Crackdown 3 was exactly what I wanted from a Crackdown game. A fun, mindless, filler game. Reckon the people with the hate for this game never played the originals
It was just that, but they lost so much of the physics model from 1 and 2 it was a huge shame. The explosions, car damage shooting out tyres, the body part targeting and the different reactions to that - you could shoot a leg and they'd limp away vs just dying on the spot. It doesn't sound much, but if you go back to 1 or 2 now it's really obvious and a richer experience.

I've seen a lot of unreasonable complaints, but at the end of the day, the game just wasn't as fun as the first one. I started playing the first one when they made it free in anticipation for the 3rd game and I played Crackdown 3 on release day. I quickly realized that I was having much more fun playing Crackdown 1. The game failed to pry my interest from a ten year old game. Not saying you're wrong to like it, but don't assume things about people who don't like it.

But what I meant was, people that hate Crackdown 3, despite the fact that Crackdown 3 basically follows the exact same gameplay formula as the first two ( minus aiming for body parts etc ). So when people hate this, complain about the gameplay, it would seem they don't know what a Crackdown game is
I love the crackdown series playing it right now on my series s in 2022 and I understood going in to crackdown 3 that it simply a crackdown game either you like or you don’t me personally I love it it’s fun

everyone says this is such a fun and simple game but why do you have to adjust the ''agents skills'' for example ? and i see so many other things in there. for me that makes a game already way too complicated
native 4k i have no idea why console gamers really want that 4k, do they just like to know they're getting all the bells and whistles? 4k 30fps if definitely not next-gen in my opinion, honestly as a pc gamer 1440p vs 4k there really isn't a massive difference, and so rather have 60fps 1440p.
That's the big issue, they made it up to be bigger than it what because the line-up was somewhat scarce. Crackdown was never in the AAA tier, it was always AA, and pushing this one to those expectations was a recipe for disaster unless they seriously overhauled the experience which they didn't. It's still a good game, it's just not what people were being hyped up to believe.

30fps is just unforgivable for a machine this expensive. I hope it gets a 60 fps patch one day

this is exactly the game - fast 3rd person - that needs proper 60 fps X/S version, I played it on PC and it is infinitely better in 60 fps

This games 4k 30 because it's not an optimized for series x game
I like me some native 4k. It's so sharp and the colors are great

BS. What they showed was not what we got. They showed fully destructible environments.
It deserves it. Looks like a ps2 game, runs like garbage, gunplay is garbage. Very subpar

It's not 60? It's very fluid, and everything feels precise. If it's not, it's very negligible that 60 is even advantageous in this title

Idk why but the 30fps in this Game looks absolute Garbage, feels more like 25fps. Ive never had a problem with a 30fps game looking so choppy
