Test Flying the Concorde Simulator at Brooklands Museum

- Earlier today I was at Brooklands Museum carrying out a preservation and conservation power up of the Concorde Simulator to ensure we kept it running for after lock down. A lot of electrical mechanical components are over 40 years old, so not ideal not being used.
Once it was all running, I took the time to live stream a simulated flight around London for the members of the Heritage Concorde group.
This is this event re-shared for everyone.
Once the museum re-opens, we will once again welcome visitors to come and fly the currently only operational Concorde simulator. - Наука та технологія
I have flown in that simulator a few years ago, and I am happy to see that it is coming back to service. I am wondering: Are there plans to update the simulator platform in the future? The sim still uses FS2004, which is a bit outdated these days, though it is very reliable. All Concorde fans are waiting for a 64-bit Concorde for P3Dv4 and v5 to come out, but there hasn't been any official announcement yet. Once a new version comes out, it would be great to see the Brooklands simulator being updated to the newest platorm to enhance the visuals. Now it's P3Dv3 that provides the best visual experience, so even updating to that platform would make a difference.
DC design Concorde is out for P3Dv4,V5 and mfs
@@NullRFFR FS-Labs have announced that a 64-bit Concorde will be coming for P3Dv4 and P3Dv5. I can't wait to fly it!
@@afterburnersfschannel2210 but they still dont have Really 3D cockpit right now
Gordon-is that Lockheed Martin P3D???
Is it a motion simulator or static?
Wonder why they distort it to show curvature when on real Concorde footage there is no curvature
I used to be a simulator myself and had to sign an NDA with Air France so cannot comment further due to contractual obligations.
I’m a 747 now.
should of showed what the outside of the simulator looked like before flying.
Will they update to Microsoft flight simulator 2020 anytime soon
They definitely should!
