Been watching mommytang since way back in the days. I don’t watch mukbang channels at all but MT’s personality and authentic style of videos are just so entertaining to watch. Id choose to watch MT struggle eating a meal a day while being relatable af over someone just sitting there chugging food any day.

Idk if this is a popular opinion, but I’ve been watching you for literal years and I really really miss your old content where you’d cook and eat, but most importantly tell stories and talk to us!! These vlog clips are cute but they’re all sped up and have words on the screen rather than you really talking to us idk. I miss it I feel like your personality is so vibrant and your stories were so entertaining. Now I feel like you just talk about dieting and it’s kind of triggering tbh

Hey mommy tang ! Idk if you already know and prefer your kale dry but I find taking a little bit of lemon juice and a small small bit of oil like less than a tsp and putting that on your kale and massaging it (like exactly how you did to mix the sauce on your noodles) helps make it easier to chew and less bitter too! Just a tip I learned that has made me obsessed with kale now so thought I would share :)
But it makes the kale taste more grassy.
I'm definitely gonna try that sounds tastier too lol
@@daisylover1987 that’s so interesting i’m totally the exact opposite I think it tastes grassier not doing it but definitely worth trying both ways if someone is looking to incorporate more kale into their salads
Honestly watching this channel has helped my family quite a bit. My father was just diagnosed with Alpha Gal Syndrome... caused from a tick bite from the lone star tick (they are everywhere in the US). It makes him allergic to mammal products except for seafood and avian... my father is a venison/beef/pork lover and now eating any of it sends him directly to the hospital. He has been in and out of the hospital since November, and just found out 5 weeks ago he had this and it was what was making him very sick. We never knew anything/paid much attention to things that didn't have some kind of mammal product in it, and now we have to. He has to have so many vegan alternatives now because of this... the Nocow chocolate bars you found, my father absolutely loves them, even found some nocow chocolate donuts. Vegan cheese has been very interesting... anything except Daiya has been absolutely gross... making alfredo has been very interesting since you use cashews and chicken broth to get a nice, white, thick milky like texture when its blended. Having to use almond milk for a lot of things now too has been different xD but he wasn't a big salad eater, but now he eats 2-3 bags of asian salad mix every week and loves it. My dad loves smores and thought he would never be able to have them ever again after he found out about the alpha gal, and marshmallows have gelatin, which he cannot have.. but vegan marshmallows are absolute BOMB. They imo taste better than reg marshmallows, but still taste exactly like one. I almost sent him to the hospital again making him something that used basil pesto, completely forgetting that you use parm cheese in basil pesto typically. But we have used ideas for food options from this channel and its been better since a lot of it is absolutely delicious.

How does barley tea look like and what brand do you usually drink? I love tea and usually drink green, black, oolong teas. Would like to try something new.
You should try powerhungry sweet potato tortillas and make burritos out of them. But instead of using coconut flour, use chickpea flour. They're freaking amazing! The recipe uses chickpea flour and sweet potato, so you get extra protein and a sweet and savory flavor
