to be completely clear I'm dogshit at buildcrafting and I don't do endurance runs, but I swapped equilibrium out for boreal's hatred to completely max the efficiency while increasing the shield gate duration at the same time in order to make it more forgiving for myself to react with condemn, same reason why I also added an extra tau shield shard as well. this set up was way more comfortable for me if anyone else is also having a major skill issue. I personally didn't need molt efficiency's extra duration either so I tried energize to make up for the loss of equilibrium but that seemed overkill, no clue what else to put there tho, power ramp seemed like the only other option because you're constantly spamming 3 2 and 1 usually in that order but I don't know if extra strength is even worth it at this point lol
Hm. Boreals over equilibrium does not seem bad. I haven’t tried it but maybe run it with a death cube as well ? I usually hate taking off equilibrium because running over red orbs when I could use energy irks me 😂. However with 175% efficiency I would probably never need it. And if I’m ever really getting low I can just abuse the infinity energy of my shadow to drop some orbs somewhere. Personally when I get home I’ll try it out. But at the same time there is no real need to swap except for the shield gate duration (which can be nice) like you said as it seems you’ll just be trading energy economy for economy.

@@jpmorgan6146 they do, elemental damage mods scales multiplicatively with base damage mods meaning having just one is missing out on alot of potential damage !!

Yo kepchup, fellow lvl cap here, wanna make a simple question, how are you dealing with tharx units at lvl 9999 getting overguard from ancient protectors? From 10 runs they kill at least 3 runs, not even full optmize amp, arcanes and madurai and doing HS seems to kill them, does your just quit or you guys have strat dealing with them. Good video?
@@brunoseyzo2110 because I prioritize so much into good survivability it lets me focus on dealing damage to thraxes. However if you're speaking about the spectral form, madurai with proper operator Crit arcanes will kill them, but doing body shots will always take forever. Your amp matters alot, right now cantic prism, phahd scaffold, and certus brace is the best in the game Another thing that helps is just always holding the invisibility key on operator and shooting to come out briefly At the end of the day it's not that hard, you just really need to focus headshots with the right setup
Im doing hs (headshots) always using a 547, sometimes 147. Using eradicate + onslauth, madurai void strike, operator magus melt. Still they survive, sorry english inst my 1st language. But this happens when ancient protector overguard buff on tharx (normal form) then when it goes specter form it keeps the overguard. Dont know this ever happen to you. Ty
Really interesting, wasn't expecting to see so much efficiency. Not much of a sevagoth player, all the builds I've tried were super failures because of awful energy economy
Just found your tier list then this. I have came back to the game after a multiple years away and have fallen in love with sevagoth. I also didn't wanna subsume off shadow since it seemed strong. But I wanted to run something by you I had been toying with. I could be misunderstanding the breakpoints a bit, but IIRC you need 255% power to one shot with the Reap/Sow combo with roar(in place of condemn since I agree Gloom is great but not for Sev). What if you took off equilibrium, slotted blind rage, then you'd easily clear that breakpoint with Molt Augmented stacked and gives arcane Steadfast more value. You utilize Brief Respite and a stealth companion so you're barely ever leaving invis with sevagoth himself since you won't need viral to prime targets. Then you use your shadow build basically as is. So when dealing with adds you can play mostly untargetable invisible sev, and when you have a single large target you need to pump damage into or end up in a bit of a hairier spot you can swap out to Shadow with zero worries. Plus you can actually forgot steadfast OR molt efficiency and use the new "ability strength while invis" arcane. Basically blending the "meta" nuke sev build with yours. I can't really test it myself because I don't have most of the mods that have came out during my hiatus.
@@Chim3rà12I had this same question. And it’s another layer to his kit entirely. It adds so much survivability to sev if you need it in cascade but you must have preparation on the shadow. I read somewhere that someone explained people suck at surviving with sev because the shadow is not a skill it’s literally half of his warframe. Which makes sense seeing as it can’t be nullified because it actually counts as a warframe
hey kep, i thought true damage was effected by damage reduction, is it not? thats why trinity cant straight up oneshot disruption targets, or trinity true damage and sevagoth true damage works differently?
I do know that true damage doesnt care about enemy DR but i dont know enough about trin's kill setup to talk about how her true damage compares to sevagoth... maybe trin's is a flat damage amount and sev's is percentage based? im not super sure- ill need to look into it
The shadow is underrated but if you happen to die with sevagoth, having to revive with the shadow in high levels is almost impossible, mostly due to the clunky movement. Thats the only downside of sevagoth.
yeee the parkour shards help alot- with rolling guard it buys you alot more time but ive had some parts where i just get cooked xD it gets better with time, alot of people normally dont play his shadow so the weird gummy movement is always gonna be wacko
wouldnt it make more sense to replace molt efficiency with steadfast and change fleeting expertise to streamline so you get more duration since you said fleeting + steadfast is overkill
@@pepeold1074whew yea it sucked having to forma so much but, On the bright side sevagoth absolutely tears through leveling ESO. Don’t even need an affinity booster. I love this build. It’s so fun, strong and surviving is very doable if you play it right

Since sev does true damage with reap and sow what is the purpose of using his shadow to do all the status damage to bypass armor as well ? And how do you keep the shadow alive in high level cascade runs 😂
@@jpmorgan6146 the shadow is there as another layer of defense- and it kills acolytes REALLY good As for surviving as the shadow you just need to pop in and out of it occasionally to refresh your invulnerability and rolling guard

@@xpitohui Indeed. I read online that Sevagoth can simply 1 shot with Reap and Sow with enough power strength + Roar. But none of the videos I looked at actually utilizes this, if possible. i said in the video its because at the first couple mins of a mission eximus units dont spawn, thats why its brutal at the start of the mission but after 5 mins youll get enough eximus spawns to kill just fine its also an active playstyle, and realistically if this was a roar or nourish build, would that have had any more survivability? I see what you mean, though after watching this video I think I'm more willing to give the Shadow a try. Plus I rarely use Gloom due to the mentioned energy issues. I suspect Roar over #3 with a brief respite+catalyzing shields, 100% efficiency, and a Huras Kubrow for perma invis (while not using weapons) setup would give me just about everything I want with Sevagoth. With the Shadow as a backup for acolytes, quick i-frames, or when I'm low on energy. It's something I'm going to try this weekend anyway!

to be completely clear I'm dogshit at buildcrafting and I don't do endurance runs, but I swapped equilibrium out for boreal's hatred to completely max the efficiency while increasing the shield gate duration at the same time in order to make it more forgiving for myself to react with condemn, same reason why I also added an extra tau shield shard as well. this set up was way more comfortable for me if anyone else is also having a major skill issue.

@@jpmorgan6146 ah yeah, this is 100% done for the extra shield gate duration as I don't wanna be "on" all the time while playing this game. but at the same time I found that you don't want too much shield capacity as condemn would require more and more enemies to bring them back to max, and boreal's hatred seems to be a nice sweet spot, the efficiency is just a bonus. but yeah equilibrium feels very very overkill when you have energize, I recognize that for some people that extra arcane slot is important though, it's all personal preference at the end of the day imo
@@appleonshoe845 tried the boreal swap and to be honest I don’t even need energize. However I plan on building a dethcube for if I ever need some kind of energy orbs to drop somewhere even a little bit. And in practicality unless it’s duviri where there’s no companion and I needed to switch to shadow sometimes because of energy I had 0 energy issues. Took the boreals to level 1k in cascade before one of my teammates had to go and it worked perfectly as smooth as when I had equilibrium (with the benefit of the little extra gate)
Have absolutely no idea how to play sevagoth and he seemed pretty confusing. But this vid was so good so far I’m building him and leveling him as I watch because I feel like I’ll have a much better understanding after I’m done watching

Hey im trying to learn void cascade rn. This vid just came out right on time Ty
Damn this was an informative vid, just got him so I was looking for builds. Just wondering how you'd go about building him as a weapons platform over more or less a pure caster?
@@LongDaysPleasantNights I'd say just more strength and duration them- keep his augments and everythin
His shadows claws are already modded for the best damage
@keppochuppu Thanks for the help and thanks again for the video!
With Fortifier on your secondary Arcane Truculence seems cool to extend the Viral priming to 30 meters. Also probably works wonders in groups with Dante to basically never have to prime
Truculence is a little weird- I tried it out with rhino and it doesnt seem to give you the viral stacks when iron skin converts to overguard, but it DOES give you the viral when you replenish the overguard with rhino stomp
super weird on some frames, I havent tested how it works on dante yet
The world would be a better place if more people *didn't* treat Sevagoth like a gloom bot or removed his shadow.
Make the Yaoi hands man shine!
Also Sporothrix and Syam are my favorite weapons to use with his Reap augment it's 🤌
edit: I'd also like to add that you can cast reap while adssing then transfer to the Shadow and the shadow from reap will keep orbiting around the area you initially aimed at, just something neat you can do.
How are you doing that wide, clapping motion of a heavy melee in shadow form? My heavy does a spin/overhanded-coming-down swing thing without the width of range you mention in the video several times. Can't change the stance, so I'm not sure why my heavy melee attack is an entirely different looking move.
Can you give me a timestamp in the video- maybe its the blocking attack or neutral attack

Hey Kepchup, would you mind doing a video on operator stuff(going over amp setups, arcanes, focus schools, etc.) I'd really appreciate it. I'm new to running void cascades and feel like I'm not doing enough damage with my operator.
If not no worries! I love your videos.
Thank you for the video. Your Sevagoth is awesome, but i don't gonna do it for myself bcs a lot of forma XD
I have a question. How much damage does primed toxin mods add to melee ? I’m not entirely sure how that interaction works but I hear they add a shit ton of damage
@@jpmorgan6146 they do, elemental damage mods scales multiplicatively with base damage mods meaning having just one is missing out on alot of potential damage !!
@@keppochuppu oh thank you ! My primed toxin is only 60% leveled I should fix that when I get home 😂 because my heavy does decent damage but sometimes my regular melee takes a while. I assumed that maybe I needed to make sure my combo was up a little before it did big damage
ive recently got back and the new galv mods are exactly what made me stop subsuming everything on his 4, also dump all that str gloom needs
is there a specific reason for running ceramic dagger on sevagoth? or do you just run it for fun? If the second, I never see people use it even though it is one of the coolest looking melees in my opinion so you win brownie points. Out of curiosity what do you run on it?
hey do you recc any specific build for epitaph?
Your amp matters alot, right now cantic prism, phahd scaffold, and certus brace is the best in the game
Another thing that helps is just always holding the invisibility key on operator and shooting to come out briefly
At the end of the day it's not that hard, you just really need to focus headshots with the right setup
E X A C T L Y theyre an energy sink and it friggin sucks- this makes him super comfortable and super usable!!!
What companion constantly stealths in a way that doesn't break when attacking
@avalokiteshvara113 either shade or huras. Both don't break on ability cast. Only on shooting or melee.
I still don't understand the point of switching into the shadow like what does it do that sevagoth cant, i feel like i missed something.
@@Chim3rà12 it's another layer of defense on-top of the fact it's stupid good at killing acolytes and grouping enemies
It does fat damage
Ahhhh i see now that does makes sense i think you did mention that, keep up the good videos, really like you builds
Awesome! So much juicy info
Can i use roar or nourish instead on the 3rd ability?
@@nirav4556 sure but your survivability will probably be really bad
hey kep, i thought true damage was effected by damage reduction, is it not? thats why trinity cant straight up oneshot disruption targets, or trinity true damage and sevagoth true damage works differently?
I do know that true damage doesnt care about enemy DR but i dont know enough about trin's kill setup to talk about how her true damage compares to sevagoth... maybe trin's is a flat damage amount and sev's is percentage based? im not super sure- ill need to look into it
@keppochuppu i will hope for a short trin video then :)
What are ur damage number settings?
Bold numbers off, 90% opacity, slightly smaller scale, and cloud damage numbers
Pls, Tell me the build of Epitaph
how does the shadow handle at level cap? is the damage still ok? does it die immediately?
its dmg is fine- millions in bleed and toxin will chip away at them, as for its survivability the invincibility will be the only way to live
Do the weapons matter? Because i have no clue what Vorunas talon is
@@EWarr-ko3nf XD I renamed my ceramic dagger to vorunas talon the weapons don't matter
@keppochuppu got it. That scourge prime with Sevagoth looks incredibly cool, so that's why u was wondering
The shadow is underrated but if you happen to die with sevagoth, having to revive with the shadow in high levels is almost impossible, mostly due to the clunky movement. Thats the only downside of sevagoth.
yeee the parkour shards help alot- with rolling guard it buys you alot more time but ive had some parts where i just get cooked xD
it gets better with time, alot of people normally dont play his shadow so the weird gummy movement is always gonna be wacko
when i first got sevagoth, i spent 2 nightwaves farming umbral forma just for shadow. ive deletd him 3 times before prime came into existance.
Rip 😭
wouldnt it make more sense to replace molt efficiency with steadfast and change fleeting expertise to streamline so you get more duration since you said fleeting + steadfast is overkill
also running seismic bond on companion would allow you to completely free up the slot, maybe allowing for natural talent or something similar

Hi you have been the first video that convinced me to try sev. I just built him and I’m finally learning how to use him. I do have some questions though. Since sev does true damage with reap and sow what is the purpose of using his shadow to do all the status damage to bypass armor as well ? And how do you keep the shadow alive in high level cascade runs 😂
@@jpmorgan6146 the shadow is there as another layer of defense- and it kills acolytes REALLY good

I do not think he looks good. :/
Yeah I got really hyped and followed this guide exactly. No where near as survivable and good at dmg as say voruna which I think he ranked lower. Overall a little disappointed with the performance of this in an actual game.
@@xpitohui Indeed. I read online that Sevagoth can simply 1 shot with Reap and Sow with enough power strength + Roar. But none of the videos I looked at actually utilizes this, if possible. Why would you prioritize anything else if you could just 1 combo everything? Why waste time priming and dancing around the topic?
i said in the video its because at the first couple mins of a mission eximus units dont spawn, thats why its brutal at the start of the mission but after 5 mins youll get enough eximus spawns to kill just fine
its also an active playstyle, and realistically if this was a roar or nourish build, would that have had any more survivability? Absolutely not
sorry it was my first game of the day I always record my videos in the morning :/
Can you link where I said if it was level cap id die?? Because you can take a look at this stream here where I level capped with nev and nova umbral as sevagoth, and I dont actually think i died during that run xD The banshee run was brutal because we had no hud and toxin weapons were harsh, but the sevagoth run in void cascade afterwards was a breeze
