Ah dude sorry about this, I was on the road for so long I just had a chance to post it😅 You know what I think you're right. If I don't think about it and just drink it, it's quite nice. Sometimes we get into the situation too much and take it a bit too seriously. I'll drink it with this in mind next time, cheers!
Yeah, got real sick of the Ardbeg gimmick releases real quick. We have an expression in Australia called "taking the piss" which means when someone is making a fool of you and that is definitely the feeling I get from Ardbeg how they treat their customer base...
Yeah I know the expression but they produce because they know they can sell. We're all guilty of it but thankfully their core range is decent with good flavours and honest specs. They're not at Macallan levels of obnoxiousness just yet
I just got this whisky last month. It's just ok to me but I'm giving it time to open up. There is a funky almond note in it. Not bad but not great either.
