Dont know how you haven’t got more subscribers becaus your videos are excellent. Nice looking Mountfield and I hope that it holds up for you because the day of the cordless mower is going to be upon us sooner than we think as they progress into longer run times and more power. I personally have an Sp 555RV petrol rear roller Mountfield my back garden is large and to put it mildly it must have every type of grass known to man in it. But with all the use the lawn gets the Mountfield makes it a breeze for an older guy like me. Keep up the good work my friend 👍 Tam.

Hi tam, thanks for the comment I guess my videos are not everyone’s cup of tea. My back lawn is full of thick weed grasses and it’s in dire need of killing off and starting again, I might get round to doing it at the back end of summer. Only used my mountfield a couple of times and I’m really impressed so far, I plan to use this most of the year although the cylinder mower will be out while the weathers nice.😃. Dave

Hi Martin, thank you for the comment, my lawn is not that big so the mower does it with ease and the battery didn’t get hot. I’ve used it on larger lawns with taller grass without any problems 👍

I think it's fair to say that you are going over the same parts of the lawn 3 or 4 times which equates to mowing a lawn at least 3 times the size of your own. You might be better off mowing over the lawn once then turning the mower off and pushing it over what you've mowed to get darker stripes if of course the mower allows that whilst turned off.

It needs to be powered up for the self propulsion to work which I don’t mind, the battery is a massive 80v so it gives me plenty of time to get those stripes burnt in. Thanks for the comment.

@@unionjack100980 I see. I suspected that might be the case. Why did you swap to a rotary mower when you've got that wonderful cylinder mower with the heavy roller. A cylinder mower is a healthier cut for the grass as a rotary is more a rip in comparison.

@@a.c.1474 still got it, in fact I’ve been using it tonight for my next video. I will use the cylinder mower while the weather is good and the rotary for the rest of the year. It’s the rear roller on the cylinder mower it’s no good on damp or wet grass it scuffs the lawn when turning, the rotary mower has a split roller so that is better.

@@unionjack100980 I do in fact have a rotary & cylinder myself. I use the rotary at the beginning of the season to gradually work the height down to use the cylinder on it. Your rotary is a quality one and doesn't leave the swirling pattern that the cheaper ones do. Probably due to a higher RPM. By the way, your lawn looks terrific

@@a.c.1474 I don’t think you beat having a cylinder and a rotary, keep your options open, if you have a week of bad weather your grass might be to long for the cylinder. Thank you for the comment on my lawn I really appreciate it. I’ve just done a hack job on the back lawn trying to give the weed grasses a hard time.see how it turns out in a couple of days. It’s going to be a follow up to my weed grass video I did last week.👍

Looking good, how happy are you with the new mower ?

I’m really happy with it, I can mow both my lawns on a single charge now lol. It’s a fair bit heavier and it doesn’t fold up like the last one so it’s a bit of a squeeze to store it. I’m planning on using it all year round so it will be well used although I’m still going to be using the reel mower from time to time. Thanks for watching and commenting 😃
