Hi in stand of adding shims on the knob shafts. I just filed the end of the shaft. This was easily done and you could use a nail file if you don't have any small files.
@@bagashite9223 hey bag! Right on! Great idea and very creative! Personally, I would prefer to use shims as I am not removing any material and the increments I can use are more precise than me removing material. However, if you don’t have access to shims then filing your handle shafts is definitely an option! Appreciate the suggestion! Cheers my friend!
Hey uncle! Yes that is exactly what I’m hoping this video will do for people. I hope you don’t have to use it but it is here in case you do. Cheers my friend!
In my initial testing of the reel I say if definitely casts as far the silver feather with the lightest lures I personally use, might even be a bit farther tbh. But the SF is more beginner friendly and forgiving. Then again it's triple the price too...
Hey Jacob! Try cranking your brakes on the SF to maybe 2.5 and then cast super hard. You’ll get those light lures to go even farther than the AA. I’m actually kind of hoping that this new ve2 pro will be cheaper and cast the same as the SF but only time will tell. I honestly have a bit of a hard time recommending the AA if people have to potentially dig into it so far but it does cast quite well even with line lay issues. It’s a bit of a cautious recommendation with a caveat and disclaimer lol. Cheers my friend!
