If your buying any poultry it's recommended to not wash raw poultry for cross contamination reasons as the splash and small microbes could wind up anywhere in the kitchen. If you harvest your own poultry I would recommend rinsing it outside for the same contamination reasons

what type of oilmis best to use for frying
Peanut oil is best for frying when you use it on a solid base but if your allergic i would youse regular cannula
How long most likely to fry?
Usually somewhere between 10-20min
I did 15 mins. Well done.
I hope you enjoyed the hen and hopefully you had a wonderful Thanksgiving
