- Forget spending on wet vacuuming. Just put the seat upholstery in your washing machine.
2002 Mazda protege/323/Familia/Mazdaspeed/Ford Lynx /Laser /Tierra/ Activa seat.
Seat-to-floor mounting bolts: 37-53Nm (27-39 ft-lb)

Thank God for you! All I could find out there is how to take off and put on after market slip covers, which any moron should be able to do. Other videos showed removal as if you plan on throwing them away. How thoughtful of younto post this as presented and ACCURATELY titled.

I took the seat out and removed lower cushion , very easy just like yours showed, only thing is my cover is not attached with Velcro strips,, it has small metal rings to attach to foam piece
I put the whole thing in a hot bath of water and cleaned with a sponge and a gentle bristle brush, it's out in the sunshine should be dry in the morning , thanks for your help

If you wash the foam, be sure to spin it in the washing machine to spin out as much of the water as possible.
Great help, except my version does not have velcro, and it needs noting that the long, plastic clips need to be flipped 3 times, like a hem on pants or a skirt. For me, my base model 2009, I have one flap of fabric with two holes, that I cannot remember where I had it... 'looks like i still need to be video/camera documenting... :/
