So far, the best review-comparison video that I've seen. Especially noting the spraying angles of the nozzles at both brands, and part on using the timer for MistKing. Thank you!
the Mistking is really the best way to go in my opinion plus they have great customer service.i keep Parsons chameleons which need a lot of water.I use a 55-gallon plastic barrel as my reservoir, i set it and forget it for a while lol
I use the Monsoon Multi to keep up the humidity in my mushroom ecosphere above 90%.... I have grown huge king stropharia mushrooms with the help of this. Seems reliable to me but I have used it only 3 months... The key is to use only use distilled water so there are no calcium deposition in the spray nozzles.
I found your channel a couple years ago and now I own my very own piebald veiled chameleon! I wasn't planning on buying one (and my favourite Chamelons are jacksons)but my boyfriend found him and he was on sale because he is already a year old. I've had him for about a month now and my monsoon solo sprayhead has already become calcified and gunked up so now I'm considering buying a better misting system!
Thanks for the informative video. Just wondering as i see you have both; could you get away with using the fogger instead of a mister for keeping chameleons? thanks
Also, is it possible to change the nozzle? I'm interested in changing it to a 360° spinning nozzle to mount two to the roof. This is to be used for gourmet mushroom growing.
Thanks for the vid. Im into the techno of it all. It seems the timer on the MistKing is a lot more advanced then the monsoon. I would really like to see a bluetooth app to control the features. Based on your cycles how long does the 5 gallon bucket of water last for the MistKing?
If the problem was pump pressure, the flow of water would be equally as weak from all the nozzles, not 1 working really well and 1 not working at all. . Just saying.
YOu say they're using weaker pumps on the newer exo terra units so where in the video do you have proof of that? Are you not going to mention head pressure or anything like that when you say they're weak? It's a pump so they're not going to act the same way in every setup because there's a lot of factors that can vary the pressure, things like bends in the tubing/how high and long of a run the tubing is and most certainly the fact that most people are not going to be using legit distilled water at all times but they'll claim they are.
i own both RS400 and the new multi and have opened the head on both and I can varify the pumps are the exact same pump, same label same ratings everything. I did exchange my first rs400 as it was really loud, the one i exchanged it for was drastically more quite and is still running now ( 5 years in fingers crossed ) I use tap water and just have to de calicify the jets once a year. I am running 3 jets, tons of super fine mist.
@@keepastures7894 used to use vinegar, now I use distilled water in the tank and have not cleaned the jets once, been going this way for over a year now.
Thanks for posting this... Even if it's years old it is still helpful to me.
Nice video
You just SOLD a MIST KING

This is what I'm watching this for. Planning my first grow and need it to be as self automated as possible.

Woah that sounds like a cool chameleon!
That monsoon is noisy! I have a Mist King and need another system. After seeing this, I’m getting another Mist King. It’s quiet.
Mistking looks like its for the kinda person who prefers linux over windows.
Guess im getting a mist king! Bout to get a Panther or Jackson's chameleon. I have a repti breeze LED XL 24w 24L '48H
Mist kings are nice but expensive the new monsoons work great for the money .no issues with mine going on a year.
I wish you'd focused on the noise of the mistking. If I want to set it up inside I want to know the noise level.
Do you ever have problems with flooding? Great video

Can you put a mistking nozzle on a monsoon multi ?
Also, is it possible to change the nozzle?

My solo runs awesome

I was thinking about using a smart plug so I can control through my phone
Do you know of a misting system for central air conditioners
Is it possible to change the pump on the RS multi? To make it stronger?
What ya use for the mist?

Are the pumps in the monsoon replaceable?
Nope!
I have nocturnal and diurnal animals can I still use the mistking? Or do I have to buy 2?
do they drink the water? i dont see why not have one that runs when one might be awake and one is sleeping if your trying to keep humidity up.
#500!
It's too loud the mister

Monsoon has nothing on a mistking lol there's no other mister as good as a mistking!
