I live in west Alabama. Tornado alley..we have tornados all the time. We've had so many this past month. I think they said 7 in one day. Alot of damage. My city had an F5 come through I think it was 2013. Totally destroyed so many homes and businesses. Many Lives lost. This morning there were pictures of cars that had been hit by baseball size hail in Orange Beach Al.. Windows had holes in them.

Replay: I love seeing you paint ALL of the chair. One of my pet peeves is seeing the underside of a piece with old paint colors or overspray.
I'm sobhappy you are doing this chair! I have one like it that I need to redo. The big difference is mine has roses carved on the top. I have never painted like you do, but I am going to do this chair. I can paint the broadside of a barn any color with great success. I love your vlogs and the way you teach.

I can't wait to try blending techniques. I'm just starting my first dixie belle project. I have a simple headboard and footboard I'll paint solid mustard, and little bench with upholstery top. Thank you for so many inspirational videos.

First off, I'm a messy painter. I currently have it all over my hands. I just tried to wipe it off of my phone. When it wouldn't come off, i realized that the paint wasn't on my phone. It was ON your pants. 😆

I live in OKLAHOMA. We are a tornado State. We are in what is called Tornado Alley... but yes, Alabama does get them, and it’s seems they are getting more and more.🌪🌪🌪🌪

Om! This video is helping me a lot. I have almost the same chairs. And I want to blend 3 colors. Tying my best to follow your instructions but for some reason is not working. It seems to be I am pulling the paint instead of blending it 🤪. Help !
Could be the type of paint you are using or the prep of the piece. Paints that have more clay in them tend to reactivate faster. Having a primer on helps the paint adhere. Also make sure your base coat is completely dry
@@BrushedbyBrandy thank you so much. I used a primer and let it dry for 24 hours. I am using a water base chalk paint and water based primer (boss). The same brand you used in this video. I think I was overworking it too much. I am going to try again today to blend. Lol I keep watching your video. Wish me luck. Thank you again for replying. 5-22-23 A happy update! Thanks you you, I was able to apply the blending technique to 6 of my chairs. I know I still need more practice but I was at least able to transformed my chairs. Thank you!!!
I live in Louisiana and there are none of the fabric stores like there used to be. I also want to see and feel the fabric, so online is a gamble!
