I love just watching booktube and screenshotting any book I find interesting and then realizing I have no memory of any of the pictures I now have sitting on my desktop.
I FRIGGING GOT SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW YOUR COMMENT I LOVE THE SONG OF ACHILLES SO MUCH I WENT ON A FEELS TRIP WITH THAT BOOK I LOVE IT SO MUCH I PROMISED MYSELF THAT I WOULD NAME MY CHILD ACHILLES IF I EVER HAVE ONE I'm such trash for that book!!!!
My fiancé got me _Catalyst_ (the Rogue One prequel book) and the novelization of _Rogue One_, and my mom got me Carrie Fisher's new book, _The Princess Diarist_. I'm hoping to buy more on Amazon since I got a gift card for Christmas too.
uuuuuuhhh I don't know what's going on with this book but Lady Jane Grey was put in the throne after Edward VI died not like in place of him so like... idk if I would 100% trust the historical accuracy of this book
The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao is amazing! I loved it so so much. Basically its about life as a first or second generation immigrant from Dominican Republic (I can't remember) that's now living in New Jersey, so it deals a lot with cultural representation and the sense of not belonging completely to neither the american culture nor the latin one in Dominican Republic. It's such a smart book.
I love those harry potter covers! I just bought that entire set at Walmart a few months back and those covers are giving me LIFE on my bookshelf. they are GORGEOUS ❤
As soon as pay day comes along, I'm buying myself new bookshelves and some new books. I just finished and loved An Ember in the Ashes, so one of the first ones I'm is A Torch Against the Night! Great haul Regan!!
I got Vampire academy for Christmas as well as the daughter of smoke and bone trilogy and I'm so excited!!! And with the money I got I bought throne of Glass colouring book, red queen and Glass sword with the colouring book, cinder, scalet and cress, stalking Jack the Ripper, black moon, the new Cassandra Clare book, the hammer of Thor and that's it :)
I got the _Six of Crows_ duology box set for Christmas and I'm so excited to start it. I'm currently reading _The Falling Kingdoms_ series (I'm just finished _Rebel Spring_) and plan to start _Six of Crows_ after finish the series. I've been hearing a lot about _My Lady Jane_, I think I'm going to give it a try.
I received the Dash and Lily books as well as the Hating Game, but my book of the season/of the year is London Belongs to Me. Everyone should read it! I'm not surprised you liked it, Regan.
Oscar Wao is simultaneously a classic coming of age story and a wildly refreshing read, definitely raw and emotionally intense but absolutely brilliant- Junot Diaz is one of my favorite authors of all time and if you enjoy Oscar Wao I'd definitely recommend picking up his other two short story collections!
Oh my gosh!! I freakin love The Falling Kingdoms series too. Got Crystal Storm for Christmas but I'm still thinking if I should go back and reread Frozen Tides so I remember what happened. 🤔
I got three arcs this month which are The Good Daughter by Alexandra Burt, A Bridge Across the Ocean by Susan Messiner, and Gone Without a Trace by Mary Torjussen
For Christmas I got Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige, Ever the Hunted by Erin Summerill (really excited for this one!) and finally the entire These Broken Stars Trilogy by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. I got the Chamber of Secrets Illustrated Edition and I also got Talking as Fast As I Can by Lauren Graham. Which I am super excited about cause my secret Santa from a Goodreads group gave it to me and I love Gilmore Girls
Fate of the Tearling was so good!!! Love love love. The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao was very good, but also quite sad. Better to get into it without too much info beforehand I think.
I got Milk & Honey by Rupi Kaur for Christmas! I didn't know much about it, but I ended up liking the poems a lot! I need to add a few from your haul to my list!
I didn't get any books for Christmas this year... But I might have gone out and bought several for myself. Haha! I DID get The Only Pirate at the Party (which I already owned) signed by Lindsey Stirling though!
Loved your Christmas book haul. I got a number of books but just started In The Woods by Tana French. Love your videos and have a number of books on my TBR from them.
SO MANY GREAT BOOKS.. the fallen kingdom series sounds really good.. I really wanna read Nest, My Lady Jane, And I Darken & Jane Steele! I didn't get any gifts for christmas, instead my mom gave me money and the first thing I did was that I bought Tales from The Shadowhunter Academy.. XD
I recently read A darker shade of magic which I LOVED. Also re read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with Christmas. Currently I'm reading Half Lost by Sally Green which I'm not very fond of unfortunately. But I'm loaning it from the library so that's okay. And recently I bought Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Empire of Storms, Nevernight by Jay Kristoff and the script of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. Can't wait to read them!

When you look up The Book Thief on Amazon, and the anniversary addition is $11, but the original is $23........I'm so confused. Btw, My Lady Jane was an amazing book, I one hundred percent recommend; might even be my favorite book of 2016!
The Book Thief. Best. Book. Ever. I was in science when I finished it, and I started crying a lot, then I told my friend and we cried together. Our crying was interrupted when my science teacher told me I was disrupting the class and sent me across the hall to the library.
I haven't read My Lady Jane but considering Lady Jane Grey was put on the throne BY Edward VI, not to rob him of the throne as the blurb suggests, I would definitely take it with a pinch of salt (also look up the actual story because it's super interesting)
OMIGOODNESS, you are going to LOVE My Lady Jane! It's so fantastic - I laughed my head off when reading that book! And I Darken is a great book, too, but heads up - it's not really a fantasy moreso a historic re-telling. (I was confused why it was labeled as a fantasy, too.)
This month I got the British paperbacks for the H.P. series, thus I can finally read the entire series! I can't wait to read. I can't believe it took me practically my whole life to finally get them and start reading them ;)
Well, I got Acid by Emma Pass, and a few random books my mom got me, Angelopolis (Angelology #2), The Shadow Of The Soul (The Dog Faced Gods #2), Unafraid (Unnatural #4), Vengeance Bound, Agenda 21: Into The Shadows, Daylighters (Morganville Vampires #15) Mount Terminus and I'm Only Here For The Wifi, and yeah, my moms pretty unorganized, and added alot to my moms Amazon Wishlist and today I got a bindup of The Original Shannara Trilogy

Man, I really wanna get the english hardcover edition of the Tearling series, but it's so expensive. I've read the first book in German and loved it and now I wanna reread the first one on English, because it's been a few years, and continue the series. Maybe I'll get around to it sometime next year
Oscar Wao is honestly hard to explain but essentially it follows Oscar and his family through life in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to New Jersey and back again. It's funny and so, so heartbreaking. It'll give you feels. I loved this book so much I read This is How You Lose Her (where I fell even more in love) and I'm currently reading Drown.
Lin Manuel-Miranda narrates the audiobook for Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe! I've been meaning to listen to it because it was one of my favorite books from a few years ago.
Can't wait for you to read And I Darken, it's my favorite book of 2016! It's everything you say it is, but then there's also so many more political, social and religious issues being addressed, it's fantastic. Can't wait to hear what you think.
you should read The Emerged World Chronicles by Licia Troisi because it is just BOMB. It is a wonderful high fantasy book written by an Italian author and the story is so catching and you must read it.
I bought for myself Tell the wolves I'm home and The black Prism. And I got Station Eleven, Warbreaker, The lies of Locke Lamora. SUPER excited for The black Prism :)
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy Oscar Wilde - didn't live up to the hype on the book. It made me depressed when I was reading it. I am interested to see what you think - maybe listening to the audio will help :)
I've got Illuminae for Christmas! It hasn't arrived yet but yes, it's a christmas present from my parents. I'm so excited :) I'm currently reading Am I Normal, Yet? By Holly Bourne and I'm really enjoying it. It's a contemporary but I find it really deep
I haven't read Jane Steele yet, but I HIGHLY recommend Lyndsay Faye's historical fiction Timothy Wilde trilogy, starting with "The Gods of Gotham." It's absolutely fantastic.
THE LAST BOOK OF THE QUEEN OF THE TEARLING IS OUT?? My dad got me the first book in Norwegian (in hardcover as well) and I really loved it! It said that The Invasion of Tearling would be translated and published this spring but I can't find it anywhere?? I guess I'll just have to get the English versions and read them, cause I really want to know what happens!
I just did some reseach and apparently they won't translate it until the freaking movie is out. THAT'S INCREDIBLY STUPID AND NOW I HAVE TO GET THE ENGLISH ONES.I am a little upset, but I generally prefer reading fantasy in English so it's okay
