Lot of bait came back on that set. Not an easy life with all the hard work you have put in the boat. Will be interesting to see a comparison of fish v running costs for the two boats. Still there is a lot to be said for comfort and just not getting knocked around as much with the new boat. Great job as always.
these shots show more detail of your catches! NICE! those "Bull Sculpin" are insane compared to what we get! i bet they'd make an awesome fish mount! i have a halibut tail mounted, but that's kinda boring even though it was over 150lbs! >>sigh
Red Irish Lord- a Gurnard. A very flavourable fish- whole, fillet, or double fillet to avoid bones. Picking apart a whole fish is probably best, it'll fall off the bones then.
I miss Kodiak, but to isolated and expensive now that im 62.grew up with floyds, dawsons, pederson and peterson, and king, thats robbie, and so many more.north is my last name lol.
I'm sure you've answered this before. I grew up in Washington state on the coast and we loved the sweet meat of the sculpin. You throw them back. Do you ever keep any?
Yep, actually quite a few comments on the same spot, I could see why it would be a concern. Luckily the line doesn't actually rub the hull much at all.
i wanted to write this every time , but i always focus on the video and i forget it every time . About your bird line . You can use the apparatus you use for rock fishing . and add a barrel so the line wraps around it . That way you use the power of the motor to collect back the line with the buoy and not Matt reeling back with his hand every time . I get tired by watching him do it . let alone him that does the actual work .
Well you got some which is always better than none. Whilst not helpful to you releasing a video like this reflects your honesty which is why I and many like me watch every video. I have noticed this aspect, when your catch is sparse you have a lot of seagulls close to the boat but when a good catch not many seagulls, Guess more tucker dropped in the water for seagulls when fish are sparse.
Haha yep, hovering around waiting for a nibble. They get quite noisy and they’re actually pretty stinky if they get close enough for you to smell them! 😖
Liking how you are putting a caption on some of the fish for those of us that don’t know what you are catching. 😊
Great im glad you mentioned that spot on the haul of the boat
New camera angle is great! I love being able to see the mountains/horizon in the background, it's a treat for me!
Thanks! The mountains are pretty majestic, aren't they? We love the ranges down in that area, they are very rugged.

A comment for the algorithm. Always fun to watch the fish coming in.
Loved the camera angle! Thanks for the video.
Enjoy the ride
Great im glad you mentioned that spot on the haul of the boat nice a little then big
This is fun! 😂thanks you guys for taking us on the trip! We want you safe and sound!
Thanks, Cindy!
Just like this channel. Guys doing stuff that feeds The People.
With great views and good soundtrack
And no drone footage with a limp audio.
A masthead 360o would give some good images. Not that everything isn’t excellent.
Thanks for watching!
It was better than getting hit with a stick. Better luck with the next set. Greetings from Misery Bay Northern Denmark
Got a few ... That's fishing Thanks for bringing us along . ..
Great stuff! Thanks guys!!
And that's why they call it fishing.
❤❤❤ Thanks for another fun trip guys.
Appreciate you tuning in, Debbie!
Tap dance on the dance floor caused a bit of a racket!!😅

It was a pleasure.

Starfish +40. I'll take the points. 😉
So Matt nice hat, but where's the gold braid and captain embroidery?
More more videos please I love ❤️ them
Great you have made my day ive been ill
Good bro❤❤
we need a before and after picture of the Emerald Isle
Guessing not gonna set there again or gonna try a longer soak?
Nope, didn't set back in the shallows that trip. Good fishing there same time last year, but it seemed the fish were deeper this time around.
Love the channel, but if you're going to fly the drone over much, take a Saturday morning and paint the roof of the " Isle ".
I'm sure you've answered this before. I grew up in Washington state on the coast and we loved the sweet meat of the sculpin. You throw them back. Do you ever keep any?
We haven't tried them, but have heard they are quite tasty. Did you keep the small ones or larger giant sculpin? Might have to give them a try!
Ty I know you added that on screen because I was concerned about the spot
Yep, actually quite a few comments on the same spot, I could see why it would be a concern. Luckily the line doesn't actually rub the hull much at all.
Greetings from Vancouver, Washington. I don’t remember if it had ever been mentioned, but do you guys have AIS?

Im assuming that one called the great sculpin isn’t edible ? 🇬🇧🇬🇧
What's happened to the rockfish jigging?
We will get back to jigging rockfish and cod next year. Probably start sometime on February.

Good observation, that could be true. This time of year they seem to come around more often too, when things slow down in the winter.
Can you guys retain Sculpins legally?
There’s no market for them.
@@EISAlaska I'd like a couple. The big ones do cook up pretty well. Very cod-like.
Et les sous-titres ?
Lazy seagulls waiting for food to drop. They're like Is cockroaches of the ocean
Haha yep, hovering around waiting for a nibble. They get quite noisy and they’re actually pretty stinky if they get close enough for you to smell them! 😖
............ITS CALLED FISHING NOT CATCHING..............lol............
That set was a bit scratchy. Better than nothing but a way off making money.
