Longtime viewer here...actually since the beginning! It's sweet to see how big the kids have grown! I've been vegan for 32 years...and I dont worry about diets. I focus on just making sure I get the right balance of vitamins and nutrients...and dont focus on diets. Diets in general don't work!

I was eating spring rolls 3 times a week at one point. I found the square wrapper, and it made it so much better for me to wrap the rolls. This makes me want to make some today. I use peanut butter powder to make my peanut sauce.
Thanks for sharing this great idea on eating lots of greens! Sometimes i get tired of eating a big bowl of salad.

When this type of coincidence happens it just tells me I'm on the right path! I've been on the same diet for the last two months to 🎉, and just like you i love it and feel energized. The main idea is that we need live foods to have energy, nothing that is dead can give us that. So first in the morning lemon water, then lots of fruits and veggies juice made with the slow juicer to give us that oxygen high, then a salad with those sauces in the video ❤, at night our body is starting to prepare to sleep so we don't need that oxygen rush and can eat something cooked, some whole grains like quinoa with veggies or soups.....everyone should try it ❤

It's so satisfying to watch you eat rolls. I sadly cannot bite anything and struggle to eat veggies right now with my jaw issues. I'll be following your journey and going on a journey of my own - getting double jaw surgery in January. I won't be able to chew at all or eat solid food for 3 months! It will be a long recovery. I really hope one day to be able to have a healthy bite like yours :(

sorry for not seeing the comment! I am overall very glad I got it. I def still have like lingering dysmorphia and feel like I still have a massive chin (it'll always be a smidge bigger then I want) but also my surgeon said that the muscles build up in order to close your mouth around it so that's something.... I do know the first few weeks I HEAVILY regretted it and was so scared but it def got better and honestly the recovery was faster than I expected (I used Dr. Beaudry who's apparently really well known??) After like a week or two I was eating pasta, potatoes, soft bread, etc. The first days it was soup mushed through a strainer and sucked up through a straw. Def get like yummy baby food and stuff you like. Get sauces you like, because you deserve to get good flavor. The biggest thing was really the swelling, the skin around my mouth being all messed up and flaky, and the damn ice pack wrap things. Also having to sleep kinda sitting up. Just ton's of swelling. But yeah, I'm glad I did it overall... but I obviously wish I never had to do it.. and that ill always have metal in my face now (unless it causes issues)

The best diet is the diet that balance everything plus working out daily! I am 35 years old and have 3 kids. I do green and fruits smoothie dairy,work out 4-5 days a week + Sauna 15 mins after work out. I do IF 12:8 ( fast 12 hours and eat 8 hours) I eat whole food and I am not vegan. I would said I eat 20% meat, 60% veggies,20% carbs 2 meals a day and I feel amazing.
Great job Mommy Tang!! I’m glad you found something that makes you feel good and that works for you. I eat a whole food diet too. I basically eat how my parents/grandparents ate- cook everything from scratch with minimum processed ingredients. I don’t really eat wheat (maybe noodles once a month) but I’m Asian too so I couldn’t give up rice 😅. I just try to fill my plate with lots of stir fry and curry veggie with a variety of fresh veggie and herbs on the side. I also had to count my protein grams for a while to make sure I was getting enough. I’m not veg/vegan but don’t eat too much meat so getting enough protein was tricky until I got the hang of it.
I forgot to mention you do look really good!! You’re healthy glow is coming through!!

Food is very simple, Vegans always try to make simple foods complicated, just eat what you want in moderation that is very healthy lifestyle, to be obsessive over food isn’t healthy. I saw this one quote that said -you eat healthy, you just die healthy lol love it so true.

Those wraps remind me the spring roles I have tried in Thailand, have to try them with tofu stripes looks yummy 🤍💙🤎would love to find those sesame leafs here in France, never seen them anywhere, maybe have to ask in Asian markets.
I have been vegan since May 2014 and I primarily eat a whole food diet too, but I do have processed vegan foods here and there and sometimes bread (because it is so good here in France) haha but I am curious to try out cutting out gluten for a long period of time like a couple of months and see how I feel although I eat bread rarely.

I cannot figure out how you manage such big bites without choking. I cannot figure out where you put all that food. It's just amazing to me. If I ate like that i would weigh 500 pounds. You certainly do make the food look good though. I have some brown rice wrappers and some white rice too, but the texture of them just turns me off. I'm a really picky eater and at 76, I'm getting worse!
