normal, cold chocolate milk with cereal isn'T really weird.

Teach us French please😂😂
I'd hate to see how you'd react to what a stoner does with food.
I'm actually doing this
I'm so confused, is this supposed to be a joke or something? The concept of the video is really interesting, but you've litterally made these kids either eat something that is just plainly disgusting and that no one does in France (I'm looking at the chocolate milk in the cerals- hi) or either food that we usually eat once in a while and that many people dislike!
Saying "These are kind of food you can eat in French restaurants" is true, but saying that this is what French people eat on a regular basis is just so dumb and wrong- There were so much more usual exemples of traditionnal French food that you could have made these children taste...
Honnestly I'm disappointed. I thought I was going to see a serious video that would give children the envy to taste what they see by themselves, or would surprise them but I was not expecting a video where children would just be disgusted in French food :I
I agree. They are suppose to educate these kids and show them what actual French people eat, not make them ignorant!
lol, no one's going to be interested in watching videos with kids eating delicious and common food,. that'll be too boring,. the weirder the foods are, the more they'll get interesting reactions,. and the more viewers will enjoy it too,.
They should be happy to be able to eat expensive food like steak tartare...
LO I am maybe the only person in France who put hot chocolate on cereals??? XD (I thought other kids did so in my childhood though...)
@@tet0889 Actually good some TV shows are well done in that case. Kids got informed of what they've just eaten (and appreciated) AFTER the tasting. It's both interesting and educative... Kids understand that they could eat what they don't like. It is just a matter of recipes.
Im not even french but i know French people dont even eat this
POURQUOI?? Les enfants......vin.......pourquoi??
Ikr! I totally agree! Plus the way they were spitting out the food was disgisting! I know they're small but they should should still know that it isn't polite! It's not like they're 2 years old anymore. They are old enough to understand.

No I am just noob 😂😂 (I'm 13 yo 😑)
Well not really, its not rare that children are allowed to drink a bit or at least taste what their parents are drinking, IMO it also prevents binge drinking when you show your kid what pleasure you can find in drinking wine as an esthète.

Since when kids drink wine? Since when do french kids use hot chocolate as regular milk? Since when the desert is cheese? Since when do we eat frog legs, tartare or mussels on a daily basis?
I agree those are indeed French, but we have so many other things that tastes better and that we eat more often. Those are not representative of what we eat everyday in France (exept for the croissant & cheese)
Ryuuinjapan It was Pepsi lol
I'm shock too. My Mama was so angry to. 😂
All right :
- Nobody in France eats frog legs
- Nobody in France pours chocolate milk in their cereals (btw, French people generally have jam and butter on bread in the morning, not croissant).
- French kids never eat steak tartare (raw meat) or mussels, or duck liver paté, or blue cheese, or even drink wine (seriously?)
- France probably has the best deserts on the planet !
That's it WatchCut, you just totally lost your street cred!

As a French person I can say that the “breakfast” is a mortal sin
Please don't tell that there are no desserts in France......
Cheese is just a step between meat and dessert.
Next time try French pastries as tarte aux pommes, tarte au citron meringuée, éclair au chocolat, religieuses......
Antoinette Toulouse ou des yaourts. C'est bon les yaourts ?
All these food are very cliché, of course there is dessert, and kids don't drink wine until 18 years old, mussels are generally served with chips, we don't put hot chocolate in our cereals (maybe they have get chocapic (which chocolate cereals) mixed up because when you put it in your milk, the milk turn into black seems hot chocolate...
So true , I think French has one of the best desserts of the world, its reknown worldwide.
Elara VII Well, many kids actualky drink wine when they're little, it's a usual thing in some families that the kids use their pinkie to taste wine

CalCrazy I’m sure it’s not on purpose. They tend to use foods kids wouldn’t like at that age, but I think it’s better this way. If the kids had loved these foods they wouldn’t have some super funny reactions
You are sooo right
sure, funny for non french, perhaps. Look reactions elsewhere and translate from french to english. Spit on other countries and manipulate innocent kids is soooooooooooo funny!

My favorite part is : promise me you'll never tell mommy😂
That cute kid on the start of the video will go places. He can live in diff places w/o being picky on food hahaha
As French I am somewhat offended, especially with the cereal, never seen or heard of it before.
- I've never seen anyone or even ever heard about someone pouring hot chocolate instead of milk in their cereal (but the idea is cool lol)
- Eating cereal and croissants on the same breakfast is weird
- Children don't usually eat tartare (the raw meat)
- I didn't know mussels weren't common in the US, it's actually good lol
- Frog legs arn't something very usual to eat, I've never tried some
- Paté and cheese are awesome but we don't eat cheese as a desert, normally it's between the desert and the main course (however there's people who only eat cheese as there's people who only eat a desert)
- The coke in the wine glass 😂 (and of course we don't give wine to children, although I tasted some in my mother's glass a few times as a child 😎)
Great video anyways ^^ the kids are always hilarious 😂
pieulpe I think that in the wine regions the children sometimes get to drink wine a bit at least I did on special occasions like birthday or other bigger "parties" in the family or with close friends
Lucien Daout When I was a child I thought wine was disgusting and I didn't even get why people were drinking that haha
I don't understand : what's so wrong about eating cereals with chocolate milk? It's milk anyway...^^
french pbody I didn't said it was wrong ! I even said it was a cool idea 😜 Also there's some cereal which are so chocolated that the milk almost becomes chocolate milk (je parle des cocopops si tu vois ce que je veux dire mdr)
Oh pardon!
We do not eat cereales with chocolate milk, I have never seen someone do that..check your information. And people in France rarely or never eat frogs leg and snails
E C yeah ur right but its a traditional meal tho
what about escargot
it’s about tradition not about what you eat in your house
Coolen Rose "tradition" wtf, it's not a tradition.
E C I put chocolate in my milk sometimes.
That's right! Us, french babies, can drink our wine and then we have a cigarette thinking "C'est la vie en rose, bébé'"
