YES! video I've been waiting for. Most casual fans don't rank the gloves because they don't care enough about the difference, but I'm glad you have! In some ways I find their unique intricacies more interesting than the films themselves.
Awesome video, buddy! Part 1 has and always will be my favorite glove. The brazed tips with all of that red coloring is stunning, IMO! I still love it in part 2 as well.

I realize for the sake of the video you can't cover them all but there's a lot more gloves used throughout the franchise than most people realize. The Dylan glove from New Nightmare should have gotten an honorable mention. IE. just the knives taped over the kid's hand. I know it's no effort to make, but cool none the less.
My favorite is the Part 4 glove. My first into to the franchise, so kinda holds a special place in my heart. Sadly, the glove seemed to already have taken a beating during filming, as when he's walking along the backs of the pews and taunting Alice, the pinky finger is entirely missing for a few moments. Second favorite is the original. It looked and felt heavy. Like a true weapon. Least favorite is the bone glove. Looks too cartoonish. Freddy built the glove for practicality, not...whatever the hell the bone glove is trying to do. I hated Freddy's Dead except for one part...love seeing all the "early prototype" gloves hanging in the basement, hinting at Freddy experimenting with other designs before perfecting the final design.
I have a Part 1 Glove made by Christopher Grantner. Love the hell out of it. I had one of the really cheap KMart kid sized Freddy Gloves when i was a kid. Told myself i'd have a real one some day.
Hey Chris. Love the FK content. I’ve got a pt.1 from DARK DREAM DESIGN and a pt.4 diner/apple glove from DEMENTED GLOVE WORKS… love em! Any tips for maintaining the leathers so it doesn’t get all fucked up?
I never made the connection that the New Nightmare poster glove was the mechanical claw from the opening scene and not the hero glove from that movie, even though it's totally obvious. 😳
I remember having the Joe D Mack remake glove when he was actually making and selling but it just didn’t do it for me and and let it go on eBay. Still wished I had my Anders New Nightmare glove !:((🎃🔪

Freddy's glove in the remake would have to be tig welded. I went to welding school and I know u can't weld copper to steel with mig u need tig welding
