It’s insane, I saw this stuff on the market 15 years ago. Every tablet today full of stuff and with an excellent quality display. Why still there are no one thin bright good design even stationary digital frame 😃😌😣
Thank you for the review. It was detailed and I really appreciate seeing the different options up close, how they seem to look up close, in hand. I’m sorry that some people in these comments are a hilariously angry at nonsense. Anyway, thanks.
Hi. Do i have to "accept" new photos within the frame-device? I look for a device for grandpa, where he doesnt have to handle anything. I just want it to be there and send images without having him to click something. Which of the shown devices does this?
The first frame is so slow that transition looks like it is from 1999 Anyway touch screen is not good on picture frames you don't want to clean the fingerprints everyday Focus on quality image and transfer method is the best reviews that you could provide us
My benchmark for a digital photoframe is the meural canvas. Compared to that I really didnt like the cozyla. The colors were too punchy and the glare was killing! I also couldn't find anyway to remove the date from the screen which was annoying. The app and the frame in general was quite laggy. I will try the aura next, seems to have good reviews. Wish the meural came with more storage options
Thanks for sharing your experience. You can disable the time and location in the Cozyla app. Go to Edit Channel > Shared Album > Display Settings > Uncheck this option: "Show photo/video's created date and description on the device"
@@ToolsElectroDIY thank you very much. It was a gift for my friend so didn't have much time to explore it further. I'll share this tip with him though 😊
Yeah it's a terrible review, I guarantee once it's set up you don't move it much. Didn't once mention anything about the only thing you should care about which is how the photos actually look (screen tech and resolution)
I’m looking at getting a digital photo frame and I think this comparative review is really good. Personally I like to know if you can rotate it (automatically or not). Many elderly people, who many people buy these for as gifts, prefer sometimes to hold a frame in their hands while they talk about a picture or to see it up close. That is the perfect reason to be able to flip it automatically. Even non-elderly or non-children, like to sometimes look closely at a new picture that pops up just out of curiosity and end up picking it up and it’s nice when there is an auto rotate option available for that kind of purpose. Also, when showing a guest a bunch of photos on the frame it’s nice to have that option in the moment on the frame it’s nice to be able to pic it up and show it in a better format basically if the picture looks better in a certain mode (vertical/horizontal) and you want to show it in the format that looks better for that picture.

Couldn't agree more!
How much time is allowed per video? Or is it capable of presenting video clips?
Not sure if there’s a max limit. No zoom
Why does everything have alexa i dont want a mic on my picture framw
You can mute it using the physical switch
@ToolsElectroDIY perfect my moms weird about that stuff lol can't say i blame her.
Actually I like the Nixplay better, I don’t believe I will be flipping from landscape to portrait enough to care that it rotates
Thanks for sharing your experience
Which one did you buy?

All of them does it without the receiving end to do accept action.

For most of these can I upload photos long distance? I’m in Australia and want to send photos to my Parents in America
Yes, as long as you have Wi-Fi connection, it doesn’t matter where it is
who cares if it doesnt auto rotate, what are you doing? Changing the orientation of the frames every 5 minutes?
I care.

@isaacm6560 I got the Aura fram for my mom.and she loves it! Its also compatible with live photos and can play videos! Also has unlimited storage!
For real..I came here looking for details on how good the screen looks / viewing angles, not rotation lmao

The picture switching on the Cozyla is damn laggy.
The Nixplay is so much smoother.
There was a firmware update that improved the pagination.
I wish you provided info on the length of video upload, ie 15 or 30 seconds or more. Thanks.
Noted!
Can you turn off the captions on the cozyla?
Yes you can.
Thanks! How about the date? Can that be turned off too - because I see it in every Cozyla review
I think the Auro Carver is specifically only a landscape frame.
I wonder why.
Using which frames can you email a photo with a caption as the subject such that the caption text will appear on the frame? Thanks!
yes you can
Does any of them have subscriptions and how much?
Not sure about current pricing.
can also use music player ?
Yes
which one is the best option for video & sound?
Cozyla. See the latest 17" version here ua-cam.com/video/fQEEADMULO8/v-deo.html which also supports video / audio playback.
Can you pinch zoom on cozyla?
No
Such a clear and concise explanation. Saved me time. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
@@ToolsElectroDIY btw, may I ask if u have tried the google photos function on an Android phone in-depth?
