I like the specs, lower weight, and higher speed of the new RX9 Ultra. I have the RX7 Ultra and it’s been a great bow-it’s the best aiming/shooting bow that I’ve ever owned! Do you notice much of a difference in speed between the RX8 and the new RX9? Thanks again to you and everyone on your team for the great content!
Hi Bill. I still have the RX-7 and it has been great for me. Is there any significant difference in the 8 or 9 that you would say makes it worth upgrading to the 9?
i agree, i like a longer bow too, being that i am 6' tall. i find 37" to 38" ata to fit me best. i also like a regular cable slide more than the roller guard type, i have found them much easier to tune.
Interesting. I have never seen that difference in tune but I do notice that each bow I set up likes a slightly different type of grip pressure. Maybe that is related to design elements like the cable guard.
I havent shot a new hoyt since about 2005,until i shot the rx8 a couple weeks ago, i cant put my finger on it but it felt like driving a luxury car in a way.
I think it is the lack of recoil that really grabs me. It just feels dead. It is a very odd feeling compared to the way the older generation bows feel. Have a great day.
HBX 25 - 30 (in quarters -> A - K!!!) HBX gen 4 -> pick YOUR length via mod and you will get 4 options (1/4 A - D) Now, gen 4 is a bit more efficient and THATS what the new bow is all about...
I am not nearly as technical as I used to be. In the past you really had to understand bows to get them to shoot well. Now they are so good you can just set them up and you are pretty much good to go.
Always gotta take time off the day and tune into Bill Winke videos
I appreciate that kind of support! Thanks for the comment and have a great day.
Always enjoy seeing new hoyts and reading about them. Still shooting my satori and rampage xt . Crazy how the cams have changed
That thing checks all the boxes. Thanks for the review

Great video Bill as always. Extremely informative compared to others that just emphasize on the animal harvest. Crazy knowing you only have 44k subs.
I kind of wonder about that myself sometimes, but I do appreciate the comment and support. Have a great day.
Great video Bill of a fantastic bow!!
Thanks for the comment. I have been impressed for sure. Have a great day.
Always love your content Bill your the man!!!
Thanks Andy. I appreciate it. Have a great day.

Just ordered mine Bill!
I am sure you will like it. Good luck.
@@bill-winke Uploading the video of my selection to my channel now. It was between that and the PSE Mach 33. Hoyt won me over this year.

Awesome Bow Video! Enjoyed it Brother!
Thanks and have a great day.
So where are they giving these away at.
Bass pro shop
Wouldn't that be nice.
Bass pro isn’t a Hoyt dealer

Enjoy all your videos! If u need someone to give that rx8 to I’ll be happy to take it off your hands lol! Good luck the rest of the year
You and a few thousand others. I think I will hold onto that one in case I need a backup someday. Have a great day and thanks for the comment.
I heard they are going to be the most expensive bow of the year
My dad always buys the latest and greatest and I just buy the 2-year-old model off of him works out good for me 75% off
Got to get Jordan one of the SD models to review
I agree. I will look into that. Thanks for the comment.
The HBX also has 1/4 length-adjustment... I thought you know the RX8...
I didn't even realize that. For some reason I just assumed 1/2 inch because that has been the standard industry wide since I can remember.
The HBX also had hard and "super" hard wall... I thought you know the RX8...

Bill! When are you switching over to team mathews!?
Man, I have shot Hoyt since about 1995. I think my bow hand would grow warts and shrivel up if I tried to shoot anything else!
We're the 20% off promo code lol
Love my RX1 ultra wouldnt trade it for an RX8 or 9 or any other im 68 and put my carbon spyder turbo away. To hard to hunt with when its cold
I don't remember the RX 1. I don't know if I ever had one. I have the RX 3. That is a good bow too. Have a great day.
Hey Bill, what is that Kuhl jacket that you’re wearing?
They don't think they make that one anymore. Jordan bought that for me a couple years ago at Scheels. Haven't been able to find it since.
