- In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2005 mitsubishi fuso box truck. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this truck while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this truck designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Mitsubishi really knows how to design a solid work truck. I've had experience in the shop and out on the road with these trucks. The performance is good and the engine (both the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder) is remarkably quieter than an Isuzu. Handling and suspension is about the norm for a cabover medium duty truck. I used to drive my shops FM260, It's managed to handle a great deal of work with very little downtime.
This is the single nicest cube truck on the planet. Whoever owned it last must have actually taken care of it. You never see them this nice.
i love this truck
This Mitsubishi canter, if Indonesia only has a manual transmission, then there are engine variants starting from the smallest, namely 110ps then 125ps and 136ps, this truck is very much in demand in Indonesia Because this truck is very tough, almost all companies must have this truck, it can be used for loads that exceed capacity even though it is dangerous.
Love from Indonesia Dude
And one more thing, this Mitsubishi canter doesn't have many accessories in the cabin, this truck is often used as a modification material, and this truck is very fast in its class, it can travel speeds of 150 kph
I saw 3 different radiators: the one in front of the engine is obviously to cool the engine, the one under the passenger side is probably the A/C condenser, and the one behind the driver is probably for the automatic transmission (to cool the transmission fluid).
Omg these things are EVERYWHERE in my country. Nice to see a review on it
from what country are you? i am from panama and we also have this trucks
Singapore. We also have the FUSO super great trucks
ohh that is awesome. i live in panama in central america
In the United States, the Isuzu NPR (who's platform is shared with the Mitsubishi Fuso btw) is the most popular medium-duty utility truck on the market.
When you tilt the passengers' seat forward, there's a lever you use to lift the base up to access the engine from inside the cabin.
I know this video is really old, but damn that engine sounds awesome! Very quiet for a diesel!
I don’t think Japanese automakers make big diesel engines for their vehicles.
Hi Saabkyle I like all your videos about Cars and others vehicles and I keep enjoying it watching, I am from Detriot area Michigan
Okay im gonna come to ur houee and steal ur money
Ah, finally, after I search for the Philippines, Indonesia, and now I found this kind of channel from the United States ones!
YOU FINALLY MADE A VIDEO WHICH YOU TURNED ON THE HIGH BEAM! (children say yay) 👏
wow they have auto transmission, cruise control, tilt steering wheel in a commercial car. Here in Indonesia it's rare to see commercial trucks with these features.
I've always wanted a 2005 Mitsubishi Fuso FE145 Turbo Diesel!
I like Hino better. those JO8C engine sound really good.
Great Engine sound. My dad has one but with no turbo,no cd player only radio and no cruise control,no power windows.
That engine sounds great!
I love the work truck. I especially love the turbo diesel. It is nice man!
I'm really surprised about this truck that is having an automatic transmission.
Surya Candra they've been making these automatic for like 30 years
@@jiggs509 Must have been in America only as they've been manual only until about the last 10 years or so in Australia
LongDong John yeah us Americans love our automatics haha
yeah in indonesia this truck is only in manual :(
@@longdongjohn6588 I own Mits Fuso FE 3.1 turbo diesel 1989 with Auto transmission..
So they must been making them automatic for longer than 32 years I think...
These things can really go quick as long as you don't max the weight out..
Such beautiful machines
i love these trucks idk why
These little trucks sure are fast
@TheKoreanX i know, i was jusy being sarcastic, and also when the truck has auxilary objects such as snow plow, crane, etc. You need the motor to spin faster so the altenator produces more power. If you'll ever notice, a dumpster truck picking up a dumpster, most of the time, the operator will adjust the idle speed to high because you need that extra power.
Am I the only one here who expected this truck to have a manual gearbox?
Exactly
+Deramatic Me too
Deramati339393933939393939393939你還以為我覺得93933993
Deramatic no
This truck is more or less designed for city use, so auto is more convenient.
@jeepersman11 sometimes trucks like this have PTO driven accesories (pump, compressor) and you need the extra rpms to operate them properly
4.9 liter diesel v8 ?? looks to be a inline 4 or 6 to me..
Yeah I think that was a mistake. They're a 4.9 turbo 4 cylinder.
the cab is the same basicly as the w series gm trucks and the izusu cab overs. there are a lot of shared parts.
Mitsubishi doesn't share with GM or isuzu
the Mitsubishi Fuso canter 7th generation is assembled in
Cairo, Egypt
Tramagal, Portugal
Cainta, Rizal, Philippines
idle speed is handy for cold starts
first time i saw a automatic truck... wow amazing...
Great video as always!
Out of ignorance; what's the point of controlling the idling speed? Never seen that before.
Thats because of low engine revving (its a diesel) and could suffer damage if theres were a very low temp outside, also for operating machinery that uses power of the (dump truck, tow tuck, ect)
Also for really heavy loads it helps with faster starts and less fuel usage lol
+panterask8r14 mainly to operate the PTO in case the truck is equipped with a boom or crane, tipper.
Clorox Bleach I see you everywhere! Why do you follow me!
Hi its called a idle up control used in cold climates. Also if you convert to a tilt tray tow truck you would use the idle up control to extend or retract the tray or Pto use .this truck also has an exhaust brake located on the wiper stalk
@Ty4ons Yeah -- when the engines get that large, you still have to keep their design simple, so a 16 litre V8 makes a lot more sense than a 16 litre V32! :P Because they run at relatively low speed, it doesn't matter so much that each cylinder is monster!
The other thing is that they have to run reliably for many thousands of hours while producing large amounts of torque. Different durability requirements mean they often have lower power/torque per litre.
Go Diesel! I don't know why, I just love them!
Nice n clean!
EVERLAST!!!!!
Can't imagine crashing that
i can imagine playing this in beamng drive
I love Japanese trucks they are so cool.
Nice truck & cute horn.

thumbs up man! all your videos are cool even the ford ones lol j/k i watch & rate all your vids thank you for making them!!! =D
@saabkyle04 thats what keeps us coming back lol. ( that and no one does it like the way you do. ) i drove an npr wiht a 5 litre diesel. ( bought one shortly thereafter. ran a courier service out of it. ) i believe the engine brake button is on the right hand side of the gauge clustr. above the button for the window lock. i know this truck has one.
nice truck i will get the same and nice vid
You are not alone
You love that place you been there like 20 times
You really need to do a vehicle like this again Kyle ;-)
In Southeast Asia also called Mitsubishi Fuso Canter
there is also a "jake" brake a mechanical engine brake, you cant really demonstrate it while its sitting still. its usually on the stalks like hte npr's
Rick says "Oh hail the fuso!"
@ saabkyle04
In that location Can you do the startup & test drive off all of your work truck series videos?
"Let's go ahead and shut her down." *switches to shot with the engine still on* *facepalm*
you should do the chevy dump truck right beside it.....if you havent already
nice truck
nice video,very intéressant
I'm confused, but what does the option to allow to change the idle speed benefit or what circumstances is it used for?
Gamerkid 2007 Sorry I don't understand?
With Heavier Loads, a higher idle speed helps the truck to pick up speed from a stand still, also keeps it from stalling.
+alphabrogaming OK thank you. 👍
alphabrogaming I like that feature cause my box truck it was cold and I help it at a high idle and it helped the engine get hot so its cool but with the Isuzu but mine is with the gas pedal
I mean Mitsubishi
Does anybody know the dimensions for this type of truck?
theres also an engine brake I BLIEVE. i know hte diesel NPR's have them mounted to the stalk. this one if equipped, not sure why it wouldnt. i believe its on the dash. similar to a jake brake
Oh yeah. Today's my homeland's Independence day.
At 7:08 who sings that song?
Peter Cetera
Cool truck
Daniel28021991 I love you sine
hey kyle , what means in depth tour?
@LordKevin92 true. ill agree there. but ive driven box trucks for many miles. i rarely ever use teh rearview in any of my vehicles. out of habit. only time is if i have to see what is directly behind me. on box trucks its not that hard. may seem like it at first but really, isnt
HOW MANY POUND CAN CARRY THESE TRUK
My truck won't go over 25 mph... Would you know the issue..
As soon as he showed the key i started cracking up lmfaoooooo!1 my house key look better than that lmao
LMAooo... what if someone pulls the thingy up while your at a stop light and the front of the truck goes up.... that would be hilarious!
We have these in my homeland but with yellow paint scheme.
Isn't the passenger compartment heavy to lift?
the 2 things that made me laugh are the horn and the back-up alarm
he klye can you do some more wrok trucks
Can you do a 2010 Chevy Equinox? And didn't you have a birthday not to long ago?
@saabkyle04 hey kyle, you've reveiwed that trailblazer, but not the GMC envoy, can u plaese do so, thanks
Where do you put the gas in?
i wanna drive it soo bad :D
can u review something a big truck something like a scania trucks? plzz reply
lol Mitsubishi Fuso is the brand not Mitsubishi (albeit they have the same owner). The model is the Canter
Here in panama we seem those trucks everywhere
Mitsubishi canter I like
@mvadinan540 he is also a full time student, and working as well
@saabkyle04 some pronounce it Fewso, some as he said fooso. im not sure but i believe hes right iwht teh Fooso pronunciation
❤
Wow, a truck from 2005 with a interior 20 years older!
What part of this vehicle is for fashion
i heard that fuso in italian means broken object
Why the make a button to adjust the idle speed?
For cold weather to heat the motor faster
There are 4 versions of this tuck. There's the Isuzu NPR, Mitsubishi fuso, Chevy, And GMC versions.
try a early 1990s mistubishi fuso and see how they work
@barnie7219 yep. the altenator in my offroad jeep only charges at 2500 rpm
@BackyardFLPB idle adjuster i think
7:29 song what is like by Everlast
That not a DIESEL V8! Its a 4.9 liter , inline 4 cyclinder!
The dashboard looks like a cross between a Honda Civic si hatch ep3 and a volkswagen eurovan
Why this truck has Automatic Transmission? Every trucks uses Manual Transmission
Can you get a 6 cylinder in these trucks?
Black Lake Gaming I don’t like you
Looks safe in head on collisions.
It's a cab over what do you expect
small truck big power
