Hi, is it possible to save a mission without actually executing it, then put on a new battery and execute the previously saved mission? I see that "composing" a mission requires a lot ot precious battery charge, it is a pity, if one could start the mission with a full charged battery would be great!
Thank you thank you. Searching for this for a while. I can only practise now for construction timelapse. If any can telle me if there is another way, feel free to let me know. FOR now I'm gonna use those method. Thanks
HI, thanks for making such informative tutorials and videos. Is there a way to use the Waypoints feature on the Mini 3 Pro? I know it is designed for video, and it isn't super accurate but I was wondering if you set it up some way to fly a route and to stop, take a photo and then move on to the next point, do the same etc and then return to the set spot? Reason for asking is to be able to run the same route at different times / seasons etc to then overlay images (likely with a bit of work to match them well in PS) and show the same image in different slices e.g. day to night. would appreciate your thoughts.
Confirm please, waypoint programming with the Mini 3 Pro is only available in conjunction with hyperlapse, correct? Other higher-end DJI drones like the Mavic 3 have waypoint functionality in conjunction with any flight characteristics you wish to incorporate, correct?
I created a circular route (using waypoints) around my friend's house that he is building to do "construction progression" - it was made up of 15 waypoints and the height was at 15m. As soon as I saved the route I landed my drone to change the battery, took off immediately and asked it to "play" that I just created. Interestingly/frustratingly it flew the exact route that I defined but at 10 metres instead of 15. This is a show-stopper for me as I cannot do my intended weekly videos of the progression of the build that I was planning to "stitch" together as I cannot be guaranteed that it will always fly at the saved height - have others experienced this and is there an explanation?
Is it possible to get pull single photos from the hyper lapse? I’m documenting a construction job and want to make sure I get the same photos in the exact same position every month. I don’t necessarily need to do a hyper lapse but it seems to be the only way to get the waypoints I need.
That is a great question. I have no idea. I should switch from my RC Controller back to a RC-N1 using my cell-phone and see if the stores waypoints are accessible.
Thank you. Straight to the point
Thank dude. So needed this for projects I'm doing.
Thet is great to hear! Thank you for watching and especially commenting!! 👍
Thank you I'm trying out this feature today for a day and night hyperlaps so this is good info
Glad it was helpful!
Nice one. Thanks for that 👍
Perfect. Thanks man!
Glad it helped!

Good morning brother cool video nice information
Good morning! Thanks for your encouragement, for watching and commenting. 👍
Can this be used for photo? I need to do a before photo session and then an after photo session for a build project.
Enjoy the weekend
Happy Easter brother!
happy Easter brother
This is great! you can do it just hyperlapse? or we can do it video too? i I mean with the way points
Thanks for the video, are you able to rename the flight and how many flights can you save.
Is this available on the DJI Mini 3? (non Pro version). I read that it was available before I purchased it, but I am having trouble with it.

Thanx, man!
Nice vida 🙌
Sucks so much that one cannot pre-created waypoint from home using gps and a better application then go fly 😏
Yes, true. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Has anyone tried Litchi?

In the Mini 3 Pro you can only do photos with Waypoints. It is a bummer as I am a Real Estate photographer and videographer.

Apparently yes this is correct. Which is unfortunate!!!! Could be a great feature to repeat video shots

You must start the saved mission at exact the same home point as the mission is recorded; then it should be OK.

Yes. Your SD card will have a separate file for “Hyperlapse” photo files after you make a hyperlapse video.
Are the Waypoints sequences stored on the Controller miniSD or the Drone one?

@@GeoffBrabecDronesTechwhat did you discover?
the method you showed will it record video?
You say next video is how to save waypoints, you movies are not numbered...the titles don't seem to give a clue. So which one is it?
Can't for next video
yay!!
PS gratz on the 1k!!
Thank you brother, much appreciated!! #1000
Is hyperlapse the only way to use waypoints? Would be nice to just shoot a smooth real-time video.
I know, right! The Mini 3 Pro only allows waypoints with hyperlapse.
The Mavic 3 allows waypoints in real-time. I would have to check my Air 2S to see if it does too.
