So happy to see this video! I want to visit and really thinking of Tanzania as a forever home regardless of age. I was worried about that but not anymore! Continued success to you, peace and blessings, hope to see there.☺️
Dr Margaret was talking about Affirmative action in higher education with the Supreme court ended on June 29,2023.Now colleges can discriminate against race with the backing of the Supreme court ending affirmative action.America is turning back to Jim Crow days for sure.America is under God's judgement. Thank you for sharing her story and keep up the great work.
Greetings T3 and Me, awesome conversation with our grandmother. The program that grandmother was referring to, but could not remember is called Affirmative Action. Racism is alive and well in the United States of America and wherever Europeans or White peoples are or reside. It’s a part of their dividing conquer strategy around the world. I will come visit before I transition Into the after. Continue to enjoy the continent of Africa, Tanzania and I look forward to your next episode
I would love to live abroad in Africa, but lets be honest you must be financially prepared to live abroad long term no matter what country it is. You must have a sustainable income, plan, plan, plan ahead learn and be realistic about the cost of living in another country..😮😮
I'm in this boat. Would luv to but don't have the resources and too old 64, to acquire it now. And they always say they don't employ us in these countries. But maybe one day I'll be able to visit just to touch the earth there.
Don't count yourself out just because you are over 60 years old. If you receive social security, you can live inexpensively and comfortably in Rwanda (next door to Tanzania). Check out the UA-cam interviews with seniors who live there. Have faith!
The Trayvon Martin story was it for me. It wasn't just the coldness of the killing, it was watching an entire society demonize that boy after he was murdered. Everything they could say to no put any blame on the murderer they did. Remember Geraldo ..."Its the hoodie !" Honestly ...Trayvon and Tamir is when i made the decision to move back home. That was it for me
I wish I was financially able to move to Africa. Even though I work for the federal government in high school and I served in the military for one hitch, I still don't feel like I am part of America. You understand what I'm saying?
@@scribustore Abssolutely feel you. Just so you know...Most african countries, the overall cost of living is about one tenth of what it is in the US. You can get a very decent apartment for $500/600 per month in a place like Johannesburg South Africa where a lot of Af.Americans are moving to Uber ride that's $30 here is about $5 there.
@@scribustore Trust me you can move here as the cost of living is dirty cheap. Come take a visit. Well if you are a city person and would be comfortable in only a city setting it might be a little different but there are options in Africa. I am moving to Kenya by the end of year. Go on youtube and look at some of the house prices plus if you come and build the home yourself it is even cheaper.
From one Zee to another Z it's cheaper than what you expect it is once you get over here and see what it is you going to be taking trips back and forth working in the USA I moved from America last year I'm in Lagos and been here two yrs so far with very little savings but consent income

I'm a senior female from America. I moved to Kigali Rwanda in June 2024. In December for visa purpose I have leave Rwanda for 5 days. I'm not sure where to spend the 5 days. I'm also willing to relocate. If I can find a place where I can meet other female seniors. Sometimes I get really lonely and depress here. My spirit is not settle in Rwanda.
She reminds me of my grandma a little bit rest in peace my granny i wish she could have seen me move to Africa from America she would have been proud of me
I salute mama marget because alot of older people and grand parents would be so scared to come to Africa especially without there grandchildren hope she can encourage one of her grandchildren to relocate and invest into Africa
T3 We gotta do a Zoom one day from Guyana. I remigrated back after 34 years because after Trayvon, Floydd and The Donald I honestly couldn't do it anymore. Il
It is such a shame to hear that Black mothers had to suppress their children's natural development to protect them from the rogue and oppressive systems they were in. I think this has a very negative and schizophrenic impact as the children grow into adulthood. To comply with the instructions of anti-blackness is a disaster to the psyche!
I have lived in 4 countries in Africa and living in Africa is superior to living in America by far. My quality of life has improved 1000%. There is absolutely no point living in America as a black person when you can live in peace in Africa.

Same here. It's better to plan for Africa. If you have housing in Africa, you can manage with a small income, even with a family.
