Just wanted to say that I totally forgot about Wrathful Advance, but it's also a very good Helminth option on Valkyr. Considering that it was in the Excalibur video you'd think I'd have included it in this one, but my own stupidity continues to surprise me.
shpeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen valkyr is one of the easiest lvlcap cascade builds ive used, permanently staying invulnerable excluding briefly using a primer on thrax before CTRL+E deleting them (no corrosive shards, too busy used 5 tau purple for le funny numbers). don't think I ever got downed or ran out of energy. which makes me happy since I am a spin2win adict from the telos boltace days
I was just about to comment that Wrathful Advance is probably the best on Valkyr, given it makes use of her heavy attack and massively boosts her crit chance. Mine has 4 reds for power and duration plus a purple for energy and she clears almost any content and I've seen her tennokai heavies hit for upwards of 25m.
I was going to suggest that one, because with even 22 seconds of duration on it and +150% crit% on my Gauss it slaps in Redline, so that was my first bet for Valkyr.
If you have any source of overguard, it's actually invincible during Hysteria, so any amount of overguard will cause you to fully gate the Hysteria backlash if it falls off for any reason.
@@griffordthedipshit4268 Dante specter is probably more reliable, but I keep forgetting to equip mine. Can also call down your archgun at the start of the mission then drop into Hysteria before any enemies shoot the overguard off.
Valkyr conceptually is one of my favorite frames, and I've always loved the fact that she's basically the only frame with a "voice". It's pretty cool. I really hope she gets a rework some day, but damn that list is getting looong.
The lich thing, its not a knock down, its closer too a lift youd get from spellbind then just flings you, if it is somehow stopped then you remain airborne temporarily, the teleport CC also isnt much as its not only rare but also can just be overpowered by valkyrs jank, so she really is knockdown immune, its just anything thats not a knockdown is still effective.
Here is a tip about Tennokai that totally made me throw away slide attacks (unless i need a slight gap closer): Tennokai mods stacks + Tennokai mods on the statstick work on the Talons. Yep! You can double stack Dreamer's Wrath for very frequent tennokai windows, or double stack Opportunity's Reach for a wopping 8 seconds tennokai window (sadly, the range buff don't work and stay at 7m). Personally, i have Dreamer's Wrath/Opportunity's Reach/Master's Edge on my Praedos statstick and Dreamer's Wrath on the Talons itself. It allows me to spam Tennokai like no tomorrow (however, Discipline's Merit make the whole thing stop working completely, so don't use it). And since Talons heavy attack have a slam component, you can use Seismic Wave. With so much damages, i can slot both Prime Reach and Spring-Loaded Blade on the Talons and still slap like a truck :D
I've never been a fan of tennokai, but I'm going to copy this down and look at it sometime and see if that can refresh my valkyr gameplay. I've been spinning to win in Netracells for a while now and it gets boring.
15:40: fun fact: if you have ability name banners enabled, activating teshin's grapple in the New War displays "Ripline" as the ability name. Or at least it did when i played it a month or so after launch. God knows i haven't gone back and played it again
A mod I include on my Talons build is, believe it or not, Proton Snap. The status chance you get from Snap is flat, which means you can bring that measly 10% status up to a workable if not scaleable 60%. Needing to wall-latch to activate it is clunky, don’t get me wrong, but if clunk scares you, you’re probably not interested in Valkyr in the first place. Besides, it’s a good excuse to run Arcane Arachne.
Thanks for reminding me this mod even exists It's kinda funny that there are some mods that most people overlook, that are actually viable in some cases
I literally just finished testing this out with archon vitality. Definitely a noticeable damage boost, but you have to make sure your melee is equipped or else you'll get immediately slapped off the wall when you pull out your Tigris lol.
I mean Valkyr's about as simple as it gets functionally, as far as usage goes. Press 2, press 4, press whatever you subsumed on, slide attack til you don't wanna be in the mission anymore. Wall latching will be nice if i remember it i guess though.
And while wall latching you can use a primer. I also recommend using Voruna's subsume to stay in hysteria indefinitely. All of this actually makes a very interesting playstyle where you activate hysteria go to wall latch, buff descend apon your chosen group of victims, rip and tear, go back to wall, rebuff, repeat. By the way use the arcane that makes you scale energy with armor so your running around with 1000 energy at full buffs.
1:03 avenger procs on getting hit, despite the description saying "on damaged", it also happens with harrow, nyx, loki, Excalibur, qorvex, wisp, and any other frame with invinsibility when they get damaged
I have heard about the damage that gets stored so many times but in all the times I’ve played Valkyr I have never once actually noticed it, So actually seeing it in action here is mind blowing
pretty much only matters in insanely hight level content, if you didnt invest in Valkyr's durability, if you keep Hysteria up for ages in a single cast, or a combination of the above. The number of times it killed me in my years long valkyr main carreer can probably be counted on a single hand
All they really have to do to make her talons updated to the current meta without using weird tactics to buff them is give all her attacks except heavy attacks 100% slash chance. They have low range and they are supposed to be sharp energy claws yet have pitifully low status chance. If they still intend on keeping the low status for balance fine, but make the attacks always proc slash to make her feel more impactful. Also, i remember DE in the past said they would not give valkyr's hysteria combos and ruin her unique moveset when DE were announcing they would add stance mods to the game. They uh, they did give her a stance, and people disliked it. Shocker. 14:34 you also sadly didn't mention that casting prolonged paralysis again on enemies already effected REMOVES the effect from enemies, making using it like a cheap built in pull more annoying.
The main issue I see with that is she’d become even more similar to Garuda, and would still be worse in comparison. Valkyr needs to stand on her own, with her own identity and niche. Otherwise she’ll always be in the shadow of other, better frames.
@@SmoothTurtle840 I don't think that is fair at all, garuda procs slash from using her 4 which also works on guns. With valkyr it would only be her short ranged claws. Plus, valkyr was first anyway
Why does she need slash status? What are you building on the talons so that you don't instantly kill every enemy you touch? And no I really don't think we need more frames that are dumbed down to "applies slash and slash is good"
@@Darthmufin I meant that seriously: What enemy are you hitting with talons that aren't dying immediately? Other than the ones that physically can't die fast (Necramechs, Dedicant, Babou etc). Slash is only good for that purpose

fun ripline fact: triggers a full 3 stacks of odomedic so. aerial jupiter mods with valkyr are crazy viable, I got some build somewhere for it it's really fun
Ok but why do you need all that health regen if you’re constantly invincible from using Hysteria? Honestly I feel like Valkyr would be better off without the invincibility, and was simply a health tank like her base stats clearly want her to be. Then all those caveats for Hysteria would be removed. You could still weave in some shieldgating if you want to use her in level cap anyway.
@@SmoothTurtle840 consider: it's more engaging and fun to try and make a weird build that doesn't rely on the easy option, such as a parkour shotgun build that has a back pocket Hysteria, rather than just outright playing Valkyr the way she's supposed to. If i wanted to be bored out of my mind then absolutely your idea tracks, but my build works for me because it keeps me on my toes
@Movel0 Motus, Aero, Proton. all obtained from kinda any farm from Jupiter Some of the Archon mods from Boreal and I think Nira's Sets?, Aerial Ace which gives extra jumps on headshot, and Odomedic and Anti-Grav Array. basically you can slap them on to any frame that has a decent built in air ability and things that would synergize with height; Zephyr is the Queen and then Valkyr, Wisp, and Nezha are all phenomenal with it. There's also arcanes like Arachne and Double back as well as general parkour speed boosts from Archon Shards and other Arcanes. Verticality isn't always the play, but it's a good set of tools to help you master almost any gameplay, and maneuver through levels faster than a Titania, Gauss or Volt might be able to for it.
I miss playing Oberon. It’s nice to have the full strip and status immunity but there are so many ways to do that now that are much easier or more efficient. Not to mention that energy drain on Renewal…
I just had a hunch that from the inception of Oberon here, everytime he got a touch up was somehow getting done wrong or missing something big, for some reason
13:27 proton snap's status chance buff is actually flat like avenger so you can use it to get a good status chance on claws and you won't have to worry about dying while wall latching

It never did. The only actual mechanical changes beyond the stance it got was going from pure duration to channeled ability, and the damage dealt range slowly growing instead of being static.
Exalted Blade should be the one that have lifesteal instead. Hysteria granting damage immunity make no sense to have that life steal. It also make no sense of why she have life steal before stored damage hurt her, should have been after.
1:40 acteally, Prisma skana incarnon had the highest crit chance of any melee, the wiki doesn't count incarnons in the comparison list though so it's easy to miss
@BT_7274 yes, but it's because it gives 200% modded crit chance, but you can't use bloodrush, which can give 480% modded crit chance with full 12x combo count, so Prisma skana incarnon still wins in that scenario
@GunterBunterWarframe gladiator mod set works by using the crit chance after mods. Meaning her tallons can gain minimum 10% crit chance every multiplier on effectively base 250 meaning in get base 500% or more on crit chance

Prisma skana can also use the gladiator set, it still has higher crit than Valkyr's talons It can get 53% crit chance with no mods on it, while the talons have 50% crit chance, so it will always have a slightly higher crit chance, at least until DE makes bloodrush usable on exalted melees

Valkyr is definitely in need of the next Pablo Refresh. Her abilities don't really need full reworks (although rip line would benefit from new physics), she really just needs ancient number mechanics adjusted/removed.
If she does receive a refresh, I hope it’s more like Nova’s and less like Frost’s. I’m still confused and annoyed that he didn’t receive the changes he’s needed for so long. His 1 and 2 are still effectively the same ability (and can be entirely replaced by any other method of cold priming), his 3 is still only useful in non-operative Defense, Excavation, Mobile Defense, and Void Armageddon, leaving Avalanche as his only ability you’ll end up using. He has poor innate survivability despite his design leaning towards being a tank, with high base shields, above average base armor (+ the considerable amount from his passive), but a small amount of base health for that armor to be applied onto. You’re expected to use at least 2 different augments to make him useful for anything beyond soft crowd control and full stripping in Steel Path content, with one of them being pretty antithetical to his high armor, Icy Avalanche. What is the point of armor when you have high shields and are spamming an ability that gives you overguard? I really don’t know why they didn’t just make Biting Frost his new passive and turn the augment into something else altogether. And since you need to spam his 4 to stay alive in any capacity, you’d need a lot of energy to deal with its base 100 energy cost. Unfortunately, both regular and prime versions of Frost have a measly 100 base energy, which even Primed Flow can’t do much to help with. The clear intent was to have players use Arcane Battery, but that arcane becomes very awkward to use with fluctuating armor values, which his new passive causes. Every other frame who has access to overguard has a better way to manage their energy economy. Styanax’s source of overguard is rather expensive, but Rally Point + Nourish provide way more than enough to sustain it. The base amount provided by Dante’s Triumph is so high that-in tandem with its manageable 50 energy cost-energy isn’t too much of an issue. Kullervo has a relatively cheap casting cost, and also immediately deletes any enemy that is in front of him, making him not take much damage to begin with. Rhino’s overguard values actually scale with enemy level via their damage, making it easier to sustain. Lastly, Ember has a bit of difficulty maintaining overguard, but she also creates loads of energy orbs via Exothermic and has some DR to bolster her shields and health when the overguard runs out. I just really wish Frost would get a proper rework, but that’s likely never going to happen. It’s sad to see the first frame I ever built be left in such an incomplete state.
@@SmoothTurtle840 Maybe if his 2 was a movement ability with an I-frame, and using his 1 to collapse his bubble around you gave you an 'ice shield' that provided some % chance for damage reflection that worked with overguard (and shields/hp), that would be nice. Basically giving him extra layers of survivability on the move so you cast avalanche less often. Tho idk if they'll ever rework him like that since they already indirectly buffed him a bunch, even if his abilities are a bit inflexible and survivability is expensive. (eg: Shivering contagion procing on primaries while on sentinels, cold status changes, and the 1st augment buff are large buffs to biting frost. A magnetic the tenet galaxion absolutely slaps with him.)
She needs both a rework and a general pass for exalted weapons in general. It's stupid that exalted weapons still have modding restrictions, especially for melees getting hit the hardest

Razorwing is probably going to be the longest episode in the entire series because it's so complex, but I am excited to do it. Current plan is to knock out Iron Staff, Desert Wind and Exalted Shadow first so that Titania can serve as a transition from melees to guns (as she has both).
@CoolKid369 I wait impatiently for when that time comes. So many interactions with Titania that are silly and strange. Like for example, did you know using a kit gun in your primary loadout slot procs Pax Arcanes? Also, need to test it again but if you give a teammates razorwing butterflys to much attack speed the hosts game has a really bad time~
I've seriously never had the stored damage bypass shield gating since shield gating was introduced. Even when 1Ms of damage is stored and there are enemies right next to me, the shield still takes all the damage. Just got to the augment section and seen that you mention it happens this way when using enrage, but I want to make clear that I never use this augment so that's not why it never bypasses shield gating.

As a Valkyr player I have never thought about that circle once in the almost 10+ years I've played. I honestly did not know what it did. I knew that the number under the % was related to damage somehow but I never knew anything beyond the % being the ramp up. I am either forever in Hysteria or everything is dead lmao. I could never use Enraged due to my setup using Valkyr's steady drain to fuel my Vulpaphyla's duplex to have four cats out at all times just... Absolutely destroying the energy economy in my favor. (They also all do like a bascrillion damage as they should.) I usually subsume over her 3 cause I literally never use it. I use ripline to zip forward more though. Dunno what you're talking about with it not carrying momentum as it feels like it does so for me. Maybe I just use it weird or have an odd sense of momentum??
2:33 it did help a bit when her 4 got the augment where it was on CD and duration based for a gun based valk before the shield recharge mods became mainstay for survivability in reason time (and still really helpful for base SP when building a bit of hp tanking) has you can swap take damage then use melee again (1 hit full heals 99.99% of time)
9:30 Nourish, Equilibrium, and Narrow Minded for duration is the best for energy on Valkyr, you can have negative efficiency from Blind Rage and still won't have energy trouble as long as you're killing enemies. Companions can help with dropping additional health orbs for Equilibrium
That Lifesteal is a relic from the past. Back when energy was a problem, Valkyr's gameplay loop was building up energy with Rage then recovering life with Hysteria.
for high energy drain builds, 'Emergence Dissipate' arcane can do what energy pads cannot when it comes to channeled abilities. its a energy supply on demand, if you got some mobs around. a group of 5 enemies, for example, is enough to fill a big amount of your warframe's energy in a matter of seconds. with no long cooldowns like the ones applied to the squad restore pads (on steelpath). also, the high amount of atk speed from warcry its the perfect tool to spam heavy slams by holding heavy atk button + quick taps on jump button. Nautilus comes as a pretty friendly option in this last case.
As someone who uses the "bad augment" oh hysteria , I just use it for the fun of it, the fact that it is an exilus helps that decision. Also, For some reason, I never died after deactivating Hysteria, before this video I actually didn't know it was a mechanic. I may swap her 3rd after watching this video for a damage buff, I didn't know it could be placed there instead of her 2nd.
I think everyone passively beefs up the armor and also most likely seeks to get out of dodge if they ever see that their energy is getting on the low end. After all while the drain is fast. It does not ramp as fast as, let's say, an ember max heat drain, that can really catch you off guard with how quickly it scales (with of course the fact you do have an easy way of resetting it). So when you see you are at risk of getting thrown out. Anyone who plays valkyr for a bit will most likely reflect jump away which easily will get out of the 5m range (since it's guaranteed you would have been redecorating the interior in red by that point) I think the general issue is that valkyrs claws feel way more cumbersome than other similar exhalted. They are strong sure but it feels like you need to cater to them a lot more and therefore that leaves you with fewer options if you specifically want to spend your time in hysteria which I think thematically is what the frame was built for. It's damage is great but also exalt or baruk can punch the air and have an entire steel path room catch several degrees of cancer. Meanwhile our favorite kitty other there needs to constantly spin to win to slowly delete the same enemy density, 3 meters at a time. Does not stop me from playing her as one of my mains and still to this day remaining the frame at the top of my saved loadouts. But then I murder some poor sob and realized if I had done that on Voruna literally the entire room would be dead.
back when i started wf, valkyr was the first frame i actively went after. loved the sleek cat look, rip line was like the coolest ability ever in my mind, and having invincibility was cool too. still play her occasionally, more so for the fashion because she’s got some nice cosmetics but apart from that she’s pretty one trick. pablo please give her the nyx/trinity treatment.
After testing a lot of helminths my favorite is Jade’s eyes. It helps her talons scale a lot and doesn’t require a cast to strip, it’ll passively strip for you.
I honestly forget tipline is a ability, and the most I ever use it for is just to pull other players especially when they to do jumps and you yank them back😂
Valkyr is one of the reasons I kept playing Warframe, back when we didn't have operator abilities or your early in the game for that matter, I would use Hysteria to revive teammates. MOAs are great with her since you can use robotic mods and pack leader so you and your turkey friend can continue to frolic without having to revive them constantly.

As an aside, Excalibur's Exalted Blade was the first true exalted weapon; Hysteria was originally a timed ability with a fixed duration, and it was far more focused around the invincibility mechanic. The Talons were a neat side effect, but were not the main component. Whereas Excalibur's Exalted Blade was based exclusively around wielding the sword, and could be done indefinitely, provided you had the energy to keep it channelled.
As someone who has put way too much time messing with valk you missed a couple things 1 - Prolonged Paralysis's pull speed is inversely proportional to your power strength. High power strength means a slower pull but longer finisher window - Just a weird interaction on a forgotten augment 2 - Valkyr heavy slam attacks can hit like a truck. While the range isnt insane, the great raw base damage (with power strength) and amazing base crit means that the damage is more than enough for base / mid level steel path. Hysteria also has full access to galvanized reflex / seismic wave / nira set bonus compared to the acolyte mod limits. (no blood rush feels real bad on a slide build). Its an option I find far more engaging than slide attack spam A Baruuk heavy slam build is also really insane, (same strengths with good status chance) when built for blast me and my friends call it the thermo-nuke
Always impressed by the effort that goes into these videos. Valkyr is one of my most used frames and there's still stuff here that I didn't know about. Also sidenote, does anyone remember when hysteria use to levitate you with each attack until you floated away from all the enemies?
i've tested Valk like a month ago, and did notice few things u're mentioned, but somehow missed a slide attack thing xd Thank u for this series, my excal feels much better now
"I don't understand why Hysteria has lifesteal" I see somebody has gotten used to having Arcane Energise. Back before the events which made it common as candy, you'd use something like Rage or Hunter Adrenaline to energy recover, which makes the lifesteal on Hysteria immensely useful. Also, any self-sustain is good self-sustain.
Pretty ironic that Conclave version of Hysteria is better mechanically - 40% damage reduction with 17% lifesteal, flat 7.5 energy/s cost with no deactivation debuff nonsense. The only drawback is that Valkyr need to be on full energy there. This could easily transfer to PvE: 90% dmg reduction, 10% lifesteal, 5 e/s cost, no debuff or ramping cost, or even give her some buff when taking damage (berserker theme and all). Stance need some work, but that also true for many other stances like Wise Razor.
I'm honestly not sure why no content creator I've seen so far puts weathful advance on her. Like come on. It's such an obvious choice for insane red numbers and its basically the enraged augment without the cooldown.
Because it's like slapping a bandaid on a slit throat. Valkyr just doesn't have a cohesive kit, and for most people she's very boring, no matter how strong you make Hysteria. I would love to see DE rework her, but as of right now, you're just better off playing Voruna, Garuda, or Kullervo, if you like the power fantasy of her kit
@@tarakolindo sure. I don't disagree with you, but that's not my point. Putting nourish, lycath's hunt, xata's whisper, or any helminth ability on her is practically the same analogy. My point is that red number funny and I don't know why people seem to be just ignoring that ability for some reason
100% agree, i hit damages into the tens of millions with kullervos helmith ability. 1 shots literally everything. put on equilibrium and some other energy economy mods/arcanes and youll be invincible the whole game while 1 shotting everything. However whats even worse is putting warcry with eternal war on kullervo. then you have insane attack speed and red crits and 1 shot everything on every melee in the game
the way to use hysteria is to not rely on it. you dip into hysteria for a slide attack, refilling your heatlhbar and deleting a strong enemy, and immediately dip back out before you can accumulate much damage.
As someone who runs face tank valkyr, yes. I use her hysteria to quickly delete exmius/overguard and heal before swapping to my gun to finnish them off.
While that may be DE's vision/intention for Valkyr's 4th, idk about you but I love running around like an insane asylum escapist slashing everything to death instantly after they get tickled by my dirga, it makes me feel complete inside
Might have been mentioned in another video but tennokai carries over from your normal melee so you can use one as a sort of stat stick by putting on all the gladiator and tennokai mods. The only one that doesn't work is the one that makes tennokai active every 4 hits because it used to allow you to use it every 2 hits if also put on her talons. Another thing is a Panzer with martyr symbiosis and tek assault is super useful for keeping her from dying between hysterias.
Another Helminth option worth considering on Valkyr is Silence, specifically because it disables abilities. The only time I die on valkyr is when Violence spawns and pulls me out of Hysteria before I delete him. Silence tends to preclude that.
From a quick check i did simulacrum, rolling guard works with hysteria self dmg. So that's a possibility if you want to entirely remove the chance of dying from it and you're ready to waste a mod slot for it. I'll probably add it to my builds, if I find a space just to prevent those random deaths. It might also help remove some risk, if you want to use your guns to proc statuses, tho i have no idea how useful it'd actually end up being
3:40 This is a problem I have with so many forward combos in this game, especially after they did that huge combo pass a while ago where they completely fucked tempo royale by switching it's amazing forward combo to it's neutral combo and the forwrd combo now is so slow and cumbersome, destroying what was one of the best and most fun stances in the game.
Edit: it was a video from MHBlacky Some youtuber had a Valkyr, Talons, melee wealon, sentinel and sentinel weapon build that's been working real good for in steelpath hollvania bounties Diriga would equip the mod for dropping health orbs and one that made him apply every status on its weapon to all targets affected by his area skill, and a mod that refuces his cds (can't recall names) Diriga's weapon is any with the 3 physical types of damage and modded with every elemental status possible including the new ones that give radiation and magnetic Valkyr would use equilibrium, the mod that extends warcry duration, blind rage, and whatever else (could run only equilibrium if you wanted to) Valkyr melee would have every gladiator mod but one Talons would have that gladiator mod, and then would be built for crit and max damage (eg 90% elemental damage appropriate to what you are fighting) AND condition overload (diriga does great applying everything to a large group of enemies)

If you guys would like to stay in Hysteria forever, subsume Voruna’s Lycath’s Hunt ability on Valkyr’s First, and equip the equilibrium mod. And run duration efficiency, you can legit stay in hysteria forever so long as you can kill
Hysteria carries anyone through Steel Path Circuit. Equilibrium keeps the energy concerns way down, to the point that you can keep Wrathful Advance up in the circuit and be just fine, until you get the tenet that makes enemies drop health orbs. In normal missions, Synth Deconstruct makes the concern negligible. Back in the day when hallway skirmishes weren't a half second concern, this ability felt amazing to use and made Warframe feel exciting. Even if people don't think it's one of, if not the most iconic ability in the game, for them personally, everyone who's tried playing Valkyr definitely felt an impact from it.
This might be an unusual compliment, but your videos are the only ones I watch at 1.0x speed. And you're probably one of the few who can appreciate that.
If you don't want to use slide attack and hate macros: There are more sources of power for talons. 2 primary/secondary dexterity arcanes for longer combo count (7.5 sec each, so 15 seconds total for convenience) disciple's merit: Tennokai procs every 4 hits melee exposure +60% corrosive until 240% cap Xata's whisper over paralysis, not really needed but it's nice on tanky stuff and to force melee exposure procs casual build that works: valk: arcane energize (even r0 is fine, on wf market r0 is 35-40p) molt augmented steel charge hysterical assault (change to power drift if u want) precision intensify streamline r4 (with 8 drain) fleeting expertise r4 (with 10 drain) energy conversion primed continuity (negative duration for channeled abilities means u drain more) primed flow gladiator resolve gladiator aegis (gladiator set is 4/6 bonus) 5 purple shards for melee critical damage (not even tauforged) talons: discipline's merit in exilus condition overload (sentinel is primer) primed reach (combo count gets MUCH higher way faster with more range, if you want even more damage or like managing combo counter replace this) galvanized steel organ shatter primed fever strike shocking touch gladiator might primed pressure point Valkyr heavy atk from tennokai casually hits 1.5mil+ and at high combo count (8-12 combo) hits 8-10mil, not insane but pretty good when nobody stays for more than 20 min in endless anyways. The real problem is that we're back (or we never left) the roomclear meta and aoe weapons will just kill stuff before you get there. Back in the day it was maiming strike telos bolace volts, now it's aoe incarnons. With eximi dropping energy orbs u can get away with 175% efficiency 105% duration and arcane energize. Even an r0 arcane energize is nuts and would make it. Did u test 175% efficiency with 50% duration?
I was under the impression as much when making this video, but I learned right after uploading it that you do not need any Gladiator mods on the Talons, you only need them on your normal melee. This allows you to just use the Talon's combo count for the bonus, but it can be a bit tricky to maintain as the only combo duration mod you can put on them is Drifting Contact. If you use Naramon's Power Spike it isn't too bad though.
Reworked Valkyr: Passive: Endless Fury - Valkyr exudes pressure with each kill/assist she claims. She gains 20% Critical Chance/0.2x critical damage for 20s (max stack 5). (keep the original passive as secondary) 1st ability- Talons: Valkyr summons her talon to deal heavy melee damage. (keep talon upgrade) each kill increases movement speed by 10% for 15s(max stack 5), and grants 5% Life steal. each time Valkyr kills an enemy with her talons, she gains 5 combo count. 2nd ability- War cry: Valkyr lets out a fierce war cry that increases her Armor and melee attack speed, and decreases her enemy speed. 3rd ability- Paralyzing Aura: Valkyr gains a berserk meter (similar to garaud/ember) with each kill she makes increasing the meter. creates an aura around Valkyr that increase in size as the meter increases. any enemies within the aura becomes paralysed in fear and unable to act for 5 second (increased with duration), and reduce Armor by 5% per 10% of meter (increase with strength). 4th ability- hysteria: Valkyr goes into a fit of rage. increase weapon damage (base 100%), Critical Chance (base 30%), Slam radius (2m increase with range), while making her invulnerable for 30s (base). At the end of the ability, she takes a portion of damage dealt in the ability as % health damage (max 75%). 30s cooldown. what do you think? @CoolKid369
I swear, most of the community is comatose on Heavy Slam Talons. I just got off of EDA and it one-shots *everything* there except for Necramechs, Gruzzlings and the Whisper minibosses. Here's my setup: - Lycath's Hunt over Ripline or Paralysis for energy. - Arcane Battery (+210 max energy at base) so you never have to look at your energy bar. Second Arcane can be anything. - Equilibrium + 7 other mods, primarily duration and strength. -- Streamline makes mission start more comfortable. -- If you don't have Armor mods, Warcry pushes you over the 917 Armor Arcane Battery needs to give Valkyr 500+ max energy for Violet Shards, so Eternal War works there. -- Triple Umbral is hilarious but not necessary. - Talons: Primed/Sacrificial Pressure Point, Galvanized/Sacrificial Steel, Galvanized Reflex, Seismic Wave, Organ Shatter, +3 mod slots for elements and whatnot. - Focus can be anything. - Red Duration/Strength Shards and Purple Melee Crit Shards are advised but not mandatory (Tauforged or not, doesn't matter that much). - Seismic Bond companion for comfort. This build generates enough energy to sustain Hysteria for as long as there are enemies, and you don't have to deal with the Stance or slide attacking, so you're just left with full invincibility and the ability to kill mostly everything in a 7m radius of your location because Seismic Wave is _multiplicative_ to Pressure Point.
Just wanted to say that I totally forgot about Wrathful Advance, but it's also a very good Helminth option on Valkyr. Considering that it was in the Excalibur video you'd think I'd have included it in this one, but my own stupidity continues to surprise me.

permanently staying invulnerable excluding briefly using a primer on thrax before CTRL+E deleting them (no corrosive shards, too busy used 5 tau purple for le funny numbers).

I was just about to comment that Wrathful Advance is probably the best on Valkyr, given it makes use of her heavy attack and massively boosts her crit chance. Mine has 4 reds for power and duration plus a purple for energy and she clears almost any content and I've seen her tennokai heavies hit for upwards of 25m.
I was going to suggest that one, because with even 22 seconds of duration on it and +150% crit% on my Gauss it slaps in Redline, so that was my first bet for Valkyr.
As you read through Hysteria's wiki entry, you can literally feel Steve and Scott sneering at you across time.

The summersault is cool because if you do it a bunch of times in a row it screws up your audio for a bit and that's pretty funny
Another fun fact is that if you spam the Pounce from her 4 augment, you will be stuck with extremely low FOV for a bit, which is also funny.
If you have any source of overguard, it's actually invincible during Hysteria, so any amount of overguard will cause you to fully gate the Hysteria backlash if it falls off for any reason.
This is a peak strategy

The lich thing, its not a knock down, its closer too a lift youd get from spellbind then just flings you, if it is somehow stopped then you remain airborne temporarily, the teleport CC also isnt much as its not only rare but also can just be overpowered by valkyrs jank, so she really is knockdown immune, its just anything thats not a knockdown is still effective.
Honestly learned more about Valkyr from this than ive been able to osmose in years, another banger, and looking forward to the next!
Here is a tip about Tennokai that totally made me throw away slide attacks (unless i need a slight gap closer):
Tennokai mods stacks + Tennokai mods on the statstick work on the Talons. Yep! You can double stack Dreamer's Wrath for very frequent tennokai windows, or double stack Opportunity's Reach for a wopping 8 seconds tennokai window (sadly, the range buff don't work and stay at 7m). Personally, i have Dreamer's Wrath/Opportunity's Reach/Master's Edge on my Praedos statstick and Dreamer's Wrath on the Talons itself. It allows me to spam Tennokai like no tomorrow (however, Discipline's Merit make the whole thing stop working completely, so don't use it). And since Talons heavy attack have a slam component, you can use Seismic Wave. With so much damages, i can slot both Prime Reach and Spring-Loaded Blade on the Talons and still slap like a truck :D
I've never been a fan of tennokai, but I'm going to copy this down and look at it sometime and see if that can refresh my valkyr gameplay. I've been spinning to win in Netracells for a while now and it gets boring.

A mod I include on my Talons build is, believe it or not, Proton Snap.
The status chance you get from Snap is flat, which means you can bring that measly 10% status up to a workable if not scaleable 60%.
Needing to wall-latch to activate it is clunky, don’t get me wrong, but if clunk scares you, you’re probably not interested in Valkyr in the first place. Besides, it’s a good excuse to run Arcane Arachne.

I literally just finished testing this out with archon vitality. Definitely a noticeable damage boost, but you have to make sure your melee is equipped or else you'll get immediately slapped off the wall when you pull out your Tigris lol.
I mean Valkyr's about as simple as it gets functionally, as far as usage goes. Press 2, press 4, press whatever you subsumed on, slide attack til you don't wanna be in the mission anymore. Wall latching will be nice if i remember it i guess though.
I mean one would use Arachne but caveat being it doesn’t affect melee
And while wall latching you can use a primer. I also recommend using Voruna's subsume to stay in hysteria indefinitely.
All of this actually makes a very interesting playstyle where you activate hysteria go to wall latch, buff descend apon your chosen group of victims, rip and tear, go back to wall, rebuff, repeat.
By the way use the arcane that makes you scale energy with armor so your running around with 1000 energy at full buffs.
1:03 avenger procs on getting hit, despite the description saying "on damaged", it also happens with harrow, nyx, loki, Excalibur, qorvex, wisp, and any other frame with invinsibility when they get damaged
Valks invincibility is different, because it counts the damage that you're resisting.

I have heard about the damage that gets stored so many times but in all the times I’ve played Valkyr I have never once actually noticed it, So actually seeing it in action here is mind blowing
pretty much only matters in insanely hight level content, if you didnt invest in Valkyr's durability, if you keep Hysteria up for ages in a single cast, or a combination of the above. The number of times it killed me in my years long valkyr main carreer can probably be counted on a single hand
All they really have to do to make her talons updated to the current meta without using weird tactics to buff them is give all her attacks except heavy attacks 100% slash chance. They have low range and they are supposed to be sharp energy claws yet have pitifully low status chance. If they still intend on keeping the low status for balance fine, but make the attacks always proc slash to make her feel more impactful.
Also, i remember DE in the past said they would not give valkyr's hysteria combos and ruin her unique moveset when DE were announcing they would add stance mods to the game. They uh, they did give her a stance, and people disliked it. Shocker.
14:34 you also sadly didn't mention that casting prolonged paralysis again on enemies already effected REMOVES the effect from enemies, making using it like a cheap built in pull more annoying.
The main issue I see with that is she’d become even more similar to Garuda, and would still be worse in comparison.
Valkyr needs to stand on her own, with her own identity and niche. Otherwise she’ll always be in the shadow of other, better frames.

Honestly I feel like Valkyr would be better off without the invincibility, and was simply a health tank like her base stats clearly want her to be. Then all those caveats for Hysteria would be removed. You could still weave in some shieldgating if you want to use her in level cap anyway.

Some of the Archon mods from Boreal and I think Nira's Sets?, Aerial Ace which gives extra jumps on headshot, and Odomedic and Anti-Grav Array.
basically you can slap them on to any frame that has a decent built in air ability and things that would synergize with height; Zephyr is the Queen and then Valkyr, Wisp, and Nezha are all phenomenal with it.
There's also arcanes like Arachne and Double back as well as general parkour speed boosts from Archon Shards and other Arcanes. Verticality isn't always the play, but it's a good set of tools to help you master almost any gameplay, and maneuver through levels faster than a Titania, Gauss or Volt might be able to for it.
Never forgetti the nerfs and stance changes she recieved
With Nyx and Trinity touched up, I pray that Valkyr is in line for some touch ups given how old the kitty is, but then again Oberon and Loki exist.
I miss playing Oberon. It’s nice to have the full strip and status immunity but there are so many ways to do that now that are much easier or more efficient.

It never did. The only actual mechanical changes beyond the stance it got was going from pure duration to channeled ability, and the damage dealt range slowly growing instead of being static.

Exalted Blade should be the one that have lifesteal instead. Hysteria granting damage immunity make no sense to have that life steal. It also make no sense of why she have life steal before stored damage hurt her, should have been after.

@BT_7274 yes, but it's because it gives 200% modded crit chance, but you can't use bloodrush, which can give 480% modded crit chance with full 12x combo count, so Prisma skana incarnon still wins in that scenario
@GunterBunterWarframe gladiator mod set works by using the crit chance after mods. Meaning her tallons can gain minimum 10% crit chance every multiplier on effectively base 250 meaning in get base 500% or more on crit chance

It can get 53% crit chance with no mods on it, while the talons have 50% crit chance, so it will always have a slightly higher crit chance, at least until DE makes bloodrush usable on exalted melees

Valkyr is definitely in need of the next Pablo Refresh. Her abilities don't really need full reworks (although rip line would benefit from new physics), she really just needs ancient number mechanics adjusted/removed.
If she does receive a refresh, I hope it’s more like Nova’s and less like Frost’s.
I’m still confused and annoyed that he didn’t receive the changes he’s needed for so long. His 1 and 2 are still effectively the same ability (and can be entirely replaced by any other method of cold priming), his 3 is still only useful in non-operative Defense, Excavation, Mobile Defense, and Void Armageddon, leaving Avalanche as his only ability you’ll end up using.
He has poor innate survivability despite his design leaning towards being a tank, with high base shields, above average base armor (+ the considerable amount from his passive), but a small amount of base health for that armor to be applied onto.
You’re expected to use at least 2 different augments to make him useful for anything beyond soft crowd control and full stripping in Steel Path content, with one of them being pretty antithetical to his high armor, Icy Avalanche. What is the point of armor when you have high shields and are spamming an ability that gives you overguard? I really don’t know why they didn’t just make Biting Frost his new passive and turn the augment into something else altogether.
And since you need to spam his 4 to stay alive in any capacity, you’d need a lot of energy to deal with its base 100 energy cost. Unfortunately, both regular and prime versions of Frost have a measly 100 base energy, which even Primed Flow can’t do much to help with. The clear intent was to have players use Arcane Battery, but that arcane becomes very awkward to use with fluctuating armor values, which his new passive causes.
Every other frame who has access to overguard has a better way to manage their energy economy. Styanax’s source of overguard is rather expensive, but Rally Point + Nourish provide way more than enough to sustain it. The base amount provided by Dante’s Triumph is so high that-in tandem with its manageable 50 energy cost-energy isn’t too much of an issue. Kullervo has a relatively cheap casting cost, and also immediately deletes any enemy that is in front of him, making him not take much damage to begin with. Rhino’s overguard values actually scale with enemy level via their damage, making it easier to sustain. Lastly, Ember has a bit of difficulty maintaining overguard, but she also creates loads of energy orbs via Exothermic and has some DR to bolster her shields and health when the overguard runs out.
I just really wish Frost would get a proper rework, but that’s likely never going to happen. It’s sad to see the first frame I ever built be left in such an incomplete state.
@@SmoothTurtle840 Maybe if his 2 was a movement ability with an I-frame, and using his 1 to collapse his bubble around you gave you an 'ice shield' that provided some % chance for damage reflection that worked with overguard (and shields/hp), that would be nice. Basically giving him extra layers of survivability on the move so you cast avalanche less often.
Tho idk if they'll ever rework him like that since they already indirectly buffed him a bunch, even if his abilities are a bit inflexible and survivability is expensive. (eg: Shivering contagion procing on primaries while on sentinels, cold status changes, and the 1st augment buff are large buffs to biting frost. A magnetic the tenet galaxion absolutely slaps with him.)
If Pablo reworks Valkyr, I'll cry.

Razorwing is probably going to be the longest episode in the entire series because it's so complex, but I am excited to do it. Current plan is to knock out Iron Staff, Desert Wind and Exalted Shadow first so that Titania can serve as a transition from melees to guns (as she has both).

I've seriously never had the stored damage bypass shield gating since shield gating was introduced. Even when 1Ms of damage is stored and there are enemies right next to me, the shield still takes all the damage.
Just got to the augment section and seen that you mention it happens this way when using enrage, but I want to make clear that I never use this augment so that's not why it never bypasses shield gating.

As a Valkyr player I have never thought about that circle once in the almost 10+ years I've played. I honestly did not know what it did. I knew that the number under the % was related to damage somehow but I never knew anything beyond the % being the ramp up.

I could never use Enraged due to my setup using Valkyr's steady drain to fuel my Vulpaphyla's duplex to have four cats out at all times just... Absolutely destroying the energy economy in my favor. (They also all do like a bascrillion damage as they should.)
I usually subsume over her 3 cause I literally never use it. I use ripline to zip forward more though. Dunno what you're talking about with it not carrying momentum as it feels like it does so for me. Maybe I just use it weird or have an odd sense of momentum??
2:33 it did help a bit when her 4 got the augment where it was on CD and duration based for a gun based valk before the shield recharge mods became mainstay for survivability in reason time (and still really helpful for base SP when building a bit of hp tanking) has you can swap take damage then use melee again (1 hit full heals 99.99% of time)
9:30 Nourish, Equilibrium, and Narrow Minded for duration is the best for energy on Valkyr, you can have negative efficiency from Blind Rage and still won't have energy trouble as long as you're killing enemies. Companions can help with dropping additional health orbs for Equilibrium

That Lifesteal is a relic from the past. Back when energy was a problem, Valkyr's gameplay loop was building up energy with Rage then recovering life with Hysteria.
for high energy drain builds, 'Emergence Dissipate' arcane can do what energy pads cannot when it comes to channeled abilities. its a energy supply on demand, if you got some mobs around. a group of 5 enemies, for example, is enough to fill a big amount of your warframe's energy in a matter of seconds. with no long cooldowns like the ones applied to the squad restore pads (on steelpath). also, the high amount of atk speed from warcry its the perfect tool to spam heavy slams by holding heavy atk button + quick taps on jump button. Nautilus comes as a pretty friendly option in this last case.

As someone who uses the "bad augment" oh hysteria , I just use it for the fun of it, the fact that it is an exilus helps that decision. Also, For some reason, I never died after deactivating Hysteria, before this video I actually didn't know it was a mechanic. I may swap her 3rd after watching this video for a damage buff, I didn't know it could be placed there instead of her 2nd.
I think everyone passively beefs up the armor and also most likely seeks to get out of dodge if they ever see that their energy is getting on the low end. After all while the drain is fast. It does not ramp as fast as, let's say, an ember max heat drain, that can really catch you off guard with how quickly it scales (with of course the fact you do have an easy way of resetting it). So when you see you are at risk of getting thrown out. Anyone who plays valkyr for a bit will most likely reflect jump away which easily will get out of the 5m range (since it's guaranteed you would have been redecorating the interior in red by that point)
I think the general issue is that valkyrs claws feel way more cumbersome than other similar exhalted. They are strong sure but it feels like you need to cater to them a lot more and therefore that leaves you with fewer options if you specifically want to spend your time in hysteria which I think thematically is what the frame was built for. It's damage is great but also exalt or baruk can punch the air and have an entire steel path room catch several degrees of cancer.
Meanwhile our favorite kitty other there needs to constantly spin to win to slowly delete the same enemy density, 3 meters at a time.
Does not stop me from playing her as one of my mains and still to this day remaining the frame at the top of my saved loadouts. But then I murder some poor sob and realized if I had done that on Voruna literally the entire room would be dead.
back when i started wf, valkyr was the first frame i actively went after. loved the sleek cat look, rip line was like the coolest ability ever in my mind, and having invincibility was cool too. still play her occasionally, more so for the fashion because she’s got some nice cosmetics but apart from that she’s pretty one trick. pablo please give her the nyx/trinity treatment.

After testing a lot of helminths my favorite is Jade’s eyes. It helps her talons scale a lot and doesn’t require a cast to strip, it’ll passively strip for you.

Valkyr is one of the reasons I kept playing Warframe, back when we didn't have operator abilities or your early in the game for that matter, I would use Hysteria to revive teammates. MOAs are great with her since you can use robotic mods and pack leader so you and your turkey friend can continue to frolic without having to revive them constantly.

Really can't wait for the Noctua episode. I won't pretend that it's just S++, but a lot of the community really sleeps on how stellar it can be.
As an aside, Excalibur's Exalted Blade was the first true exalted weapon; Hysteria was originally a timed ability with a fixed duration, and it was far more focused around the invincibility mechanic. The Talons were a neat side effect, but were not the main component. Whereas Excalibur's Exalted Blade was based exclusively around wielding the sword, and could be done indefinitely, provided you had the energy to keep it channelled.
As someone who has put way too much time messing with valk you missed a couple things
1 - Prolonged Paralysis's pull speed is inversely proportional to your power strength. High power strength means a slower pull but longer finisher window - Just a weird interaction on a forgotten augment
2 - Valkyr heavy slam attacks can hit like a truck. While the range isnt insane, the great raw base damage (with power strength) and amazing base crit means that the damage is more than enough for base / mid level steel path. Hysteria also has full access to galvanized reflex / seismic wave / nira set bonus compared to the acolyte mod limits. (no blood rush feels real bad on a slide build). Its an option I find far more engaging than slide attack spam
A Baruuk heavy slam build is also really insane, (same strengths with good status chance) when built for blast me and my friends call it the thermo-nuke
Always impressed by the effort that goes into these videos. Valkyr is one of my most used frames and there's still stuff here that I didn't know about.
Also sidenote, does anyone remember when hysteria use to levitate you with each attack until you floated away from all the enemies?

I see somebody has gotten used to having Arcane Energise. Back before the events which made it common as candy, you'd use something like Rage or Hunter Adrenaline to energy recover, which makes the lifesteal on Hysteria immensely useful. Also, any self-sustain is good self-sustain.
Pretty ironic that Conclave version of Hysteria is better mechanically - 40% damage reduction with 17% lifesteal, flat 7.5 energy/s cost with no deactivation debuff nonsense. The only drawback is that Valkyr need to be on full energy there. This could easily transfer to PvE: 90% dmg reduction, 10% lifesteal, 5 e/s cost, no debuff or ramping cost, or even give her some buff when taking damage (berserker theme and all). Stance need some work, but that also true for many other stances like Wise Razor.
I'm honestly not sure why no content creator I've seen so far puts weathful advance on her. Like come on. It's such an obvious choice for insane red numbers and its basically the enraged augment without the cooldown.
Because it's like slapping a bandaid on a slit throat. Valkyr just doesn't have a cohesive kit, and for most people she's very boring, no matter how strong you make Hysteria. I would love to see DE rework her, but as of right now, you're just better off playing Voruna, Garuda, or Kullervo, if you like the power fantasy of her kit

100% agree, i hit damages into the tens of millions with kullervos helmith ability. 1 shots literally everything. put on equilibrium and some other energy economy mods/arcanes and youll be invincible the whole game while 1 shotting everything. However whats even worse is putting warcry with eternal war on kullervo. then you have insane attack speed and red crits and 1 shot everything on every melee in the game
Not only do you get massive red crits but you can also replace ripline and have a mobility tool that's actually worth using between your parkour spam

the way to use hysteria is to not rely on it. you dip into hysteria for a slide attack, refilling your heatlhbar and deleting a strong enemy, and immediately dip back out before you can accumulate much damage.
As someone who runs face tank valkyr, yes. I use her hysteria to quickly delete exmius/overguard and heal before swapping to my gun to finnish them off.
While that may be DE's vision/intention for Valkyr's 4th, idk about you but I love running around like an insane asylum escapist slashing everything to death instantly after they get tickled by my dirga, it makes me feel complete inside
Might have been mentioned in another video but tennokai carries over from your normal melee so you can use one as a sort of stat stick by putting on all the gladiator and tennokai mods. The only one that doesn't work is the one that makes tennokai active every 4 hits because it used to allow you to use it every 2 hits if also put on her talons. Another thing is a Panzer with martyr symbiosis and tek assault is super useful for keeping her from dying between hysterias.
Another Helminth option worth considering on Valkyr is Silence, specifically because it disables abilities. The only time I die on valkyr is when Violence spawns and pulls me out of Hysteria before I delete him. Silence tends to preclude that.
From a quick check i did simulacrum, rolling guard works with hysteria self dmg. So that's a possibility if you want to entirely remove the chance of dying from it and you're ready to waste a mod slot for it. I'll probably add it to my builds, if I find a space just to prevent those random deaths. It might also help remove some risk, if you want to use your guns to proc statuses, tho i have no idea how useful it'd actually end up being

3:40 This is a problem I have with so many forward combos in this game, especially after they did that huge combo pass a while ago where they completely fucked tempo royale by switching it's amazing forward combo to it's neutral combo and the forwrd combo now is so slow and cumbersome, destroying what was one of the best and most fun stances in the game.
I do believe it was melee 3.0 that ruined all stance combos forever.
Her Hysteria should just drain health instead if energy. That would make the invincibility + lifesteal make sense. Kill to live and live to kill.

Some youtuber had a Valkyr, Talons, melee wealon, sentinel and sentinel weapon build that's been working real good for in steelpath hollvania bounties
Diriga would equip the mod for dropping health orbs and one that made him apply every status on its weapon to all targets affected by his area skill, and a mod that refuces his cds (can't recall names)
Diriga's weapon is any with the 3 physical types of damage and modded with every elemental status possible including the new ones that give radiation and magnetic
Valkyr would use equilibrium, the mod that extends warcry duration, blind rage, and whatever else (could run only equilibrium if you wanted to)
Valkyr melee would have every gladiator mod but one
Talons would have that gladiator mod, and then would be built for crit and max damage (eg 90% elemental damage appropriate to what you are fighting) AND condition overload (diriga does great applying everything to a large group of enemies)

If they ever visit valkyrs protoframe, they really need to model her after DEmegan.
Hysteria carries anyone through Steel Path Circuit.
Equilibrium keeps the energy concerns way down, to the point that you can keep Wrathful Advance up in the circuit and be just fine, until you get the tenet that makes enemies drop health orbs.
In normal missions, Synth Deconstruct makes the concern negligible.
Back in the day when hallway skirmishes weren't a half second concern, this ability felt amazing to use and made Warframe feel exciting. Even if people don't think it's one of, if not the most iconic ability in the game, for them personally, everyone who's tried playing Valkyr definitely felt an impact from it.
This might be an unusual compliment, but your videos are the only ones I watch at 1.0x speed. And you're probably one of the few who can appreciate that.
If you don't want to use slide attack and hate macros:
There are more sources of power for talons.
2 primary/secondary dexterity arcanes for longer combo count (7.5 sec each, so 15 seconds total for convenience)
disciple's merit: Tennokai procs every 4 hits
melee exposure +60% corrosive until 240% cap
Xata's whisper over paralysis, not really needed but it's nice on tanky stuff and to force melee exposure procs

arcane energize (even r0 is fine, on wf market r0 is 35-40p)

hysterical assault (change to power drift if u want)
precision intensify
streamline r4 (with 8 drain)
fleeting expertise r4 (with 10 drain)

primed continuity (negative duration for channeled abilities means u drain more)

gladiator aegis (gladiator set is 4/6 bonus)
5 purple shards for melee critical damage (not even tauforged)
talons:
discipline's merit in exilus
condition overload (sentinel is primer)
primed reach (combo count gets MUCH higher way faster with more range, if you want even more damage or like managing combo counter replace this)
galvanized steel
organ shatter
primed fever strike
shocking touch
gladiator might
primed pressure point
Valkyr heavy atk from tennokai casually hits 1.5mil+ and at high combo count (8-12 combo) hits 8-10mil, not insane but pretty good when nobody stays for more than 20 min in endless anyways.
The real problem is that we're back (or we never left) the roomclear meta and aoe weapons will just kill stuff before you get there. Back in the day it was maiming strike telos bolace volts, now it's aoe incarnons.
With eximi dropping energy orbs u can get away with 175% efficiency 105% duration and arcane energize. Even an r0 arcane energize is nuts and would make it. Did u test 175% efficiency with 50% duration?
12:47 forgive my listening comprehension, but this means gladiator mods on both the exalted and your equipped melee weapon for the set to work? 😅
I was under the impression as much when making this video, but I learned right after uploading it that you do not need any Gladiator mods on the Talons, you only need them on your normal melee. This allows you to just use the Talon's combo count for the bonus, but it can be a bit tricky to maintain as the only combo duration mod you can put on them is Drifting Contact. If you use Naramon's Power Spike it isn't too bad though.

Reworked Valkyr:
Passive: Endless Fury - Valkyr exudes pressure with each kill/assist she claims. She gains 20% Critical Chance/0.2x critical damage for 20s (max stack 5). (keep the original passive as secondary)
1st ability- Talons: Valkyr summons her talon to deal heavy melee damage. (keep talon upgrade) each kill increases movement speed by 10% for 15s(max stack 5), and grants 5% Life steal. each time Valkyr kills an enemy with her talons, she gains 5 combo count.
2nd ability- War cry: Valkyr lets out a fierce war cry that increases her Armor and melee attack speed, and decreases her enemy speed.
3rd ability- Paralyzing Aura: Valkyr gains a berserk meter (similar to garaud/ember) with each kill she makes increasing the meter. creates an aura around Valkyr that increase in size as the meter increases. any enemies within the aura becomes paralysed in fear and unable to act for 5 second (increased with duration), and reduce Armor by 5% per 10% of meter (increase with strength).
4th ability- hysteria: Valkyr goes into a fit of rage. increase weapon damage (base 100%), Critical Chance (base 30%), Slam radius (2m increase with range), while making her invulnerable for 30s (base). At the end of the ability, she takes a portion of damage dealt in the ability as % health damage (max 75%). 30s cooldown.

I swear, most of the community is comatose on Heavy Slam Talons. I just got off of EDA and it one-shots *everything* there except for Necramechs, Gruzzlings and the Whisper minibosses. Here's my setup:
- Lycath's Hunt over Ripline or Paralysis for energy.
- Arcane Battery (+210 max energy at base) so you never have to look at your energy bar. Second Arcane can be anything.
- Equilibrium + 7 other mods, primarily duration and strength.
-- Streamline makes mission start more comfortable.
-- If you don't have Armor mods, Warcry pushes you over the 917 Armor Arcane Battery needs to give Valkyr 500+ max energy for Violet Shards, so Eternal War works there.
-- Triple Umbral is hilarious but not necessary.
- Talons: Primed/Sacrificial Pressure Point, Galvanized/Sacrificial Steel, Galvanized Reflex, Seismic Wave, Organ Shatter, +3 mod slots for elements and whatnot.
- Focus can be anything.
- Red Duration/Strength Shards and Purple Melee Crit Shards are advised but not mandatory (Tauforged or not, doesn't matter that much).
- Seismic Bond companion for comfort.
This build generates enough energy to sustain Hysteria for as long as there are enemies, and you don't have to deal with the Stance or slide attacking, so you're just left with full invincibility and the ability to kill mostly everything in a 7m radius of your location because Seismic Wave is _multiplicative_ to Pressure Point.
